I've recently bought some Sony bluetooth headphones (model no. MDR-NWBT10 if that helps). They work fine when listening to music using Google play, but I can't get them to work with videos that are embedded in websites on Google chrome. The video plays, but the sound plays through the tablet's speakers. I might be missing something simple here. Thanks for any help.

The music plays fine normally. With the earphones on, I can listen to other people while making calls, I can listen to the ringtones while testing them. I just can not seem to get to listen to the music! It appears to be playing but there is no sound. I have no volume controls on my earphones so I think I am missing something inside the settings.
I am having problems with the native music player, youtube, pandora. Is there anything else I can test ?
It would be great if someone could help me out on this. Thanks!
Julio Iglesias does this to my earphones also!
All it required, apparently, was a damned reboot. The phone was drained completely of the battery and turned off. When it was back up, everything was back to normal.
When in doubt... reboot!

When i hear music on my sgp 5.0 i get little stops in the music. I have 3 music players and it happenes with all of them but with my video players its not happening at all so there is no problem with the headphones or with the connection of the headphones in the device.
The players that i have are:
1. The player that i got when i bought the device.
2. The player that came with the rom
3. Poweramp
How can i stop this little stops when i hearing a music?
Thanks for all the helpers!

stops...
it happened to me after i adquired GP50Int...
i noticed that if i use an equalizer like DSP Equalizer, Equalizer, etc... the music sounds choppy... like it was stopping for a few seconds...
i also noticed it happens when i activate Treble and Bass Bost...
my solution uninstall any Equalizer and just use power amp and the samsung presets...
now sounds even better!
Thanks it works!

I am on Sprint, rooted and have frozen some bloatware. Poweramp insists on playing automatically whenever I get in the car. They cannot support me and do not have an answer. Is there a music player out there that does not start up automatically whenever it finds a bt connection? I have tried Jetaudio and did not like the audio quality. I have also notice that sometimes I am getting only one channel of stereo. Any suggestions?
Update : also noticing that bt sometimes streams only one channel...

What music player app do you use for bluetooth in your car?
I'm trying to find a player that will work with bluetooth in my car but every player I tried doesn't work in my car. No song info is shown and I can't change songs on the steering wheel, everytime I do it pauses and I can't get to play again through the car.
The stock player does all that but it doesn't have a good eq like poweramp or the fading options like that.
I've tried playerpro, rocket music player, jetaudio, and n7player but none of them work with bluetooth
N7 works over Bluetooth for me. Same with Google Play and numerous streamers like Pandora and Songza to name a few.

I have never had this problem ever, on several devices and cd players. But, my habitual usage includes Google play music app. It works well enough for me, and is fast on hsdpa or better.

Any player should work over BT. Once your connection is up, just navigate to the player and you should be good to go. Since BT is just providing the A2DP connection, the player doesn't care where the music is being sent to. It just plays it to the audio out source. I think your problem is your headunit, but can't be 100% sure. My players (all of them, both streaming and non-streaming) work on any BT car I've connected too. Some cars won't display the album cover art and so forth, but the music comes across just fine.
Well any music app will play music, but I can't seem to change the song from my headunit, it has to be changed from the phone. Changing songs from the car will pause it everytime.
I would like this feature to work with my car on an app like poweramp
For me, All the controls work from steering wheel for every music player I used (from stock to ASOP) May be it depends on car stereo too.
Hi Guys!
I do have a serious problem with using napster music.
Until now I strictly used to stream music by BT to my car audio. Thus worked nearly flawless. Now I tried sreaming with no connection to my car and napster wont play to speaker. I tried to reinstall with no effect, tried using soundabout for routing with no effect. Now... I dont know whats this about my tv app plays sound to speaker, so I think napster should be able too...
Any hints on this?!
