Hello,
MTK6589T would give the client all same multi tasking, smooth applications work as SnapDragon 600?
I know in games SD is much better but how about emails, internet, many apps same time in multi tasking?
considering it has 2GB of ram on it.
I have ordered THL W8S and now thinking if I should add money to take Optimus G by adding another 200USD or not. in my country THL W8S cost 485USD ...Not cheap but I wanted it due to screen size and 441 PPI, due to 2GB ram and it's seems to be a good build overall.
Thoughts?
Thanks!

Hi!
I have a Mediacom 855i (8") with 512 MB RAM DDR3 (but in settings I can see there are about 350 MB). I have to read some PDF but with Adobe Reader, Perfect Viewer and EbookDroid I experienced a reading too slow, particularly zooming and changing pages. I think CPU (Cortex A8 1 GHz) aggravates situation too, but Perfect Viewer's force closes suggest me there's especially a RAM's deficiency. So, I would increase RAM but I need some advice from you swap or other suggestions will be appreciated!
No one can help me? :crying:
I am not particulary familiar with your device but, based on the specs you have identified, I think you're probably better off upgrading to a Nexus 7 or similar. A Nexus 7 is only $200 and would work perfectly for viewing PDFs and such. Upgrading RAM probably isnt worth it because it will have little improvement in performance. Your device is becoming outdated (no offense) .
I know it isn't a good tablet but I bought it 2 weeks ago and I can't buy another I spent 89€ for it. I hoped for better performances but the tablet let me down :crying:
hello!
I want to find a tablet of 9.7 or 10 inches that has 2gb of ram, quadcore, Android 4.2 (for the multi-user), 3g and gps.
I honestly do not find anything around 250 euros.Saw the pipo m9pro but is excluded because skype is not working on the tablet and the multi user is not usable, so I imagine the rest of pipo tablets are the same.
which you recommend me?
I saw the edison 2 3g but is dualcore and only has 1gb of ram, so.......
thanks!!

Checks all the boxes (if you can find the dual sim for a decent price, the single SIM is certainly in your price range). Quad core. 1 GB of RAM. All the typical sensors. 4.5" screen. USB OTG. Plus it has a decent build quality vs a lot of budget oriented phones, as well as the software is already on 4.4.2 is a bonus. Tons of magazines and websites have reviewed the phone and all of them were thoroughly impressed with the overall package for the $$$. The camera would probably be the weak spot, but does fine in normal shots if you aren't expecting Nokia Lumia 1020 pictures or anything.
Well gsmarena.com is your friend just scan and scan or search...

I want to buy a new smartphone and i can choose between L9 II & L90
http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=6100&idPhone2=5650
Both are atractive in one way and another
pros i see for L9 II:
720p resolution
additional button for quick memo's ect
Camera has HDR (?)
Internet speed is up to 42mbps (?)
now cons i see on L90
KitKat
looks better
Quad-Core CPU
Cheaper
I was wondering is L9 II dualcore cpu @ 1,4 is same performance then L90's A7Cortex quadcore @ 1,2 ghz?
Now an interesting question poped out. L90 has lower resolution, doesnt that mean that it will take less ram and cpu usage when it comes to graphics?
I would buy Lg l9 II. As far as I know it has a kitkat too :/ Hd screen for me is a very big advantage and it looks better than L90.

thanks!
But why 720p is so important on small screen (well im comparing to notebooks ect). I checked both phones and couldnt tell the difference.
Aswel what about processing power? does A7 cortex being quadcore has advantage over Dual-Core Krait @ 1.4 ghz? Antutu Benchmarks on youtube shows that L90 seem to score better. Although for example GTA San Andreas lags on L90 while L9 II runs smooth.
anyone?
I just picked up the L90, and it's phenomenal for the price. I'd recommend that.

Hey.
I recently purchased a Gigabyte Gsmart Akta A4 smartphone for 130 euros.
Gigabyte as a company is only known in PC market, but they're very trustworthy and they make quality PC parts.
And for 130 euros I've got:
Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU
Mali-450MP4 GPU
8GB of internal storage
1GB of ram
13 mp camera and 5 MP front camera,
A bit small resolution but good screen with good color reproduction (540 x 960).
At this price point I couldn't find any other phone which would match these specs (at least in Lithuania).
In AnTuTu it gets over 26K-27K score.
So I went through a lot of searches and I didn't find any custom roms or anything for it. It's like it's a non-existant phone.
How such a superb budget phone doesn't have any android developers around the globe? :[
Any news? Did you found something?
You most likely won't. Devices like that almost never get any development due to no kernel source and having minor specs. Most developers go after flag ship or near flash ship devices.
