Guys I really need help , recently bought a Momo ployer mini 7.9

It's performance is ok but it has crashed on me a couple of times and the browser is really laggy.
Despite its specs its not performing as it should be and there is a google service thingy that's taking up 36% of my battery and I can't force stop it or etc which is dam irritating
Does anyone know how I can root my tablet? Or how I can stop the google service or how I can speed up my quad core tablet and make it perform?

ever get anywhere with this? I picked up a similar device but the dual core for work while in china and I'd love to put AOSP on it not sure where to start

I've bought the same phone and have the same problem.... and I'm already sending mine back to exchange for a proper MT6575 phone. I suspect the phone doesn't contain the MT6575 chip, is actually running on Gingerbread with an ICS theme, scored only 1800 in Antutu, etc.... I suggest you check yours, download Z-Device and see any inconsistency with the specs.
You might wanna take a look at this russian forum and their discussion on this phone...

I recently, by mistake bought a replica of Galaxy Nexus which run on a 1.2ghz Mediatek processor as per Antutu tester (it also show the manufacturer as Samsung and model name as Galaxy nexus ). Its a Dual SIM phone running 4.0.2 and also identifies SIM card and network but does not make calls ? Seems its country lock..how to unlock it? It also does not have Gapps installed in it? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I'd say Meizu phones are the best of the Chinese phone lot. Meizu MX is really nice, though a tad iPhone-y.

Hello, how are. Well tell them that I'm brand new to android so I know understand, if this happen to some other thread, just let me know. It turns out that a few weeks ago to buy a mobile named: HDC Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 mtk6588 to 1.4ghz, 1g ram, 8gb rom, 16 gb sd, 8mpx cam, 2mpx front cam, 4.8 inch lcd. The truth is a great phone for me at least a passing Omnia 2 has this. The point is that as desconosco were unaware even android and I wanted to root as the play google told me he had updates for some applications, at that time I did not know use SuperSU benia already installed, and I had no better idea to follow a statute root of this type of phone, but for mtk 6575-6577. and so I did, the point is that now tells me I have 480 MB RAM and 1GB, 2GB rom and 8GB, 2GB sd and 16gb ARMv7 processor (VFPv3, Neon), and not a mtk 6588. Wifi does not work, or the camera or bluetooth, if the 3g and data. I learned to use the tool and flash recovery mode, I tried as much ROM for this type of mobile found, of course whenever with mtk6575 but the flash tool or update. zip I get errors. Firmware for Mtk6588, there is on the web at least I did not find it. It is not more to do, so I turn to you to see if there is a solution, or simply lost mobile. From already thank you very much and forgive the scroll.

I bought Maxsun M81 Tablet Pc from ownta.com in 2012. Sweet device but no google market and awful, slow performance.
I have been searching for 2-3 months but no custom or new official rom. Finally I found that Maxsun M81 and Teclast P85a is absolutely same device like a twins.
And I tried Oma's "RK2918 Tab Odys-Loox rocks with ICS". Wovvvvv my tablet shines. Now I have only some screen rotation problem. The other all things including wi-fi, camera, etc are working well without problems. Finally I have google market. I dont know why but now screen contrast and color depth are better. BTW tablet performance is considerable increased. I will try other Teclast P85a compitable roms. And I will write results here. Maybe it may be help other Maxsun M81 owners.

I am an owner of a maxsun m81 tablet. First of all, thank you for your info... it will be really helpfull. But there are some things i would like to ask you. Have you triyed any rom over 4.0.4? Have you found any site/link of the manufactor? I m triying to find anything "official" but there is no such thing... something else, did you have problems with your wifi connection? Mine is falling all the time. Something else i would like to tell you is that here in greece this model is under brand name (turbo x spice iii) and there is no way to get any update/upgrate from the company that sells it as that....... i would like to have an official update from maxsun but i am afraid thats a dream....

First off I can't play family guy the quest for stuff or Simpsons tapped out they just crash family guy quest for stuff just loads no opening video like its suppose too. It starts out with if u know family guy peter saying he forgot his buttscratcher so he only did a partial wipe bonnie,Chris, and peter are just walking around. Quagmire is in front of his house shaking a rooster in bottle but I've never played on the tablet before any way when I tap on the screen it just crashes I've uninstalled, reinstalled,cleared cache/data etc rebooted etc factory rest even and still the same thing
Simpsons tapped out just crashes period nothing happens
Is there anyway rooting will help/ putting in new ROM etc will help this? If so what would work on this tablet since its an off brand? I can sadly play both of these with lag and crashes sometimes on Motorola droid2 global rooted but its low processor power it lags etc lol so its frustrating but I can still play these on Samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 dual core tablet even a Samsung galaxy s5 4.4.2 same os is as the simban sx2w just not the simban sx2w tablet is there a reason why? sorry for lengthy message wanted to explain exactly so sorry in advance Any help is greatly appreciated thanks

This is more of a repost from one i made on cyanogenmod forums yesterday, but there have been no response so i hope someone here knows. as im getting desperate.
Been looking around trying to find a way for me to get cm12 on my lenovo tab
I have no idea on how to make my own rom from source, tried watching youtube vids with no more knowlege, feels like i have less to be honest :/
Been looking at some videos for porting roms, is this something anyone got any experience from?
Is it so that i just download any rom, make a back up rom from the tablet and copy the files from the vidoes like they do an ill have a tablet runing cm 12 afterwards?
Or is this a dead project?
Not i cant really afford a better tablet atm, had a nexus 9 but sold it to buy this and get my car fixed :/

No that doesn't work. You have to have a kernel that that works for your device and to be honest with that chip set you will be hard pressed to make it work.
that sucks, as im not good with these things i really got no hope then, guess ill just have to wait and hope someone else has this tablet and knows a fix.
Sucks to have a crappy tablet the next months

Hi,
I'm also frustrated by this tablet, mainly because the multi-user option is disabled After fooling around trying to "fix" this option, it is now stuck in a bootloop
Wipe data/factory reset in the recovery does not resolve the problem
Were you wise enough to store the original ROM file? If so, could you publish it?

Also the specs and kernel 3.10.49 are the same as the Yoga tab 3
