Dust in Front Camera - HTC Amaze 4G

I've not had this phone for too long but now I see a lot of dust stuck in the front Camera of my HTC Amaze 4G. How did it even get there
Is there anyway to clean it? It really annoys me and the front Camera now takes milky photos with bad quality.
Any idea?

Ha ha I've the same problem till now.
But when I asked they told that go to hardware shop or there is a thread on how to repair open.amaze...
I've no link but you may search it.

Your only option is to disassemble it, and manually take out the dust. There is no easy way to do this, and if you do it wrong you'll break your Amaze.

Camera

I recently got my Evo 3D after having an Epic for a year.
I can't seem to get a decent picture. They all come out fuzzy. Also I was wondering if there are different scenes (outdoor, beach, party, indoor..etc. )
So, is there another app to help with these issues or an I missing something?

Flash the amaze camera, its much better

It helps to tap the screen and let the box turn green before taking the pic. To me, the evo seems to have troubles with low light situations.

(Q) Why can't I open camera during call?

Is this typical on all of the roms? I was on a call and went to send my wife a picture of what I was looking at in messaging and got a popup saying can't open camera during call. Never really noticed it before but was wondering if it was the stock camera app or the phone. I'm on Saurom VI with Att fix.

Yes this is normal. Every android phone I have had works this way
Yes mine does the same thing.

stock camera does that but some of the cam aps from the market work just fine during a call

Cool, thanks to know. Seems kind of silly that I can't take a picture while I'm on the phone. I don't think the camera makes the earpiece work......lol

Not all of them work this way. The GSII did not and neither did the GSII SR. At least on the official ROMs I played with the camera worked during a call. I have not tried that on the Note.
What would be the logic of disabling the camera while on a call.?

serious haha why would they disable it yet have facetime

That's what I thought. It's not like it needs the phone radio to open.

Its more about the resources that the phone uses while on a call and the camera. The are both huge ram hogs. And we know what happens when the system gets taxed too much.

Lose screen

Anyone else notice that when tapping the top half the screen it feels like it's slight loose? I just activated it an hour ago :-\

Shake it it does the same sound.. I thought it was the screen but I'm thinking it's the lens in the camera clicking around.
I just posted about this in another thread but now I'm curious are only some phones doing this or is it just the way the phone is. It doesn't seem like a big a deal but for a $600 phone I would expect it not to rattle when I touch it
No noise or rattling on my phone..

No noise here neither but I notice that bottom of the screen is collecting dust and if I look closed enough I can see a gap between the screen and the bezel I wonder if tmobile would replaced my unit

try re-activating it. Also try a factory reset, should solve your loose screen problem.

Broken screen on yp-g1

My yp-g1(galaxy s wifi 4.0) screen cracked on the corner near the front facing camera the touchscreen doesn't respond.
So I was wondering if anyone knew anything about how much it costs for a screen from repair?

I was wondering how much someone would pay for it as the screen repair would be £50 at most and I might sell buy it now on ebay for £20 at most so u would at most spend £70 to get it all nice and fixed up wondering if anyone thinks that would appeal
