Here's a cheap one from eBay. I didn't buy it but I came across it.

Bought this one for my new note. Really love it. Esp the clip, very very tight wont loosen up like my one I had for my Streak 5 was so loose it would wobble on my belt.
Also like how this has a 1" strap on the top with magnet snap.
Side note.. everyone talks about how big the note is, my streak 5 was larger with a smaller screen and heavier. But that could be because of the all metal frame which I do admit i miss.
Found a deal for 2 oem batteries and a wall charger. http://www.ebay.com/itm/16073975077...NX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_554wt_1127
Still waiting for it to come in. I work outside my home office alot. And need to use it to read/mod powerpoint/excel/work docs and circuit diagrams for a voip network alot. So like to have a spare or 2 batteries just in case.

That is it. Some concern in what the magnet would do to the screen of the gnote, but I think as long as you have the screen inward, it is fine.

I've had one of these Pdair cases on order from Amazon for weeks now. Says it shipped on Feb 2. Still not here. Beware of a *really* long arrival time. Ships from Hong Kong and estimated arrival date is between March 2 and March 18 for me. That's with my order being placed on Feb 1. Just a heads up.

That should work for all Notes due to the fact it goes over the back cover versus replacing the back cover. We've been waiting for this to release. Looks like it finally did!

i RECEIVED THAT HOLSTER 2 DAYS AGO . IT TOOK ABOUT 12 DAYS TO GET HERE.. THE CASE IT COMES WITH FITS GOOD BUT IS NOT HAT GREAT FOR PROTECTING THE PHONE. I'M USING IT WITH THE S-LINE TPU CASE ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/27090980596...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_2572wt_1397 )AND IT FITS WELL AND SLIDES IN AND OUT WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE.
It took about 10 days for me to get the case in Toronto.
Since we are stuck waiting for Spigen to say yes or no and then waiting some more for them to actually make the Slim Armor View and then ship it (could be 1-2 months if ever) I went on and found another case that will do pretty much the same thing and do it quite well plus the added metal kickstand isn't a bad addition. I bring you the
Seidio LEDGER™ View with Metal Kickstand you can get it in Grey/Grey or Red/Grey and it will be shipping in a couple of weeks. Amazon.com also has it listed as shipping in 1-3 weeks http://www.amazon.com/Seidio-LEDGER...80763126&sr=8-3&keywords=Seidio+LEDGER+Note+3 and the Red/Grey combo ships in 2-3 weeks http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FFD611Y...TF8&colid=19FEXKB01KSRQ&coliid=I19D08TX7EL1G0
So I think its worth looking at, checking out and I am ordering mine asap since I can't wait any longer.

I'm still waiting for a battery cover only with kick stand. everything so far seems to be a full on case/bulky as thing..
I think this is the case I'm going to get as well. I just hope it offers some level of protection if you drop it. It's between this and their active case. I do like that armor case, hope they make it.

The big thing for me with this case would be the ability to stay closed. If it includes magnets that keep the cover closed, as well as having full sview functionality as well as a kickstand, I will be buying this case.

This case looks awesome, was really hoping for the slim armor view but spigen doesn't seem interested in making them. Hopefully Seidio provides a release date soon.
Has anyone asked them if the S View function works like the Samsung original?
I have no doubts it will. Seidio has always been one of the better company's IMHO. side note, I picked up Samsung s view for my girl, offers no real protection. Disappointed for spending $60.

I can't speak from experience, but I'm currently rocking the platinum case (best buy version of seidio surface) and I don't see how the holster would not also work for the ledger. I could be wrong but I just don't see it

This is the case I am thinking about but am going to see the reports on full s-vie compatability and protection. but if it has good feedback it definitely has all I look for in a phablet case.

YES, it can! My girl dropped it many times - nothing happened!
What do you think - will the S Charger Kit work, when the Note is in its Seidio Case ACTIVE® with Metal Kickstand? BTW - The Thickness of The Charger Kit is 2 mm larger, maybe it fits the case.
What is with the other functions as NFC, Beam - will this work with this case? A magnet and metal could maybe disturb some features.
If the Ledger have all the function of S View cover ... it's a MUST HAVE !
The kickstand is very important for me but only 2 dreams are missing : first not holster, i need to have a belt clip and second, the kickstand is only in landscape without portrait mode.
and still no cut out for the notification led. Sview needs a dock mode feature then I could live without notifications

So since this cover is dead now... any other replacements i.e. a slim cover with a window and a kickstand?

It depends on how thick the case is. Most of the thin cases, it will still work I've found. But if it's partially covering the USB port, or if it's thick on the back it won't work.

Do you have dock mode with the s view case? Mine charges but you cant see the time when charging.
Hey guys,
I've tried 2 cases with this dock and none have worked. The Neo Hybrid and the Case Mate Tough case. As mentioned before, the Neo case won't fit at all, the Case Mate case will charge but not dock. I did however shave a bit of the rubber off of the bottom of the Case Mate case and it seems to have worked so far. Not saying all should go try it because it seriously looks like a dog got a hold of it and chewed on it for a bit.
If anyone knows of a good protective case that's not a folio case that will fit the dock, let us know!

I'm looking to find something decent to stick my note 3 in while I use runkeeper on a run. Does anyone use the note 3 for running?
I used to use my s2 (and I still could), but I have a galaxy gear and would like to use the runkeeper app while running. Obviously I can't do that with the s2.
Also I used to use an armband and bought a cheap one for this but it feels and looks ridiculous.

I'm with hznberg on this one, don't get an armband. I have one (designed for n2 originally), and I feel like a goof running with it. Get yourself a hydration belt/fanny pack. I have a nathans half marathon belt I use now, fits really snug but fits. Still looking for a suitable bluetooth set as the cord gets annoying from that length.

This is what I (and my wife with a note 2) use http://www.thegrommet.com/made-in-the-usa/flipbelt-athletic-personal-pack-all
I'm 6'3 and about 190 and I got the large size. It fits a caseless note 3 albeit pretty snug. If I had it to do over, I'd get the XL which would probably fit my cased note but Im fine taking the case off when I run. I also use a samsung bluetooth reciever that accepts a 2.5 jack so I can use whatever buds/headphones I want to plug in. Works out nicely. I put the note in a leather fanny when Im riding though because I need keys, garage opener etc.

That's pretty sweet. I bought a belt clip sac that had great reviews but ended up hating it. Your option looks much more comfortable. I usually just run with my phone in my hand, lol. I use these bluetooth headphones and love them, they last long and are super easy to pair. The volume is solid too.

I'll just copy and paste what I put in the Zerolemon thread I imagine this would work with most large cases seeing as the ZL case is huge.
Just in case anyone has been looking for one I found an armband that actually fits with the ZL case, granted it's snug but fits great a little hard to get in at first because of the side grips but once you use it a few times it will loosen up. I searched but didn't see anyone posting about an armband for the N3 that'd fit with the ZL case everything else was for naked or slim cases. I got it for 12 bucks shipped and sent it one day shipping ups which was nice. It came with cheap pink headphones (I just gave them to my kids) they got the same with different headphones for a few bucks more. It's listed for the Galaxy Mega but is perfect for the ZL/N3 combo. Hope this helps someone!

YES... you're correct on this. I usually put it in my back pocket on my sweats. Gives me that extra nudge when I wan to stop.
I've owned a slew of Samsung tablets over the years and Samsung has uniformly released overpriced, horribly built cases for their tablets.
The Tab Pro 8.4 case on the other hand is actually a premium quality case. It compares well to my Apple original Mini Retina case except it is much slimmer/lighter (a good thing). An actual leather finish, and a precise fit.
Not cheap but oh so awesome :good:
i like it too and came free with my 10.1 purchase at BB

What is the model number for this case? Where did you purchase it from?
Sent from my SM-T325 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I bought it, and I'm returning it back! The case doesn't protect the tablet as it should: the right side of the tablet stays very exposed (looks like it doesn't cover the whole device), and it's not magnetic to keep it closed - iPad cases are magnetic as well the Poetic case I bought for my Nexus 7 2013 edition. By the way, that Poetic case is very well made, and provides a very good protection to the device. I'm returning the Samsung book case and I'll buy a Poetic for my 8.4.
I'd read some Amazon reviews on the Poetic case. There are claims that the magnets impact the screen negatively. I had an Asuxtek case very similar to the Poetic and found it very bulky.
Also the Apply original case for the Mini does have a slight magnetic grip to keep it closed but is minimal at best.
I read it too today, and for sure it is a real concern. However, it seems to only affect the Note 8, but of course i'm not sure. What I can say is: I have it on my Nexus 7 2013 since brand new and no issues at all. My wife also owns a Nexus 7 2013 and no issues either. But the thing is: if the case starts to cause any issues like those described on Amazon reviews, does it really damage the tablet, or only while using the case?
Just got mine (Samsung case) today from B&H photo...got it barely used for 30 shipped. I feel it's well worth that price. Nearly no added bulk and just enough protection...solid case.
How does it go when using the cover as a kickstand in landscape? It looks similar to the note 8 case which I could not get to stand up correctly, the 2 fold in the case would never stay put and the tablet would fall flat. I want the Samsung case cause of its build quality but only of it does the job it is advertised to do.

I understand this. But when I try to use the magnet and cover to "fold" into a stand, the magnet doesn't seem to be very strong. It doesn't take much effort to have it all fold flat and crash to the table/desktop.
