Before u use copy and paste using xplorer u should have root access as super user+mount writable....then try to copy paste...

I meant that I want to Make many nandroid copies without replacing any old backup. Is that possible? Or just one copy is allowed?

It doesn't replace the nandroid, it creates a new one. If you want to delete them for space later you can, but the recovery will not automatically overwrite it.
Like they already said, you can do as any as you want. I currently have 4. One rooted stock rom, one Cyanogenmod 7.2 one Cyanogenmod 9 and an early Cm9 beta 4

Don't forget to rename the backup with rom, kernel and date etc so easier to manage if you need to recover

You actually need to be careful with this. On my device, if you don't rename them using a certain format (no spaces, etc) then they won't restore.
Assuming that you're using CWM (I don't), it should be somewhere in the ClockworkMod folder.

it will be under clockworkmod/backup. your backups will be sorted by the created date.

Don't forget to check if you have space enough for your backups. And remember what hboot you were using on all the different backups. I had a few problems with so many backups. Hehe

I think the error refers to rfs format in the system partition.
Could that be the ics ROM is in ext4 format?
cuz I checked its Backup folder and there was a file something like ext4-data. Otherwise, in the GB backup there is rfs-data.

if you want to back up system apps then i would prefer that you use titanium back up
if using root explorer, just long tap the file, copy and paste to your sd card
restore by simply pasting it back and setting the correct permissions
Sorry ..i m new here

thank u for the reply my friend..
what rooted mean? and undelete where?
Don't root only to get your whatsapp database back which also depends sometimes u don't get deleted files back
Root in simpler terms is similar to administrative rights of windows
But this is not the right explanation of it
Rooting will also void your warranty

Ok...so I have seen many people asking how to convert nandroid backup to flashable zip. HERE IT IS
1. Download yaffey.zip
2. Run yaffey.exe
3. Open the system.yaffs2.img from the nandroid backup
4. Select all and export to a new folder.
5. Now install dsixda's Android kitchen... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633246
6. Use the kitchen to cook a flashable rom.
OR
6. Download a any flashable zip for your phone, delete the system folder in it AND place the nandroid extracted system folder in the downloaded zip.
THATS IT!! YOU ARE DONE!
Hit Thanks If It's Usefull!
So the system.yaff2 file will get the whol rom.. That is al the constituent folders like app, etc, framework, into the folder after extracting the img nandroid file using ur tool?
