Can someone explain to me very clearly how I can use my own custom weather icons in Zooper Widget.
I have the .zip file already and tried to put it in the Zooper files on my phone but it never showed up when selecting the bitmap option.
Thanks in advance.

If so, can you explain how you did it because I haven't been able to figure it out yet. By the way, I've already tried all of the standard methods explained here on the forums.
I figured it out!
In Dinkn's glassy icons the facebook file name is: Start_Icon_HTC_facebook.png. This file resides in the windows folder. When you change the icon lt doesn't create a facebook.bmg in the cash. The solution is to make a copy of the original file, rename it to facebook.png and past it to the folder of your choice. Now when you use one of the icon changing programs to change the icon it will create the bmg file in the cash and the new icon will show in the quicklinks menu--sweet
i just used that ICON changer and it worked 1st time...
just hit the show all default icons...then from there..replace it with the one you want
I have extracted all of the files and found the images for the icons that come with the launcher and I'm wondering how I can replace them with ones I have edited in photoshop...
I have modified them and tried placing them on my sd card then selecting them from "custom icon" but they wont show up full size like the stock icons do when I select one from "LauncherPro Icons".
Any help would be appreciated!
I don't know how to make a perfect Sense dock button replacement. Not even searching around on launcherpro.com/forum or lpsense.allo-mobile.fr/ made anything very clear.
In the meantime, for a custom icon, I've tried using a 640x480 transparent canvas with an ~350x350 icon in the bottom right hand corner of that canvas, exporting to png.
This seems to at least get the desired icon somewhat properly sized and centered in its dock area. Definitely not perfect though.
Editing your icons
Download Apk Manager 5.0 from xda developers website or search at google (apk manager 5.0 zip and you will find mediafire link), and try to edit the apk with it, first extract then edit the images then zip it then sign it, now uninstall previous apk and install new one(it was unable to overwrite the apk but installed after uninstalled the original).
All images are changed will create a new style sense ui using apk manager.
Hello everyone, I'm trying to finish up a theme in widgetlocker but I'm running into an issue. I want to change the image for an ICS style slider. The image I found online is 256x256. I tried resizing it with Gimp to 162, 132, and even 102 but everytime I zip the folder and put it on my phone, it shows up as the huge 256x256 size. In the file properties for the resized image it shows as whatever I have resized to. Why will it not shrink in my theme? Any ideas?
I tried installing a new flip font apk on the phone but it is not showing on the list of fonts to change it to. Is there something I am missing to get this to work? Thanks

Let me clarify:
You installed a font changing .apk, and can't find it in the system settings>display>font type?
If that is the case, it wouldn't show up there because the .apk you installed should be in your app drawer, you would use that app the change your fonts instead of the system menu.
Or you put a font .ttf/.otf in the system/font folder and it doesn't show in the list?
If it is this one, I have a bunch in that folder that don't show up in the list either, it seems it only picks the stock fonts to display.
If you have tried using the font changing .apk to change the font and it isn't working, my guess is because LG lets you choose between multiple fonts it isn't using the default Android system font name (I don't remember the name off the top of my head) but instead using one of the custom font names.
If you want to change it yourself, you could try to replace the font you currently have the settings set to in the system/font folder with one of your choice (rename the stock font with a .bak at the end and rename the new font the same name as the old font, then make sure it is the same font your settings are set to).
All this is just speculation though, LG may have implemented the custom fonts differently, but I know they are in that system/font folder, so I think it could work. This is assuming you are rooted of course.
does anyone have detailed information about showing custom fonts in native font menu
I'm trying to create a new folder that I can then link to a themer action or hotspot (for example, a folder with direct dials), but I'm having difficulty figuring out how to do this. Is this possible? Should I revert to the default homescreen to create to the configure folder, then re-apply my themer theme? I can't give up themer now that I have it, but I'd really like to add some custom folders or categories..

Hi,
For now, Themer's hotspots can only be linked to the default Smart Category folders that have been provided. We recommend you change the folders image to a blank.png file so that it will provide the same effect
