I'm having some issues with BBM not sending/receiving text messages on my Data plan unless I toggle a wifi connection first and then turn it off.
Anyone else have this issue?

no it's working perfect with data too. try to delete BBM and then install it again or check that you haved data connection properly.
if it is working with wifi then i think there is no prob in BBM.

I have tried reinstalling and for sure my data connection isn't an issue since it works with everything else.

SOLVED!!!!!!!!
Just only change APN !
Create new APN and just fill APN same with your previous APN, and other leave blank.

It might be a baseband problem......I don't know much
Sent from my MB300 using XDA App
How can i fix's that? I like cyanogenmod much but i need wifi because i only have 100mb each mond of mobile data
You should try flashing different basebands. Search for modem collection on the developer subforum.
Try changing your regulatory channels in wifi settings> advanced.
I flashed another baseband but it dind't work
P.s. I flashed the baseband that was working for me on other rom's
P.s. It stucks by Get ip addres

Off topic so I appologise. But dude what's the kindle like? Thinking of getting one? Back on topic, I find if you turn sleep policy to never then it solves most issues. Also some routers I've heard cause issues.

Yeah, I've had those wifi problems too. But the wifi works after a while. How? I don't know. And I have no idea whats causing the problem either.
this is a general problem with CM7. If you press the wifi icon sometimes it won't get an ip but if you long press it again it takes you to wifi settings menu and for some weird reason it gets conected. This does not happen all the time but bottom line is that wifi is working.
Sometimes the above method doesn't work, you hane to disconnect and connect again. Flashing different basebands will not do the job as I tried this before. It's just a small issue.
After flashing CM7 for Atrix I can't send email. I can receive fine. Any ideas?

Check your SMTP server settings.
That was the first thing I did. Tried them every way possible. May go back to different rom.
Are you on wifi trying to send?
I only ask because I had the same issue, until I realized my gmail smtp settings wouldn't work while I was using my home wifi network.
I know I know, silly mistake. But hey, they happen

What rom you're using has no bearing on it. Your settings are incorrect.

Change the device profile to generic ics and enable mms clamping like the 2 posts say above AND right under mms clamping, also click routing fix. You can also can channels so it doesn't interfere with other devices and change security type and password.

I'm also having the same issues with wifi tether and I'm not sure where I would change the device profile. Any help would be appreciated.

"WiFi Tether" is an app. Should be on the market. Works better than HTC hot spot, and you can tether over 4G with it

I just went to device profile which is in the setting of your WiFi tether app. Under device profile set it to nexus CDMA and should give you no problems

I am assuming you can't download using your data plan?
Check your settings and see if you have a data limit checked on. This might stop you from using the data for apps etc . I think try enabling background data too. (Press menu in your data usage page for the options to tick) make sure you don't put a limit and enable mobile data

I would bet that you need to check (and change) your APN settings, if you aren't able to use mobile data properly.
Google for your provider's settings and enter them accordingly.

That's very informative.
If you want help you need to provide details, what doesn't work?
Clear APNs and get internet settings, do you see the APNs set corrtectly?
Can you access the internet with that SIM on another phone?
