Hi guys! I recently purchased a new battery hoping that it would solve my battery problem with my unrooted, stock, sgh-i777. I heard that rooting and installing a rom could improve battery life and performance greatly. I currently get 5-6 hours with little to no usage. If I were to root and install a cusom rom, what rom do you suggest I use for battery life?
If you are accustomed to stock and would like to continue with the Samsung Touchwiz type interface, then Cooked, with AJK v4.9 kernel, or SHOstock3 v4.0 are both stable and have developers who are still active here. When configured correctly, the phone should drain about 1% per hour on idle.

one noob question, sorry if someone have ask before. I'm currently with lite'ning v5.0 KG6, can I flash this kernel T27 with v5.0 KG6? My battery life drain like hell, would it be better with this kernel T27? Or T26 better? Anyone comment?Thx..
I have the same problem before on litening kg6 what i did is drain all the juice of my battery and charge it again and wipe battry stats on cwm..hope it helps.

Hey guys! I've been tinkering with other custom roms and ended with CM7. They all consume a lot of battery even if im just on CF-root kernel. So know i'm planning to go back to stock ROM so what would you guys recommend? KI3, KI8, KG6 etc..? I just want to enjoy the stock rom experience before going back to CM7
How about trying out ninphetamine 2.1.3? That is what I have been told. If you get something else better, please share.
You say stock so KI3 or KI8 .
But 90% of battery drain is user.

Hey guys, i've been testing RessurectionRemix now and love it, battery life is fantastic and so on (i installed the stock kernel as someone suggested in the post)
I have some questions, does siyah kernel work on this rom ? (and is it better than stock? more battery life?)
Another question i have, i feel like the phone is getting hotter than before when its in use, going up to 46°c is that normal ? (used to not go over 36°c)

I searching the best rom for battery in this terminal. I tested the lastest firmware and the battery is draining, reinstalled older firmware i fixed this, but i test it other roms and the autonomy is the similar or little worst. Any suggestion?
Its your battery which is liable for it.. stock ROMs are mostly stable if u have it flashed . Check your battery health
Has anyone been able to get the UniversalAuth Face Unlock working at all on any custom ROM or stock ROM? I tried it on Lineage unsuccessfully and wanted to see if it works on any other firmware. I'm trying to get a good mix of battery life and features because Lineage has great battery life but not many features and Evolution X has terrible battery life but a lot of features.
