ive downloaded it but still cant use it maybe bbm server prob
It's working fine no problem with me.
At startup first time it shows error but now everything is fine transfer file photo and chats adding friends via qr code everything is working.

i didnt found BBM cool than what' app....what's app is the best...but BBM is secured which is only reason peoples r using it......

Yeh thats true there ia nothing special in bbm it is same as those another messagers. Actualy using a messager is only enjoyful when u r using 3G In 2G there is no use of messager.

Not a big issue...
Goggles always did work on ARM v6... using it since its launch... however we cannot download it from market due to some of google's "wisest" policies. btw, most people dont know that those market apps which shows not supported, are actually supported and working, just one need to download it from other sources. and i think the number of those other sources are quite high... however, sharing is welcome, as it is a free app.
UC Browser too is supported, but play store says not compatible....by the way, great share.

the app works since version 1.8 on our phone and the 1.8 version is much better,because it has no spam popups,and when in new version a logo from copyright firms/brands/bands shown on the pic what u have maked for googles it wont work,because there comes copyright warning and something and it collect userdata en masse from your phone(its google).i prefer version 1.8.
This is the worst app from Google.... Never find it useful...

if none of previous solutions worked, then maybe your in a UNAVAILABLE country like me. i'm in iran and we're denied using play store. so that i should use VPN and Market unlocker(or going airplane mod) to make it work.

Where do you live? Google service is unavailable in many countries like Pakistan,iran,Bangladesh.....im from Bangladesh and im facing this problem too. Govt keep blocking Google until they removed the video from YouTube.

Do you have this problem with Wi-fi, 3G or both? If it's over wi-fi, maybe the network has a restriction on Google Services. I can't access any google app using the wifi at my college, buy at home I have no issue.

First for all this is not my development. All credits goes to the above member..
I just made the changes by decompiling it and then recompiling it and got it working on Note2 240 DPI...

I am running a stock rooted rom and tried install the emai mod, first time i forgot to et permissions so email app dint open...then i fixed the permissions in the ROOT explorer and rebooted again but it aint opening still...it says unfortunately email has stopped...
so wat can i do to fix it mate or wat have i done wrong?

Delete. Odex file first and then replace it. Set permissions and reboot..

And there is light.... Thanks mate.. Now it works... Everytime I do something with the beast I learn something new and amazing.... But is it really 240 dpi cuz I can't really see any difference between this one and the stock One.... I also ran paranoidandroid for a few days on 240 dpi and this email app doesn't look like that... Or maybe be I'm getting old

So it was yesterday when bbm was released in india and I fetched the apk from google but it dosent seem to work on arm v6...Maybe I am wrong but plz can u devs figure out a solution ? it would be very thankful of you if you did it..plz reply as soon as possible and I will pm you the link

I have talked to darshcracker who is a dev who ports armv7 games to armv6 ... maybe he can help.
But even I am going through tutorials and trying to convert the app
RIM has not released the app on playstore yet, there are only fake ones over there.
They stopped the release because a leaked version of the app was posted online, it works but they will be disabling it soon and everyone who downloaded it will have to reinstall the official app later.

Is it possible to offline install the android sources? °°~~

@Faiyaz5yaz What do you mean offline install? The sources are online so one way or other you're gonna have to get them off the web and onto your computer. The only other option is using a build server, if you have access to one. How unstable is your connection? when you sync the sources, you can stop it and start again from where you left off whenever you want, you don't have to do it in one go.
@HTCDreamOn i mistyped it.. I mean i hav limited Internet connection.. I can't download 30+ gb source file.. Is it possible to port from my friends pc to mine? Syncing is not a prob i can do it

Well as I said you could still sync it in stages, although if you're limited to 500MB a month or something then it'll take years. You can only use a friends source if its the same device... Otherwise you could always copy it over, then create a new directory and use the repo init -reference command to use the existing files, then you'd have to download far less.

Well you just sync all the sources into one directory, so if you're saying your friend doesn't mind downloading 10GB+ of stuff and you don't mind transferring 10GB of stuff over somehow, then yeah that should work fine.

Yeah 32GB is plenty, but you'll need over 30GB free on your computer to build it.
