unlocked, on the htc 3d, 2.95... I could connect to wifi but it was really slow where my GF's phone with the same version, but truley stock would DL at 15mbs while mine only .3mbs.
I did the wire rick for s-off and I flashed a 1.13 ruu signed. Then I ran the software updates to get me to 2.95. I can now DL at 2mbs, but that is no where near the 15mbs she can DL..
Any thoughts on this? Sorry for the lack of detail, just ask if yall need more
Thanks

now I am where i started before the s-off. Can hardly connect to wifi, and when I can, there is no connection to the internet, just a network error.
I found this link, seems that it might improve something. Any one try this?

does the wifi use the radio? Seems like a silly question
Okay,
Seems that no one has replied. Maybe this bit of information will help.
I can obtain the desirable speeds if I am right next to the wifi router. If I am 10 - 15 feet away the speed greatly reduces, while my GF phone that is a true stock phone, has the same speed.
Any ideas? I am losing faith in this forum...
NOTE:
I did reset my router, leading to more reliable connections ( to literaly connect to the wifi or not )
after the reset my GF phone is still fine, mine has i geuss 'bad signal' ... i can connect but it is slow if I am not right next to it. while my GF phone is fine being far away from wifi...
Any ideas?

LTE Crashing OS
I did some searching on this forum and did not find anything related to this.
I live in Minnesota and Sprint announced at the beginning of this month they are working on LTE in my area Today when I got into work, my phone crashed while I was listening to music. It would boot all of the way to the home screen and then proceed to crash again. This happened continuously. I noticed that it would crash once acquiring a data connection and this is when I realized it was connecting to 4G (the first time I've seen 4G!). Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is it because I haven't upgraded my software since I've been waiting for a way to s-off since HBOOT 1.15? (Yes I know it is possible now, just been lazy and haven't gotten around to it yet ).
I temporarily fixed the issue by switching to cdma only.
Thanks!

I have never before seen anything like this, and honestly it is confusing me to no end.
So here is the problem, I was having a issue a few weeks back where my router kept crashing, after days of trying to figure it out i turned off my phone and wala the problem seized to exist so i assumed it was a problem with the wifi firmware i had on my phone. so until last night i have kept my phone off.
I have since changed routers, and my entire network configuration
I was on Hboot 1.4 s-off with a JB rom.
So last night I flashed back to 1.13 RUU GB sprint stock, then Flashed the stock ICS RUU
when I awoke this morning my whole network was down. and I found out once again it was my phones fault, and from my routers end my phone had garbed 10 IP address's, I'm to the point where I have no clue what to do, because I need my phone, but i need my network working too. any Ideas on whats wrong or how to fix it?

Have you tried flashing a new rom+kernnel?
yes 3 different roms, 3 different kernels
your problem may be hardware then, did the phone fall or got wet? also have u tested id the same problem occurs on someone elses wifi network?
You don't have any network spy apps or torrent apps on, do you?
I know this question has probably been asked a hundred times, but i want to make sure what I'm doing, so i dont brick my phone. I want to update
my phone to the latest. I've checked out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2143895 and i downloaded http://www.androidfiles.org/ruu/sec...06__NV_NV_SPCS_1.43_release_271101_signed.zip
I know i need to change filename to PG86IMG.zip and put it on phone and then what?
This is what I have on phone.

Never mind, I took a leap of faith and tried to follow directions. After a few hours and a lot of reading and cussing, I was able to get my radio and prl updated and change hboot. But i just updated to last july update, the newer one will have to wait for awhile. Hopefully this will help with all the sprint problems I've been having lately. The roaming sucks, it seems like it won't use any other signal except sprint. In a few places, my wife's blackberry has 3 bars, my evo 3d has no signal, that is just c-r-a-p.
Hello all,
First post on XDA; I've been searching for this issue for the past 4 hours, and found very little. I hope I haven't missed anything.
Long Story
Had a rooted phone, tried to flash JellyBAM; worked, except that kernel got messed up (touchscreen didn't work). Problem remained even after restoring HTC Sense. I assumed it was b/c my phone still had S-ON.
After successfully running DirtyRacun on my Evo 4g LTE, I flashed JellyBAM 7.6.2 (using TWRP 2.4.4.0, wiped Dalvik, Cache, Factory Reset & System first). Everything worked fine, except that there is no mobile network whatsoever. When booting JellyBAM, it prompts me to activate my phone:
"A special call needs to be made to activate your phone service. After pressing 'Activate', listen to the instructions provided to activate your phone."
I do this, but the problem is that I get an automated message: "Your account is not authorized to make calls to this phone number. If you would like to have additional capabilities added to your account, please call Customer Service."
This is the same message I get trying to make any phone call. Nothing (data, calls, etc) works on the mobile network now. I called Sprint to see if they could simply de-active then reactive my phone, but it appears to them as already activated. The tech I spoke w/ thinks I may have deleted the Sprint programming.
This sounds plausible, but what's REALLY WEIRD is that *2 still dials Sprint perfectly, and holding 1 still tries to check voicemail. So clearly some aspects of it connect with Sprint still. I have no idea what's messed up, unfortunately.
I don't believe JellyBAM is the culprit here, b/c after DirtyRacun but before flashing JellyBAM, I still had this problem.

Android Version: 4.2.2
Radio Version: 1.12.11.1119
Kernel version: 3.0.73-g5d13a2c
JellyBAM 7.6.2
Question
Is there anything I can do to fix this so that my phone can reconnect with and use Sprint's mobile network? I'd really like to preserve JellyBAM, S-Off, and Root, given the amount of time and effort it took to get those working. Thank you so much, any help would be greatly appreciated.
First, try updating your radio.
I'd say to RUU back to stock and see if the problem persists. If it does then take it to Sprint and they should give you a replacement if you have the YEP. I had a similar but not so screwey situation, a few actually, like yours and when I lost all network Sprint replaced my phone. I've always had success dialing my voicemail after attempted activations and then my phone would kick back in within about 15 minutes while keep texting and calling my home phone.

Thank you for your response, I really appreciate the help.
I updated my radio, which went smoothly, but unfortunately it didn't work. What's frustrating is that I don't even know what the problem is. I know it isn't the ROM I flashed (since it had the same problem on HTC Sense before I flashed JellyBAM). It seems to have started after DirtyRacun S-Off process.
I'm still pretty noob so I don't know what else besides radio it could be. I'm really reluctant to try and restore my phone to stock due to the amount of time I spent learning to root and S-Off it. Wouldn't want that to be in vain, though I might not have a choice at this point.
Is there something I should try next?

Before calling sprint, Google the 4g lte dialer codes, I'm sure there is one that activates the wireless reactivation process (that was the case with my old gs3)

I know after achieving S-off, I had to call Sprint due to a security issue. I couldn't make calls or anything.
It was painless and took all of 5 minutes.

how i can downgrade my htc one sprint from 4.4.2 to 4.1.2 to unlock it for gsm ??
You would have to S-Off to be able to do that. Is this for the Sprint version? If so, the international unlock works well, but if you want to use it in the US, you will most likely have a lot of connection issues trying to stay connected to the towers when you move. It likes to drop off and you have to reset it a couple of times to get service back. Very frustrating. If you don't have the Sprint version, disregard.
