[Q] Completely reset i9100

Hello,
i really tried to find answers around before asking.
I have tryed different roms on my i9100, cm7, cm9, rr, miui. Now i have a tonn of folders from apps that are not even installed on my phone. Now what i want is to get rid of all the trash in my phone, like leftovers from apps i installed with previous roms and make a clean install of cyanogenmod 9.1.
How do i do that?
I would really appreciate any help. Tutorials, links, everything you guys can give to help me out.
Thank you
full wipe, install cm9, erase internal sd card
I normally do the wipes in cwm and format usb storage.
do the following and nothing of the old files will be left.
reboot to recovery
wipe data
wipe cache
mount and storage
format cache
format system
format data
mount cache
mount system
mount data
flash the rom
wait for the installation

Do this step by step :
1. to format internal and external mmc, connect your phone in mass storage mode and format each drive with windows format tool (right click on drive icon -> format)
2. to format flash memory go to recovery wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalviq cache
3. Install rom

So, you are sure, that will work 100% ?
i dont know, what that means :
"NOTE:
This ROM is only compatible with the included kernel and with one of the kernel which are available via OTA Updater!
I am sorry, but i am really new in this scene.

So, i tried it, and it wont work.
after the installation of cMIUI he gets stuck on the loading screen.
I even have the phone started the whole night because I thought that it may take a little longer
go to recovery press power + volume up + home key at the same time. try cleaning the cache, then go to advanced and clean daavik cache, reboot. it may go through.
if it does not just reflash again, sometimes the first flash did not complete properly.

you did not follow instructions properly.
to correct it.
go recovery format the internal sd by going to mounts and storage and format cache, system, data and internal storage.
and then flash the rom again.
after the phone reboots the first time reboot it again the instructions state.
what happen is you have 2 different versions of firmware on your phone becuase you did not do a proper formating. It is causing the boot loop.

did you look under mounts and storage.
you should have 2 different storage options on for internal which is on the phone and external which is the sdcard that you can remove from the phone.

Why are you even trying to flash your phone without even knowing if you have the 'i' version or not?
Are you telling me you never thought to check 'About phone' prior to flashing?
C'mon people, i'm not being funny but stupidity like this is getting boring to read through now!

[Q] Unreadable Internal Partition

Hello All,
I recently came across a rather annoying error on my Galaxy Ace (GT-S5830i), after using it the phone decided to turn itself off without any warning and restarted in recovery mode without any interaction from me. I then told the phone to restart as I had no reason to be in the recovery mode, however it then began "Boot-Looping" and would not turn on, Recovery Mode and Download Mode still function as normal. After an hour of it stuck boot-looping I decided to flash a new ROM (JellyBlast V3.0.3) this completed sucessfully according to Clockworkmod, I then rebooted and it still continued to Boot-Loop. So i then rebooted and selected Wipe Data/reset. The Log showed the error I was waiting for it read as follows.
-- Wiping Data...
Formatting /data
Error mounting /data!
Skipping Format
Formatting /cache..
Formatting /sd-ext..
Formatting /sdcard/.android-secure..
Data Wipe Complete
After Seeing that it was failing to mount the data Partition I went to the Mounts and Storage Option and tried mounting the data partition there "Mount Failed"
Does anybody know why it can't mount that specific partition or how to erase the NAND and manually Re-Partition it? I've tried ODIN to no luck.
Using Linux Ubuntu 12.04LTS
Thank you for taking the time to read this
PS I've attached a photo of the Log given by CWM
Try to format with stock recovery.

Flash stock rom and than go to stock e3 recovery and wipe everything.

Have you use .pit file and tick repartition? If yes than you may have a hardware problem.

The problem isn't with flashing ROMs, its the internal partitions that are corrupt.

I've used the .pit and Selected Repartition, I've read on another page somewhere that you can use adb shell and then use FDISK to repair the partition as I suspect that an application I installed caused the error, howeve I keep getting "Permission Denied" despite being rooted?
U could use Droid explorer. Not sure it has the format command though... But has plenty commands may get u to have root access from adb shell may be...

Your internal storage is in /data/media so when you wipe your data your internal is gone, however your SDCard wont be(self explanitory), you dont need to change any settings to wipe
You do need to wipe your SD from your device which you can do from storage menu

What if i want fullwipe all?
When i wipe with cwm, the data/media exists also after fullwipe.
Any scripfts for wiping all and make clean reflash?

data/media is your internal storage
if you want a total clean reflash use flashtool as it reinstalls all the partitions
