Yes, it showed up on mine after a system update. They call it SketchBook for Galaxy, but it looks identical to Sketchbook Pro.

Looks different to me. I realize the layout may just make it appear to have more features, but I'd like to know for sure. I'm trying to spend all my galaxy perks before they expire.
sketchbook has updated since that video and looks more like the galaxy version. i don't know the version numbers of each current app.

Hi all, I have been using Note Everything Pro (and Evernote) on my GT-I9100 phone.
I recently got a GT-P7511 tablet.
Is there anyway I can benefit from the S-pen (and/or the S-memo app) on my newly acquired tablet?
Since I do not see the S-memo app ported for the 7511, is there a point in buing the S-pen to be used with Note Everything Pro on the 7511?

I don't believe the samsung tablet 10.1 tablet would benefit from the s-pen due to the lack of pentile display.. You would have to use a stylus for the tablet.. I hope this answers your question..
Just checked Samsung App on my Note2 with stock 4.3 FW
and under GALAXY Essentials category there is "Polaris Office 5" available for our phones just like new "S Note 3" version.
However after the installation there are now two offices from Polaris on our phone.
Also this could mean that there is 4.4.2 coming where we should get preinstalled both S Note 3 and Polaris Office 5
I have installed the Polaris Office 5 a while ago, the S4 apk was leaked here on xda, works fine for me. But i like OfficeSuite more, i have lots of powerpoint files, and OfficeSuite displays them better.
Now that the official MS Office for Android is free, these other Office suites aren't going to be able to compete.

No mate Its also available for galaxy S3 . its not mean that KK is also coming for S3..
Any idea on how to use S Pen on S9/S9+? I am Ok to use even a similar one.

Likely not an option. The screen doesn't have the corresponding technology to receive S-Pen input. Note 8, Chromebook Pro/Plus, and probably the S Tab 3 use a technology in the screen as well as the pen.
Thank you for the update. But are there any other options not necessarily S Pen?
I am using the galaxy s9 plus and if I add an activity using nova launcher, under Samsung DeX there is an activity called s pen input mode, calls on com.android.launcher3.settings.SPenInputModePrefer enceActivity, and when activated pops up permission denied. Maybe there is some sort of hope?

I'm an artist and recently bought an s9 because my s7 broke.
My husband loves having the newest phone and bought a note 9 and I must say I was very jealous of his SPen... even though a note 9 is not practical for me because it's too large!
He bought me a stylus from Amazon. Works great!

Which one is it, do you know? I want one so bad that works with the S9+
There are a number of styluses that would work, but they won't be as responsive as those that come with the Note series.
The note series phones have a piece behind the lcd that picks up the stylus from the bite series. It's physical hardware and software that allows them to work as good as they do.

Hello all.
First time poster and have already searched for my answer without luck.
I have the Huawei P20 mate pro in UK on EE (and very happy with it) however looking to purchase a smart watch.
EE have an offer for a 4g Galaxy Watch. I have been after a good smart watch for some time.
I have seen online that there maybe compatibility issues with the mate 20 pro.
On the EE website it says the watch is only for use with the Samsung galaxy phone.
I've looked everywhere for some advice without any luck.
Can anyone give me some advice?

I'm using is with mate 20 pro and i have wifi version.
I'm using the 42mm Galaxy watch without issue, too. Wifi only.
Apart from no notifications of whatsapp incoming calls...
And no heart rate alarms (like apple watch)

I use and recommend the Huawei Watch GT (or the new GT Active) which runs a dedicated OS so the battery lasts 2 weeks!!
Fit options are complete, and app notifications can be sent to the watch.
Moreover, if you don't wear the watch on your wrist, it automatically enters in a battery save mode!
Only watchfaces at the moment are only few, but Huawei has announced to release a custom watchface creation app in the future.

I work for ee sales so feel free to get in touch if you need help.
The watch will work on the mate 20 pro or any other android device,but will only work on certain Samsung models for the 4g aspect. Otherwise it will only connect via WiFi and Bluetooth

Need to decide whether or not to buy now.
I have just switched from the P20 Pro to the Mate 20 Pro, Galaxy watch working flawlessly with it. Just ensure you exclude the Galaxy wear app and plugin from Battery Optimization on the phone for a reliable connection.

Is there anything vaguely similar like the Samsung Galaxy Note "screen-off memo" available for OnePlus 7T Pro?
I couldn't find anything on the PlayStore.....
Ideally, it would be gesture activated when screen is off, & recognise finger input for drawing/ doodles (not just typing-input).
Any recommendations?

Haven't seen an app like this, and that was firmware based on note products with a s pen built into the phone and the s pen triggered that so called gesture. If you wanted another stylus phone, I think you picked the wrong phone. As for me my last Samsung was a note 8 and really didn't use the s pen so this phone is great for me. If you want quick notes, try voice dictation with Google. Ex ok Google. Take note then speak note
This is why I got a Tab S4, my tablet has some cool features, but I don't use them nearly enough to justify the price tag and bloated software on my phone

I did not want another stylus phone - this is not what I meant.
There are many apps available for all android phones which accept finger input for drawing/ doodles etc. If this could be (technically possible??) made available for when screen is off - can be very handy (same reasons as SG Note series "screen-off memo".
Only difference being, instead of stylus removal activating this feature, in non-stylus phones it could be activated by gestures (similar to those gestures which activate torch or camera while screen is off).
