Has anyone found any brushed metal or aluminum cases for this phone? I can't find any.
Not a one. Since dimensions of e970 are dissimilar to every other lgog we got shafted on cases and replacement parts.

Aluminum cases tend to degrade signal.. I used to have one on another phone.. Looked cool but reduced antenna range and caused the phone to suck down the battery.

In the link provided, it says it fits the e970, hence it is for the att version, however like the op said,auction over

It also lists that it's for the E973 too which has different dimensions than our E970. From the photos it looks like it fits the Korean version.
If it fit the AT&T version the pic wouldn't have the other version.

I ordered a bumper from Pure Mobile last month since it said it was for for e970. Emailed them to verify and was told yes, it fits the e970. When it arrived, sure enough, it did not fit. I would hesitate until you see actual pics of the bumper on an actual ATT phone...not a stock image. That's the lesson I learned.

I sent a message to the seller but they didn't answer my question, lol. We'll just have to wait until it is listed again so someone can buy one and make sure it actually fits.

Hope you didn't pay for that..lol! If you wanted to spend the money..check out Etradesupply.com I have bought parts for my i777 from there. They have a full front housing assembly screen and digitizer including capacitive button ribbon for a decent price. But...I would only spend the money if I knew the only thing wrong was the screen. Flip a coin! Good luck!

So I think I'm going to turn over a new leaf and try to keep a phone for at least a year. Well doing so will require an otter box or similar. The problem here is wireless charging. If it doesnt charge I'm going to have to use the plug. I know first world problems If I take that annoying flap off before it snaps off will the USB port still resist water?

If you have the flap off and the stock Samsung charger isn't in it, it is not resistant to water.

I've had my eyes on a similar product and it seems they aren't thin enough to seal the cover on. The only review of this one says he thinks its sealed so I'll keep my eye on that one for more reviews.

Is there anywhere you can buy just the T-Mobile back cover? Mine makes a creaking noose when you touch the back around the camera.

I've found that most of the "creaking" noises comes from the battery being slightly loose.
Try taking out your battery and see if it still creaks.
I thought the back cover was solid not flimsy like past phones? I'm not going to press around the camera to see if I hear a creak. Lol
Mine has a slight creek in one corner, however, I fixed it by heating it with a hair dryer and bending it a little and now JTS perfect. I have 3 back covers and the Att one creeks more for some reason but I don't notice anything while it's in my case.
