need help finding a safe way to root this device
and hopefully install a custom rom on to it.
i didnt realise it was a kirf device(fake) but i shouldnt have to suffer
How many rooting tools have you tried? There's a lot out there.

too afraid till i get a fair idea on what would be recommended, because it is a chinese phone after all although i know it can be rooted but with what i have no idea. any help appreciated
its is a mtk6575 model, HDC galaxy s3 i9300 mobile, android 4.0.4.

I followed the directions from A YOUTUBE VIDEO titled - How to root the HDC Galaxy S3 i-9300 8.6mm Pro!
I now have supersu and there is also an option to upgrade to supersu pro which apparently is more advanced than the superuser rooting option.
I also have the clockwood mod application installed along with Rom Manager
There is an option to manually install the clockwood mod 2.x or 3.x+,
I have used 'fix permissions' which has made a hell of a difference to the perfomance of my phone.

I am having Samsung galaxy note N7000 i recently rooted myphone to paranoidota 4.3 i had no issue. later i wanted to install cm rom so i updated to cm-10.2-20130909-NIGHTLY-n7000.zip. ever since then i am not getting any network. i also changed sim card there is no issue with that still no network i now updated it to cm-10.2-20130911-NIGHTLY-n7000.zip . I am still not getting ny solution plzzzz help
I tried flash phone with rom Title: HDC Galaxy S4 Legend JC with Clockworkmod. I did everything according to the instructions on the needrom.com however my phone displays only samsung galaxy s4 logo and nothing more...
I tried to flash software few times but now I have just clean phone I afraid I bricked it totally.

i backed up previous software just in case but Idk how to use it.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 Active SGH-I537 (AT&T, 16 GB) and I am running stock firmware (JB 4.3). I literally got this phone yesterday, and I am already missing the root features I had on my previous phone. I have tried the geohot method, but it does not seem to work on android 4.3.

Hi i have a s5 Clone that works pretty well but the only problem is the reception im getting here in the US with the phone is pretty bad.
Is there something wrong the radio ? Is there anything i can do about it ?
