Just download the RUU from HTC's site and install it...

okay so i managed to S-off . im with unlocked bootloader. and now the phone cant start. a red triangle with a ! appears. cant go into recovery too.. help?

I have the same t-mo HTC one version of android and i want to update to 4.3 but i leave in Germany. It working for me this?
I tried to update from phone but it say my phone is up-to-date but I have android 4.2.2. Do you know i will receive ota update next month or this Mont? Thank you very much

I have been trying to do this for weeks.....all I want to do is have either Live Wallpapers on my NEW 2.1 Leak......root the leak (I hear you cant) or install Amon Ra's recovery image.....

Now I installed it as per directions....I was unable to uncheck the android keyboard because it was not in settings>Keyboards
Yet I did check the swype box....still is default keyboard
Long press on any text box and select input method. Then click on swype.

What stuff were you expecting to do? It's your own fault for installing the leak before doing some (any) research, anyway...hopefully OTA will come soon and we can root or hopefully install that. I'm running the second leak for the record.

There is no tutorial, someone needs to do some java work, and I don't have the knowledge to do it. I can point a java dev in the right direction.
is there an OTA stock 2.1 Rom i can just flash, and unroot with?
i know that if i root, i can flash other roms and what not , but then if i need to return my phone to verizon if it breaks,can i just flash the stock OTA 2.1 rom and i will lose root and verizon won't know i was ever rooted?
if i can do that can someone give me a link? i swear i saw one yesterday but i cant find it.
also, would verizon be able to tell if i did the same thing with the v3 leak, flashed a non rooted rom?

Im unable to install the this update from recovery. Please let me know how to install this.
I tried install update from SD but the phone reboots.
My Phone is unlocked
That's prolly just the ota... Not ready to flash via recovery. Must be taken apart and assembled with slight modifications first. Unless its an update .zip either case I would wait for the go ahead.

Rename to PG86IMG.zip and boot into bootloader and press vol up but I suggest u remove the hboot and recovery signed imgs from the zip first

Sorry for the Wrong Info. Actually my phone is locked with S -on. I'm very eager to update to ICS 4.0. I even tried renaming this file to update.zip and just "update". When I select "install update from SDcard" the phone just reboots.

Finally got the ICS update today here in Dubai. lot of excitement during installation.
Guys if you haven't received the update yet please be patient you will receive it.
ICS looks good especially the Home Screen. No wallpaper Scrollable function present but overall it looks good and nothing great about it. Have to wait and see the performance.
The interface is okay nothing much new.
HTC will soon announce the Phones which can be upgraded to Jelly bean 4.1. it seems they wont delay like they did for ICS. I'm sure EVO 3D will be compatible with Jellybean 4.1. :laugh:

It is Elitasat. My Hboot is 1.49.0011. I don't think it has got anything to do with Hboot and if your phone is locked with S-ON surely you will be able to install it. I'm sure you will receive the update if you had purchased it in UAE.
I have trying to go back to stock JB rom since a month now....all the ruu's i can find doesnt match my region and i havent found any nandroid backup as well ... pls help . the 4.2.2 update will be out in a couple of days now and i cant get the OTA
could any body help me in getting the ruu or the nandroid backup.

There is a nandroid backup available someone in the forum.
But you need to search for it.
Also, without the stock recovery - you can not get OTA.
If you have searched the forum a bit - you might have already discovered there is no RUU available for hboot 1.40.
There is a ruu for 1.17.401.3.

I was in the same situation but the only difference is that this guy that has the file is living 30km from me. For some people is not an option because they live too far away.
Me myself I understand why his not giving the file: he has a job! and a family to take care of. If sharing something would put his job in danger, than in his situation I would do the same and you also too!
My bad because I wrote in here from the first place.

As my title suggests.. I am actually New to HTC .. coming from nexus and oneplus one...both lollipop..
I've just bought this phone from gumtree..
So was going thru all of it... When checked the software it showed 4.3, thought to contact the guy about the software update but it's too late to cotact him, will ask him tomorrow morning.. but as I can sort this issue out here so thought to share it here..
I can share the screenshots of the software details, would you guys please help me out with the software update ??

I was actually waiting to upgrade it to sense 6 then to root it..
Talked to the seller and he told me that it's an European version so the update might not have come to that country yet..

Well do you know if it is at least S-OFF? You'll find that in the bootloader screen. What is your purpose. Just want an upgrade or you wan't to root to upgrade?

If you can root. There is a intl lollipop build out there you can flash to your phone. Probably what you're looking for.

The rom is rooted. You just need to root your phone so you can flash a custom recovery to flash it.
Will do that...
