Hi, as most people know this low end phone doesn't work well with stock htc sense, so i rooted it and started removing bloatware. In the process i accidentally removed the phone software and now can't use the phone function. I didn't do a backup and can't find the stock software image anywhere
Has anyone got a link to stock htc desire c software or maybe an image i can restore from?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to revert the Samsung Vibrant to a completely stock state as if I opened the box. I have used odin before which returns it to a like stock state, but there's always a piece of information that never gets erased.
I recently started using doubletwist which allows me to easily sync files to the phone, but when it detects the phone it always displays the name of the previous owner as the device name. I have heard that dialing *#*#7780#*#* may work but have never tried it. Can anyone confirm that this works or knows a way to change the device name? Any help would be much appreciated
Hi there all,
Thanks in advance for looking,
I have a chinese dual sim with android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, as main stream manufactures dont make Android dual sim phones.
I have routed the phone useing superoneclick.
I have been loking for a way to do a total back up of the phone to preseve it.
I have downloaded titanium back up pro and clock recovery mod as well as droid X recovery.
My problem started when I used the "fix permissions" option in droid X which proceeded to over write my system resulting a expensive brick.
Its locked in a loop trying to boot up.
I have read on the forum that it is possible to re-flash through the sd slot on the phone.
1) Is this possible with my mobile?
2) If so what software do I use ?
3) A good simple guide in the process would be a must as I am complete novice.
4) Please bear in mind that this is not a mainstream phone.

Hi I have had no luck fixing the phone and bought a new dual sim mobile and have given up..
My brother has received a HTC Flyer with a customized ROM from his high school as a gift to advocate e-learning. As far as I can tell, this ROM is no joke.
Features:
It does not have USB Debugging. At all. Can't find it.
It does not have Google Play Store.
The ROM is heavily modified. There's no methods I know of to get ADB to detect this device.
You can't set the language to anything else. No English.
It reboots itself every 3 hours to clear caches, temporary files, etc. And then re-downloads all updates the ROM had updated before. (Wastes WiFi)
And since the HTC Flyer has been given to us, my brother requested that I flash the ROM to HTC Flyer stock RUU or something. The point is taken, but I don't know where to begin. First choice of ROM: Stock RUU.
Anyone know where to start?
EDIT:
Nope, using ADB with serial number failed. Device can't even be found.
UPDATE:
The tablet bricked itself when I decided to restart the tablet. I can no longer turn on the tablet, or tell if the tablet is charging or something. I'm going to a HTC store to get it fixed and reflash it to a stock HTC RUU rom. I guess there's no point in doing stuffs on my own once it's gotten out of hand.
Thanks for reading this anyway.
Hi,
I am still trying to repair my hox+, it is stuck in airplane mode, it has lost its IMEI.
I am looking into flashing the damaged partitions by doing backup on a second phone (which is working, same stock rom version)
and restoring it on the damaged one. After that the correct IMEI has to be restored by the phone itself.
This is often done on Samsung phones. But does anybody know, if this works on HTC One X+?
And I have really trouble to identify that partition which contains the efs . Since there are 20 mmcblk´s
The Software "Partitions Backup" just gives me the 3-literal Names, like rfs, rca, rv1, sos, sp1, pg1 and so on.
I find no suitable informations on the www. Seems like it happens more often on SAMSUNG than on HTC

As far as I know, there's no EFS partition in HTC phones. That's why you will find it happens more often on Samsung phones because the EFS partition is ONLY for Samsung phones.
Now when it comes to losing IMEI in HTC phones, after checking a lot of threads about it (I've got a HOX+ with lost IMEI myself), I am convinced that when IMEI is lost (and impossible to recover even trying to come back to stock ROM using the RUU's) it's more likely to be a hardware issue.
You should take your phone to service.
Hello. Would anyone happen to have the LG Mobile Updater software? I used to have it on one of my old laptops, but it no longer powers on I have also searched online for it and any mention of it I came across only had dead links unfortunately.
I need to use it for my LG Ally, which is stuck on the "Downloading... Do not unplug!" screen as soon I turn the phone on. I would like to pretty much do to the LG Ally what I have done recently with my HTC Sensation (which I unlocked the bootloader, s-off, flashed recovery, and permanent rooted, then installed a custom rom)
I do have the drivers for the Ally along with an image of the stock recovery, which I had made backups of back in 2011 , but never got around to backing up the LG Mobile Updater software. :crying: If anyone needs the drivers or stock recovery let me know.
