Invellop Leatherette Case - Galaxy Note 3 Accessories

Hi I just received this case and it is really nice. Provides a real leather feel, all ports are available, volume and power buttons are completely covered by still very easy to press, spen access is great. Overall very premium feel while keeping it thin. I paid 2.95 from Amazon.
If anyone's interested here is a link

This was the first case i received and used it prior to switching to the Spigen Neo Hybrid. I got the Mustard Yellow colored one and still think I may use it every now and then. It's a nice case, just didn't like leaving the top and bottom of the phone exposed. I got mine for $1.99, but think they went up shortly after I ordered.

That's the only thing, if the top and bottom were not exposed I'd buy this case.

Flex gel mmm yes

anyone else absolutely in love with flex gel cases or is it just me? i just bought an arguile clear flex gel case off ebay. I'm a big case hoarder for all the smart phones i've had. I've found flex gel cases to be the best for everyday, convenient use.
Also, now that i have a white phone, i feel it should be a crime to not go with a clear case and show off my phone rather than hide it's beauty. Anyways, anyone else having an open love affair with flex gel, or is it just me? if so, do you like your buttons with cutout access, or covered? i must know.
well lets see the case man any pics?

is the case i just purchased. it hasn't come in yet, so i cant really show pictures of it. i have pics of the same case on my samsung galaxy s2. i was more concerned with everyone else's opinions on flex gel, and if they feel bad covering up their beautiful phone.

Overall, I'm very happy with the case. It's thin, yet provides the protection I need. It also shows off enough of the pretty phone, with still having a style of its own.
Thanks for the pics...I wanted to see how the white looked with the white argyle...looks nice.

it's very crystally looking to me. you'll get compliments, i guarantee it.
I love those cases! They are better than an otter box in my opinion. I just got a Sweet lookin matte black one off eBay for my amaze which sports some noticeable battle damage on its body... the look of the phone is totally different now. I also have the tpu case on my g2 and g2x. I swear by em !

Body glove makes a clear one....do an Amazon search for HTC Amaze TPU Case. Body Glove should come up as one of the options.

Nice! I have one similar to this also. I just ordered a trident case a few days ago though. I couldn't resist aha
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using XDA App
I had a nice trident case for my EVO, but after a while it was just way too big. I'm female so my pants pockets are usually small. It's hard to fit one of those cases in one. That's why I absolutely love this material. No friction and relatively strong, without being too bulky.
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using XDA App
Yeah I agree. I love the case I have now (tpu case). But I'm a relatively big guy 6'3" so I don't think the added bulk would bother too much ?

The problem with these cases are (especially the cheapy ebay ones) is that they become yellow!!!
Because of the hot/warm battery under heavy usage causes them to become yellow. Otherwise the cases Do perform adequate protection.
I had a clear arguyle case like this on my galaxy s2 and that battery got way hotter while charging that this one. I only had it for a month but i didn't see a yellowish tint. I'm a case fiend so I'm sure in a few weeks ill need to buy a completely different color anyways. So at the price of 6 bucks, I don't mind. sorry for the constant replying. I'm awfully bored at work.

I'm bored at work too lol. Whenever my trident case comes In ill do a review on it and my opinions on it against the cheaper tpu cases

Just ordered one. I have been debating about getting one or not, and finally decided to go for it. I have not had a TPU case since my old blackberry curve 8900

What case/protector are you all using

So I'm shopping for a good case and screen protectors for this thing. Any recommendations?

I've got the otterbox commuter, it's good protection without being to massive.
I went with the Defender case. I removed the screen from the case and installed one of the Xtreme guard screens on the phone and am very happy with the look and feel of the phone. It may seem like a bit much, but after breaking my first phone in under 8 hrs - this was the best fit for me

Cool will probably go with the commuter and xtreme guard. Thanks all

How are the buttons on the commuter? I had the one for the galaxy s3 and they were impossible to press half the time. Are these any better or are they super stiff as well?

Diztronic TPU. I cannot speak highly enough of this case. Cheap, sturdy, doesn't add too much weight/size and, as a bonus, it looks great.

Volume buttons work great, power is stiff as hell. Thinking about cutting the top to have direct access to the power button.

That's odd. I have a mucheasier time pressing the buttons with the case on rather than naked. I am loving my commuter. I don't exactly care for the way the screen protector is smaller than the face of the phone, but i guess that is about the only way to do it with the curved edges. I can honestly say that I hate the curved edges after trying 2 other screen protects and they will not stick.
I went with just the 3 pack of cheap screen protectors -- they do the job and you can easily replace them, and a flexible silicone case (the thin ones) because they absorb impact better than a hard case. It keeps the phone low profile and protected.

I will probably stick it out with the diztronic then. I figured that it might have been improved but it doesn't sound like it. Thanks.
Actually ordered the diztronic. Otterbox looks nice but kinda salty fir my taste at least right now.

One thing I quickly discovered about Diztronic is that the opening around headphone port is pretty small. The chord I use in my car doesn't fit but smaller headphone and computer speaker jacks do. I will try my full-size headphones today at the office.

Qmadix Legacy Case for DNA

This case looks pretty cool. If someone has it, let me know how much bulk it adds to the phone. Looks like it adds quite a bit.

I like the styling of the case more than the "envelope" design on the back of the Otterbox cases. But I don't like the fact that these are only renders of the cases. Show us some actual pictures.
I just got the case, and I actually like it, I normally don't like cases but it seems to feel good on the phone. I posted a few pics of it. The one downfall is that it covers the back notification LED.

the side rubber indents make it grip when holding it, also the middle is recessed but it helps with gripping it, I tend to drop my phone often but havent yet with this one. (had it since day one 11/21) it feels really good, very solid.

Is the inside layer real flexible at all? I've got a skinomi screen protector on and it's too thick for the diztronic case I have. Gonna need a case that can fit over the edges of the screen protector. Thanks for the pics. Beautiful case.

Yes, the outer rim of it is flexible. so it will do just that

Cool TPUish case

Found this after ordering a similar one on Amazon for my friends N5 after I saw the one I ordered for him I was on a mission to find one similar for my DNA and found this one on eBay http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=400403947067 not exactly the same but it'll do. It has a cut out for the back LED which I've yet to get a case that had that. Only gripe I have is that I'm so used to feeling my volume keys underneath a case I have a little issue with this case covering them...basically it'll take some getting use to but all in all good case cheap price sick look black sides and clear hazed back

I dig this one for sure. I use the Seidio Surface which has a cutout for the back LED, also. I might pick one of these up, though. Thanks for the link

A heavy duty, light weight case that doest feel like I have a brick in my pocket.

I currently use the ballistic case. It works well and has saved my phone several times. Does a case exist that offers similar protection but isn't an obtrusive, oversized brick when its in my pocket?
Thanks!

My wife and I have a Seidio Surface on our HTC Dna's. That we're both happy with. Fit's well and offers solid protection, without making the phone look like a brick.

I have one by bodyglove. It's a thin the case with reinforced corners. Doesn't add very much bulk at all.

I don't know who makes it, but day one of owning my DNA, I hit up the verizon store and bought a $20 soft silicone case because I KNEW I would drop my phone. And drop it I have and no damage whatsoever. I love it! It is small, the only issues I have with it are the charging port can be hard to get open (i pulled my charge tab off) and the power button is a tiny bit recessed in the case. Other than that, it has saved my phone from many of my clumsy mishaps and would definitely recommend it
Go to verizon wireless and search for "high gloss silicone cover for htc droid dna blue"
that is about as close as mine as it gets, mine is see through black/brown and on top where the power button is, it is a hole. seeing this case I might go buy that and give it a go.
Hope this helps
I use an Otterbox Commuter and the case isn't very thick and looks super slick in white.
I've been very happy with my Diztronic case. It's smooth without being slick, not too huge either. Strikes a balance between a slim profile and decent protection.
