Hi all,
I have several other Android devices at home, all of them runing CM7 or CM9. While I appreciate some of the things the Motorola ROM (GSM here) delivers, I'm missing quite a bit as well:
- grid size on home screen - having 3 widgets fills out completely a screen; I'm looking for a 50% or 100% increase in rows and columns. DPI changer is not able to provide that
- battery reporting is only done in 10% increments; I'm using Circle Battery Widget as a workaround
- no way to toggle 2G/3G with a switch. Using notification toggle because I cannot live without status bar toggles
- provider name is too long in the status bar
- no way to tweak auto light levels
- lock screen does not display any info about missed calls or messages
- notification led does not have any settings
- cannot assign custom shortcuts or wakeups - like pressing both volume buttons to open camera from lock
- no way to change the number of screens in home
- widgets do not get updated after an install, I need to kill the launcher first
- stock gallery looks really sad and performs slowly on zoom
- there is no "charge only" option beneath the usb/mtp/ptp
- no color themes for home screen, so I can use darker colors for power saving
- no themes for email widget, same reason
- email widget uses a lot of power (partial wake) even though the accounts are set to sync once per hour
- I don't see any way to take HDRs with the stock camera app. I thought this was default in ICS
- cannot use any other external sound equalizer - tried mostly with DSPManager
- stock music app does not wake on bluetooth control; if it's paused for more than 30 seconds I need to open it again to be able to resume music
- stock equalizer messes up the volume of the music pretty bad and it compresses the sound
- cannot assign a long press on the back button to kill the current app
On the other hand there are some new custom features which I really like, like the 'disable' application button, smart actions, detailed data usage and data limits, disabling background data, ...
So my question is, how can I enable some of the stuff above without losing a lot of battery life, money or UI integration (I'm thinking metro-like simplistic looks).
I'm also missing the option to disable individual permissions for apps, but the "disable background data" built-in feature fulfills 80% of this. I would have loved to be able to disable location awareness for some apps.
Right now the biggest gripe is the 10% step on battery reporting, I cannot get accurate battery stats. Still, that part is in part filled by BetterBatteryStats.

What is Sense Toolbox?
Sense Toolbox module contains a large variety of mods that will improve almost every aspect of your Sense device. You have to have Xposed Framework installed to use these mods. For more info about Xposed refer to the original thread.
A note about compatibility. We can't test the mods on every other ROM. But as long as the ROM is near stock without major changes, it should work there too.
How to use the Toolbox?
First you must have Xposed Framework installed. After that enable Sense Toolbox module in Xposed Installer, set up mods you like and tap 'Soft Reboot' icon to apply them.
Backup functionality
Toolbox supports settings backup and restore using local backup on SDCard (button next to Soft Reboot).
Troubleshooting
List of solutions to a common problems is posted on official Sense Toolbox website. You can also send detailed report with the description of your problem from Toolbox itself or create new issue on our issue tracker.

First you must have Xposed Framework installed. After that enable the Sense 5 Toolbox module in the Xposed Installer, set up mods you like and tap 'Soft Reboot' icon to apply them.
You can also reorder EQS tiles using drag'n'drop on Sense versions prior to 5.5. Select EQS reorder option in Toolbox, tap a tile to remove it, use a '+' icon at the top to add new tile. Tap save icon when you're done.
Backup functionality
Toolbox supports settings backup and restore using local backup on SDCard (button next to Soft Reboot).
EQS Backup function
Due to the nature of ROM flashes you will loose your custom order on every flash. A backup will be made at every save of the order to overcome that. Start the app and tap the clock icon at the top to restore your order after a ROM flash, then save and soft reboot. Backup is saved to your internal storage. Note that it will be removed if you uninstall Toolbox, or do a factory reset. You can probably save it with the usual backup tools or save the Android/data/com.langerhans.one/ folder on your SDCard.

Downloaded version trough xposed and from what I can see there is only a stock vs none option for battery icon though there seems to be a ack for icons of the battery pack. Am I getting it wrong somehow?

No, M7 works too. What app you are trying to change? It will obviously work only with apps that support HTC themes.

As you can see from this huge list there is virtually nothing that you can't theme or mod. A little bit of playing around with this mod will allow you to have your device exactly the way you want it.

Works for some but not all. Try using Triangle Away if Wanam doesn't work.

I was going to flash another ROM but I figured I'd give e exposed a try. With all the modules available I can get almost everything I want without even changing from the stock ROM. Gets a little confusing with all the different settings but fun and works great for me. Jesse

The Wanam Xposed ROM isn't even supported by the developer for it anymore! That's how old this is...
Every Touchwiz user with xposed uses Wanam.

Working tether Verizon s4 on NC5
Hey All,
I'm sure other's already know this, but i couldn't find a working method in the threads to enable wireless tethering for my wife's Verizon S4 (NC5, rooted / stock / Deodexed).
I installed the Xposed framework installer,rebooted.

Then in downloads section, downloaded the "X Tether" module by dymmeh.
I installed, in modules section-activated, rebooted... and bingo!!

This is not working. on Verizon Note 3, 4.4.2 NC2, and the persistent data icon is always on.
Wanam isn't disabling it. Wanam also thinks it is disabled, because wanam shows it on or off as I mark it.
Any idea how I can remove the persistent 4GLTE icon?
