samsung note ii with gear .. such a headache samsung app gone - Galaxy Note II Themes and Apps

i installed rom for my note 2 by following http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=46642823
sweet rom v9 mi6 4.3 is nowhere to be found so i chose pacman which failed and then illusion rom was chosen.
but i cannot pair with gear no matter what...it just stays loading but nothing happens
then i tried different ways of downloading gear manager (apk vs zip through cwm) some ppl said its on google play but it isnt.
eventually it was installed through cwm N7100_SWEET_V9_GalaxyGear_install_by_not-i
but it doesnt connect to gear no matter what... (0/19 installed) probably due to the lack of samsung app.
but when i do install samsung app and tap my phone to the cradle, it doesnt find the gear manager in samsung gear bc its not the right samsung app store (error 4002 likely bc its not a 4.3 store, not sure)
so i tried installing all 19 manually (http://www.mediafire.com/folder/m6ldp4k0d9xrq/GearApp)
i was guessing on which ones i needed (presumably mostly ones starting with samsung.android)
SAMusicProvider is the only one that cannot be installed for some reason (error: App not installed)
SAPedometerSettingProvider gives an error message during startup.
what to do? thanks!!

Dude, you should have posted on Q&A.. But I might help you as well. Try Dr.Ketan's rom for the leak 4.3.

1. why you don`t say, that you have a AT+T Phone ? Does it have the official Type Number N-7100?
2. Why you ask before flashing anyone, as this ROM is compatible with AT+T Phones?
3. of course, Samsung Gear is made for use with Galaxy Note 3 and S4, so it´s clear, that you must run a TW 4.3 firmware
4. Do you read something about 4.3 bootloader? So, you have to be a bit carefully with installing any firmwares at 4.3 without having knowledge about this......
5. read the instructions at dr.ketans OP of leaked 4.3 mj2 firmware do get out of knox bootloader, if you have flashed this allready.....
The best thing ist, to make a fully clean install of an 4.3 leak of the NEWEST GENERATION (dr.Ketans V3 or Hurricane v4), so they are most stable and are able to run Note 3 stuff on it, or wait for an official release of 4.3 FW, but I`m not sure, that samsung implements the support of Samsung Gear. out of Marketings sight it would be clever, but Sasmsung wants to sell Note 3`s now

Hey dude, you are referring to other variant of Note 2? The 4.3 rom is actually only available for N7100 or international variant of Note 2 of rnow. And Galaxy gear is still not compatible for CM or AOSP roms, but correct me if I'm wrong.
So for now, you need to wait for the official (or leak) Samsung 4.3 rom for your variant before you can use Galaxy gear, unless CM mods for galaxy gear will be made.
So tough luck.

That is what I meant.. only the N7100 Note 2 version has the 4.3 rom that is compatible with the galaxy gear. As of now, other variants of note 2 still dont have the 4.3 rom that is compatible with the gear.
The gear is not compatible still with other roms other than samsung.. only samsung 4.3 roms are known to be compatible.

im saying i was able to install and use 4.3 on my phone already...

What rom exactly are you using now? I told you, if it is not samsung rom, it is still not compatible yet. That 4.3 rom you are using probably is CM based. As of now, no mod for CM roms are created for galaxy gear compatibility.

ok i used pacman and illusion 4.3... obviously not samsung. if you are saying that 4.3 works everywhere except gear then thats what i experienced.
but another person on this suggested dr.ketan 3 and hurrican 4, would either work? should i try? right now i am back at factory settings with cwm ready to go.

Pacman and illu roms are CM based. Dr. Ketan and hurricane is samsung. BUT! Those are only for N7100 or the international variant of note 2. As of now other variants like your are stuck on 4.1.2 samsung or 4.3 CM.
Meaning, you still cant use your phone to be compatible with gear. You either have to wait for the 4.3 samsung for your variant or maybe someone can make a mod for CM roms to be compatible for the gear. Have patience.
BTW, others have tested flashing dr ketan on a nonN7100 phone, works but only no phone signal. So if it is ok to you if your phone has no mobile signal, then you can try on your own risk.

Hurricane will be the same result.. because modems on different variants are different. Thats why if you flash rom that is not for your variant, you will lose signal.

i chose mi6 as opposed to mj2 and mg1... its not getting any mobile data...it says insert sim when there is a sim inside..
im seeing no data whatsoever not just weak signals.. should i try the other two? do i have to reflash the hurricane or can i just change it from within?

update: just tried mj2 and didnt work either. i guess i can affirm that there is no signal whether u use dr. ketan or hurrican (((((((((((((((((((((((( guess i have to wait
so how do i go back just redo the factory odin or is there some other faster way

HOLD ON ....you are clearly doing stuff blindly .....First of all before flashing anything to your phone READ ABOUT IT ....
There is A HUGE difference between AOSP romss ( CM .-pac- illusion -slimbean ..etc) and SAMSUNG roms ....google it...it would take much time explaining
i read the the next stuff but can't confirm it my self so i am not responsible
someone confirmed that gear work with the leaked 4.3 mi and mj roms ..
the big difference between n7100 and n7105 is the modem part ... so flash the mi6 rom hurrican or dr.ketan that's ur personal preference .. then flash n7105 modem ..that should make the signal work
and again PLEASE READ BEFORE DOING ANY OF THESE STEPS
