[Q] Feature Request - Vertical scroll drawer - Themer General Discussion

I did not see it anywhere else on this forum but is there anywhere we can submit feature request? On Nova Launcher I really enjoy the vertical scrolling of the app drawer, not sure how many others like it.

[Q] Tap to Hide Icons/Widgets??

Is there any launcher/Mod or app or way to do this?? I mean on launcher screen you tap twice (double-click) to hide icons and all the stuff on the screen, So only wallpaper shows?? I have this feature on my desktop (with Fences Pro). Thanks!
Don't think so, no. Maybe some day, but I don't see it happening any time soon as not many people see usefulness in it.

Yeah but there are lots of features in many android apps that have little usefulness to them..
Anyway that would be cool to have, For now I have solved it by using Nova Launcher Prime and putting all my icons in the scrollable dock.

That's what I've always done. I like having my home screen just show the wallpaper and nothing else. I agree that such a 'show desktop' kind of option will be nice, but like I said I don't think it'll happen anytime soon.

App Drawer Features

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the best place for this, but I was just hoping to provide some feedback and requests. I saw on your blog that you're working on the app drawer, among other things.
I would love to have the options for vertical continuous scrolling in the app drawer and/or a sortable list view. Most launchers have these options in addition to the horizontal paging. Personally, I usually prefer the vertical scrolling, but I also really like the list view in TouchWiz (with options to jump to a specific letter with one-click along the right).

Wallpaper Scrolling Suggestion

I was thinking it be a good idea to disable wallpaper scrolling since there are a lot of themes that want to take advantage of shortcuts on the home screens so this seems like a small feature that can be implemented easily (well at least to me lol)

[LAUNCHER][NO ROOT] Xperia launcher alternative

Hi folks,
Bored of stock Xperia launcher?
Here's the best alternative, Lawnchair.
Google play version is outdated but you'll find latest update here: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/delet...627-ci-q-merge-android-apk-download/download/
You will need Lawnfeed to enable Google left panel: https://lawnchair.app/lawnfeed/?ref=lawnchair
Enjoy
I like the way that Lawnchair Launcher looks overall, but I do not like that I can not hide the dock. I prefer having a full screen look where possible.
I like it but I don't like the clock, I wish you could get rid of that and use your own..

What???
No clock nor dock...
You should try the settings ?

in the settings. I did not see anything for hiding either dock or clock. I must have missed something or it simply did not jump out and bite me to make it obvious as to what was needed to be done.
Edited to correct misspelling.

Dock, first option.
Delete the clock like any widget, long press it and move on delete option.

I went into the Dock settings and I saw nothing that said "Hide Dock".
I have Nova Launcher now and I can Peek a Boo the dock with a swipe gesture so that it is not always present and disappears when not needed.
That is what I am looking for here. Am I missing something here?
Hey great, thanks for pointing that out...have a look at what I've done...if Lawnchair 2 did a clock like that I would be happy...or if you could mod the clock, colour it, resize it, change the padding around it, and the icons for the weather....so I could make it look like that..
Either way, it looks a million times better than the Xperia launcher so thanks for the advice...
Happy to be able to create folders in the app drawer.
Anybody knows how to get rid of the white line below the dock?

Via adb, you could try:
wm overscan 0,0,0,-30
And to revert:
wm overscan 0,0,0,0
Bear in mind that this simply moves the nav bar below the bezel, some full screen apps react differently to this. Good luck.
I also like the Lawnchair Launcher a lot, but it cannot work with gestures navigation without quickswitch magisk moudle, which is pity like all other launchers

So you just installed Lawnchair with Google News Feed and the default Android 10 Gesture Navigations still works without installing any additional software?

I'm sorry that I forgot this is Xperia 1 ll thread, So glad to see that Xperia 1 II can finally use third-party launchers with navigation gestures. I still can't do that with Xperia 1 55.1.A.8.1 firmware.:crying:

Are you using Good Lock and all its modules? It actually lets you do quite a bit while still being "OEM"?

Have you found a way to have gesture shortcuts? That's the one thing I miss with Nova. Doing those 2 finger swipes, double tap swipe when on the launcher screen. Haven't seen anything in goodlock that CNA mimic that

Closest thing is One Hand Operation + module.
One of the many wallpapers (thank you r/Amoledbackgrounds)
And thanks for the Iconpack (OneUI Dark) @justnewdesigns
Why are people moving away from nova?
Kept the original icons just but made them adapt to the wallpaper color. Found these wallpapers to be so good
