Sorry to create a new topic, but this one was closed so I create another one.
So I wanted to follow that tutorial to mod GTA III, but quickly got stuck : I can't find any folder called Phone\Android\data\com.rockstar.gta3\files\GTA3\models. All there is in Phone\Android\data\com.rockstar.gta3\files\GTA3 is gta.set, GTAsf1.b, GTAsf2.b and GTAsf9.b. There is also a 1.3GB obb file in the obb folder, maybe everything is in there now.
So what should I do ?
Should I extract files from the obb, and if so, how do I compress them again or do they work uncompressed ? If not, how do I edit the obb ?
I don't think your suppose to post about modding paid apps on here at all... I could be wrong but I'm assuming that's why the last thread was killed

Not sure about that. It was only closed after 11 pages. It also got announced on the portal here.
But if it is forbidden as you say, I accept my thread to be closed too.
Yeah... I'm not sure I could be super wrong but why exactly are you trying to mod it? I purchased it a while back for my Nexus 7 and it ran smooth

It runs smooth on my device too but I find Claude Speed quite ugly.

I didn't know that. But that doesn't solve my problem since Carl is not a lot better than Claude lol.
Anyway, I managed to do some things after uncompressing the obb, but when I play, it seems like the player doesn't have any skin (like all blank with only shadows) and is not in a natural position (like with arms on the ground and the head between the legs). I would not call that a success.
Update on my progress (if I wasn't supposed to double post, please tell me, I'll edit).
Seems like player models from the internet don't work (at least all the ones I tried didn't work), but the ones from the img itself work. I successfully managed to set myself as Misty for example.
There are a few things with paid apps you can't post, if i recall. You can't post the app itself or a modded version of that app, for obvious reasons. You CAN post HOW to mod that app (along with the files needed), as long as that mod does not allow you to get that app for free, circumvent any in-app purchasing, remove In-app ads, or violate any copyrights.

hi all now i make a thread alone for DEV´s about Touchpads at ICS 4.0.4.
Its simple.
Copy from my Rom the Complett System/usr, System/Vendor and check up what files did you need and what you not have at your rom.
you will see There are many files from GB 2.3.4.
Copy the 2 system Ordner to your system.
there modified you dont to do nothing.
What did you more need to get touchpads working.
You must copy from GB:
system/bin/input
system/bin/keystore
System/etc/permission/handheld_core_hardware.jar
System/etc/input-device-display-associations.jar
System/framework/input.jar
System/lib/libhardware.so
System/lib/libhardware_legacy.so
and all what you find at 2.3.4 with playstation and Xperiaplay.

Dungeo Defenders didnt work same as all other games.
only with this mod it works.

Well I am trying it on LuPuS UI which is MIUI on CM9, so if I can get it working then yes it will work for any CM9 based ROM. But I have to get the actual gamepad working first

Well I just did another google search and the official creators said on forum it's been temporarily removed. Damn, wish I kept a backup. Do you know what other free touchpad game I can use to test? I found one called Air Attack or something but it already works in CM9 without mod lol.

Do you have tried blood and glory, it doesn't work on cm9 and it's free.

Sony isn't full of idiots. They could have fixed the problem if they really wanted to. The thing is the money. The Xperia Play didn't sell as well as they wanted, it is too much competition with the Playstation Vita, (not very much though), and people already are using unofficial PSX games on it so they just don't WANT to "fix" the "problem." It's not the best marketing decision for them right now.

I have only tried crazy taxy and its very playable. Just put the nulldc folder in ur sd root. Then u put ur game under discs folder. Here's how game files look like:

This is an apk file. Make sure that in your settings app under security, you have the box for 'unknown sources' enabled

Hmm you were the second guy to mention that. Guess I may have forgotten to sign it?
Here's what you can do in the mean time to fix:
Download zipsigner 2 from the play store and sign the downloaded apk file that won't install. Then try installing the new one
