Air view lock screen preview thing - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

Is there any way to change how and what appears when you hover your hand over your locked phone?

system settings > my device > lock screen > unlock effect
After turning it off though I noticed the stuttering after I unlocked the phone suddenly disappear.

My initial post was a bit confusing. I meant the Air Gesture - Quick Glance. Is it possible to change that through a mod?

[Q] ASOP Lock screen - Call lock screen?

I am running DL30, Superclean.
This has the ASOP Lock screen, whic I like. However, when a call comes in, it reverts to to "Puzzle" Lockscreen, showing who is calling and "Silence", "Answer", and "Ignore" puzzle pieces that I have to move to an empty puzzle piece.
Is there such a thing as an ASOP looking Call lock screen? If so, are there any themes that are using it? Is there any other way to implement this?
Thanks!
Goto menu > settings > display settings > unlock screen and change from puzzle to glass unlock.
Exactly what I wanted.
Thanks!

[Q] CM7: Not getting a lock screen

I recently flashed the latest version of Cyanogenmod on my g tablet and I love it. Everything works great except one thing...
There's no lock screen that appears when I wake it up or turn it on. It skips the unlock gesture, and the lock pattern that I set. I don't care about the first unlock so much as the second, since this thing has my google account information in it.
Has anyone run into this? I've checked every Cyanogenmod setting and regular Android setting I can think of:
CM Settings: Lockscreen Settings: General: Style Options: Rotary
: Lockscreen Gestures: None checked
Locations & Security Settings: Screen Unlock: Use Visible Pattern: Checked
: Change Screen Lock: Pattern set
Any ideas?
ETA: I should also add that the tablet doesn't seem to go to sleep on its own. I've changed the setting for screen off to 5 minutes.
Have you tried Settings --> CyanogenMod Settings --> Tablet Tweaks --> Disable Lockscreen?

Face palm. Thank you. I didn't think to look there. That was the problem.

[Q] Swipe to unlock

I just recently updated to 5.0.1 through a forced OTA which I'm still not happy about. With the recent changes to the lock screen notifications I'm not encountering a irritating problem. Before when I got an SMS and would normally select it from the lock screen and it would bring me to the SMS app and display the message. Now when I select the same notification I get an extra 'swipe to unlock' with an empty box. I prefer to have a swipe lock screen so that I don't pocket dial, no security concerns. Is there a way to remove this extra step without permanently disabling the lock screen as a whole? Thank you in advance.

It is possible to unlock the pattern screen without the pattern

I have a sunia, stock 5.1. It has pattern activated on the lock screen. Sometimes it is possible to unlock it without the pattern.
How did I do it?
I leave a notification on the lock screen, I swipe fast (from right to left) to dismiss it. Then I swipe from bottom to top and phone unlocks. Usually this has to be done in one fast movement.
Another way is having a music player notification (I tried with soundcloud). On the lock screen, drag from top to bottom. The notification gets bigger. Pull the quick settings panel a couple of times, then touch the notification and the phone unlocks without the pattern.
Can you guys try this and see and confirm it?

Click to collapse
For hidden notifications, go to settings > lockscreen > notifications > hide content
For face unlock, settings > lockscreen > facial recognition
