1 Download the firmware
Download
2 Unpack the PC
3 Load extracted file (.tar.MD5) as PDA in Odin.
4 On the phone must be installed external SD card
5 Turn OFF your phone, Press&Hold POWER+VOLUME_DOWN buttons until phone boot into Download/Odin Mode
6 Connect phone to the computer and WAIT for the drivers to be installed. You will see blue or yellow indicator in left top corner of Odin, with phone connected to port: COM:x
7 Click START and wait until you see GREEN indicator [PASS], flashing is finished
8 You will find the files on your flash card
Status of the device will remain the official

I doubt knox seems to be based on an efuse inside the Qualcomm CPU that can't be changed back + signatures that match a specific efuse + SN configuration.

I think, in the I9505 the flag is not an eFuse.

I flashed this rom and till now there are no problems (FC).. But I don't flash over wiped system.. But it workes fine at my S2.. Maybe others have the problems you had with the rom.. So we can find a solution for this..
I flashed also the latest Dorimanx Kernel (today release).

I pulled out the existing Kaleidoscope and Cat live wallpapers and decompiled - it's just a short mp4 video clip. I created a new apk as a test but I have no idea how to get the wallpaper picker to recognize it without root pushing to system and/or editing the lockscreen settings.
Anyone have any ideas? These would be fun to make.
Can you update the existing one with the new one? It's a system app but I don't know if it'll work

Tried. It doesn't install - even with updating the versionInfo. I've been out of the modding scene for a while now, so maybe I'm missing something.
Edit: from log: "...signatures do not match the previously installed version"
Edit2: well, I guess we are out of luck without root. There is a "config_feature_live_wallpaper" component hard coded in the LGLockScreenSettings_2.apk where it explicitly references the two stock (kaleidoscope and cat) live wallpapers. See LockscreenGalleryActivity.smali, LockSettingsReceiver.smali, and ResetSettingsReceiver.smali.

Hi, I'm a bit if a noob at this rooting and never touched programming in my life however can you not edit the code on your pc to specifically target the new mp4 without the root or does it have to be rooted to have access to any part of the (I'm going to call it) os?
FIXED! Thanks to @tys0n. As you can see there is a short flicker that I'll fixed when I'm not swamped with **** I'll soon upload a gif!
Hey guys. So the thing is, in my opinion the A2017G boot animation really sucked. The first 3 pictures were fine but then it just stops in the end. We're not watching a movie, we're passing time until our phone boots! We want a loop, an infinite loop of motion and not just an end frame that'll stay there until it starts.
So I modified the boot animation a little prettier: In the end of the third picture I did some editing and it goes back to the first one, looking real good.
A video of version 1.1: (I know, it flickers a little, I'll fix it later. BTW sorry for the quality it's from my old phone) Click here!
How to install:
1. Grab the file here
2. Enter /system/media
3. In that folder, either delete bootanimation.zip or move it somewhere else
4. Move the downloaded file to /system/media as bootanimation.zip
5. Enjoy!

Don't forget in your OP to tell people to set permissions correctly to the new bootanimation or it won't work and they'll get a black screen instead your bootanimation
Take it this requires root.

I use SolidExplorer with root enabled and placed it in Root/System/Media. Just name it bootanimation.zip
Make sure to back up your original just in case.

please help me I have been trying solutions for 2 months but nothing works. I also tried to do
1 go to wipe
2 go to advanced wipe
3 select date
4 repair or change flie system
5 change flile system ext 2
6 then replace ext 4
but it does not work. when i try to boot in to the system it goes into an infinite loading screen. please HELP (I used google translator because my english sucks)

Anyway:
Assumed these requirements
got fulfilled, the USB-driver suitable to your phone is installed on PC,
then the basic steps to perform are
1) Unlock phone's boot-loader, if not done yet
2) flash the ROM

This is the price that people who think they must improve (?) phone's Android, will say put up a better (?) ROM / Recovery than that what gets pre-installed by OEM/Carrier ( in their R&D department there are certainly no idiots sitting around ), pay.

I stuffed up with my box.
Box: T95m S905X (P212) 1G+8G @ Android 7.1.2 (before)
I try to flash with Aiden's Android 7 universal ROM and now stuck at the splash screen forever.
I couldn't find the original ROM to go back.
Could someone help me provide a link to download the stock ROM with the front screen supported please?

The problem is, I tried many firmwares and some of them stuck at 2% in USB Burning Tool, and some stuck at 7% after format.
None of the firmware can be flashed successfully on my box.

I think this firmware is for S905 but not S905X.
I tried to copy the ZIP content to an SD card and failed to boot from the SD.
IMG content was failed to programmed via USB Burning Tool, maybe wrong emmc type.
Is there any other way to rescue my box please?
