Well glad to see this thread finally. No words can express our gratitude for Munjeni. Right from porting JB 4.1.2 to this CM 10.2 (4.3), you have given life to our supposed EOL device.
But then again, I would request everyone to not make this thread for personal conversations and unnecessary posts. It's a DEV thread. Let's be highly supportive of Munjeni and test and verify his ROM development at every stage as it goes through completely, I hope.
Let's post proper error logs, non working parts, and NO ETAs for builds.
Cheers.

Hey fxp team the recovery had a error when you are navigating in the menu it moves like how do you say in english... vas navegando en la seleccion y se ve como televison de paga pirata por asi decirlo, the images moves a lot
Did you notice that this is RC0??? It is pretty good
WIFI +
GSM +
Video Playback +
Video Record -
Camera + (no preview but takes pics)
Graphic bug in recovery
Front Facing Camera FCs (attached logcat)
The graphic bug and camera preview seem to be common to other JB builds.

Awesome job fxp . this should be termed beta I guess rather than alpha.. .. Surprised that almost all the basic things are working.. ! And above all this is without doubt the fastest and smoothest android rom ever! Now I am convinced that my Ray is gonna rock with jellybean yummy yummy
update: apart from the bugs already mentioned, music app and gallery app not able to recognize media in sd card ( workaround is installing alternate apps like quickpic and poweramp which are working perfectly)

This is developed for the GSM 8GB version of Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini (GT-I8190), and tested when running I8190XXAMG1 baseband.
I'll only support this model since it's the only one I own, if someone wants to attempt to port this ROM to his model feel free to take my tree as base, but don't expect support from me.
I'll never recommend this rom for daily use, you'll use it at your own risk. I do this because I love to learn lots of things about Android.
Reporting Bugs
If you want to report bugs please read THIS HOWTO first. Please try to provide logs if you see errors (logcat and dmesg). If you don't know how to do that check google or ask people here to help you. Don't contact me directly.

If you turn Airplain mode on / off you will be able to have data (with correct APN settings ).
I can connect to internet fine but I dont have phone(incoming calls) as stated in OP
CM10 Alpha? That sounds great. I will test it after work
Tested for a couple of hours and runs smooth.
Installed also gapps-jb-20121011-signed and there were no problems
To enable data turn airplane mode on and off and you will get APN settings
For the moment two major known issues as stated in OP
- No calls
- USB mounting to read internal and external storage
Keep the good work
to all....please can someone flash my kernel or stock kernel ( you can get from dmod thread) to see if RIL works?? i think that some permission is missing in init.*.rc files..

What is the difference between AOSP and AOSX ?
We have integrated the follow features in AOSP :
BlueZ bluetooth stack
CyanogenMod's SuperUser
CyanogenMod's File Manager
CyanogenMod's BusyBox
OmniROM's Torch
OmniROM Recovery (TWRP)
OmniROM Music Player (Apollo)
OmniROM Equalizer (DSP Manager)
Google Play Store
Linaro 4.10 toolchain
Bugfixes
plus some hardware and development stuff. For more information check our local_manifest.xml.
Why don't you keep it pure AOSP ?
Because our goal is to provide a user friendly and clean ROM. We chose these applications because they are opensource and advertisement free.
I do not like some pre-installed applications, how I can delete them ?
If you do not like them, just uninstall them with a rooted uninstaller like Root Uninstaller.
Feature X is not working or applications Y is force closed, what can I do ?
Usually this kind of problem is due to dirty installation. Please wipe data, cache and dalvik cache.
I found a bug. How do I report it ?
Create a bug report on Bug Tracker and remember to attach a logcat, otherwise your report will be ignored. Also try to attach the log of only the relevant part.
Woohoo!

Wow, awesome! Pure Android!
Congrats to the team... and waiting for the new build with new changes to test....
I've downloaded this rom as it was released, too important to go to sleep . I want to share my first impression on this first morning with this rom. I installed all my apps, some of that restored with TB. The total usability and smoothness is astonishing, i've never see my sola go faster than this. It's even more amazing if you think that this V0 is marked as Alpha by the dev team. The only thing i changed was the system/etc/apns-conf.xml from Git that was updated after this build,in order to have my APN ready since the first boot.
I'm addicted to some CM features, so i installed GravityBox for KitKat and it's going all good as it hooks perfectly with this splendid AOSP
By the way, during the flashing procedure, i faced some problem on the new TWPR...The screen auto lock timeout setting is not working as expected, so you have to be very fast selecting the zip to flash (Sorry Devs, i tried to get a log out of that but i didn't make it ). Anyway, beside the GPS "bug", this rom is amazing!
Thanks Devs!

It's not because it's the same version of the Linux Kernel that this compatible And the ROM is just a port, what is important now is to make things like wifi, etc, working.
Ahahah fantastic man. Great work!

Android Lollipop for Sola using sources provided by Agontuk, so all credits to him. For now nothing works, but we are sure we can make it stable at some point. Any help would be appreciated.
Note: Please don't say "This doesn't work or is it stable for daily use". It's just a preview release so that you can try out lollipop.
INSTALLATION
- Extract boot.img from the zip and flash it via fastboot
- Copy the zip to your SDCard

Thanks!
But I've just 120mb data left.
Anyway,
I'll be switching back to CM11 soon because I need RIL as I don't have WiFi right now.

With this gapps phone gots boot loop. After all, I'm very good surprised about 5.0 , it's fast, really fast, something about 150 mb free ram, of course, many force closes, once I got random reboot, generally it's good rom, if ril will be works, I can be beta tester, damn I like it also something what impress me, battery saver, I know this is Lollipop part, I really miss about stamina mode in all of the kitkats there, it's interesting, I must test it )

ops! I'm sorry dude, but as said, i can't test until few days, so it was possible that gapps i told to try weren't good for this rom
Anyway if someone found a good one i would like to know the link
Cheers
Using it for almost 10 hours now.
As an alpha build, kudos to devs! :victory:
Bluetooth works good.
Audio works flawlessly.
Wifi got disconnected automatically at a point.
The battery is good. I think its just because of no RIL.
RIL doesn't work. Even a little as mentioned.
As expected, the UI is laggy.
No root access.
There's no lockscreen wallpaper.
And a lot of bugs!
Very eager to try this out. Thanks!
good work bro and many thanks for you keep going to get fully version working in all
Reserved
:good: Congrats!
Really nice to see, that Sola is still alive and booted in Lollipop.
I'm watching this thread like a hawk! my wife has the Go and apart from it having a low rez screen the phone is damn amazing!!!
awesome to see the phone getting lollipop. just basic AOSP and she'll be over the moon.
many thanks to the dev for the work put in!
Nice to see 5.0 running on my SOLA. Thanks
