I was using Stock ROM 6.1.1.b.1.10 with Phantom Kernel and do a little change in apps, then suddenly stupid me want to update to Google Bean Z (u can find in Go Development) without recovery neither flash back to Stock. Now my phone's bricked. Every time I boot, it stucks at Phantom Logo but I can access to CWM, I try to flash back via Flashtool but when I connect and hold Power+ Volume -, my computer say Device not Recognized....and nothing happen :| i'm using window 8.1 and I just installed Flashtool 3 hrs ago(I've installed all the drivers), I don't know if this is Flashtool Problem or my phone problem, can anyone detect for me ?
Are you sure you've installed the drivers like this way?

In Flashtool drivers your Xperia Go, Flash mode, and Fastboot drivers must be checked.
yup I did that way and all the drivers checked, then I tried to delete USB HUB Driver but when Flashing, installing phone driver still Not Recognized....
USB 3 ports won't work, you must use USB 2 or change in BIOS xHCI to EHCI if you have this option.
Also I read someone said windows 8.1 has no solution yet.
So sad to hear that On the way back to win 7....

Sorry, i'm new here, i've downloaded roms and some other stuff here, but now i have a serious problem. I had this GoogleBeAnZP rom on my phone (i had root, unlocked bootloader and CWM) and it was fine!!! actually it was running smooth, but i wanted to try another rom, i tried to instal a JB custom rom that i saw over the internet, so i entered the recovery mode and installed this rom with aroma installer. it said that everything was installed, and that it was going to reboot, so i waited, and NOTHING HAPPEND!!! now, i try to enter flashmode to instal the rom from flashtool and i can't even enter flash mode. my cellphone is really dead, all it does is turn a red light when i connect it. once it turned on the green light like when it enters flash mode but not anymore. I've hold the down button before connecting it, like a hundred times, trying to reboot the phone pressing the up volume button and the power button at the same time but its dead. it keeps showing the red LED indicator but not starting. i've been reading hundreds of posts but no cellphone does what mine does. i tried SEUS, flashtool but both require flashmode and I simply can't enter!!
All i get is this red light from the LED but no response in my phone. the screen doesn't blink neither vibrates

Hey bwhite93, did u find a solution to recover the bricked xperia, mine is the same as like yours was, only flashing red light sometimes, no flash mode no fastboot nothing. Was wondering if u found a solution.
Fix
Find the driver intaller inside flashtool and install it if still not work try the pc compinion

So I have an Xperia P, and ever since I upgraded to JB, I have been having several problems. The system lags a LOT. I cannot see any pictures in my Album, though the pictures are there, when I try calling someone it lags so much that the process ends. And it lags a lot when I try picking up such that I can't hear what they're saying for upto 5 seconds. Either that, or it just ends
So I've been attempting to flash a custom OS, but I've been facing some problems. I have rooted my Xperia. When I went on the xda forum to get the flashboot drivers, the link is dead. I installed them from another source.
When I turn off my phone and I hold the power up button, the blue LED light comes on and I go to device manager to install the custom drivers from the SDK bundle. By that time, my phone's blue LED light wouldve gone and the drivers aren't installed. At least I don't think it has. Soo I really need your help on installing the fastboot drivers and unlocking bootloader so I can flash a custom OS. Please help.

Which Windows version are you using? If you are using Windows 7 then try this:-
Download this ZIP File.
Extract the contents on Desktop
Now Open Device Manager by RIGHT CLICKING ON MY COMPUTER>MANAGE>DEVICE MANAGER
Now connect your phone in fastboot mode to the PC by holding the Vol + button while plugging in the cable.
You will see a new device in the device manager with an error sign on it. Instantly double click on that because it will disappear as the blue LED disappears.
A dialog box will open. Disconnect the phone and dont connect it.
Go to drivers tab
Click on update driver.
Now select BROWSE MY COMPUTER FOR DRIVER SOFTWARE
Now select LET ME PICK FROM A LIST OF DEVICE DRIVERS ON MY COMPUTER
Now select HAVE DISK
Now click on browse.
Open the extracted folder and select the android_winusb.inf
Click OK
Select the ADB driver from the updated list.
Now connect the phone again in fastboot mode again.
And then click on NEXT. You have to do this very quickly because as soon as the BLUE LED disappears the driver will not load but it will show that it is loaded.
Try This, If fails, tell me, will tell you other method.

I have another problem now. Since I unlocked bootloader, when I turn my phone off, it automatically turns back on, but after the sony kogo appears, nothing more happens, the screen is still in use, a faint light comes off of it, but it's blank and black. I had to wait for it to run out of charge so i could turn it back on. Any help?
What version of JB you got?

U pressed fastboot button so blue LED came and it wont flash.........
try entering flash mode by pressing vol down while pluggi in usb u shud get green light den flashing starts...........
Install flashboot drivers before flashing

Install fastboot and flash mode drivers with the installer in flashtool directiry (drivers).

hi i flashed a rom and when i clicked reboot phone in cwm it vibrated and black screen. now phone wont turn on or go into fast boot. when i plug in charger the red led comes on for about 2 seconds gthen goes off. also if i hold vol down and power the green led comes on for a second and goes off. if i hold power and vol up blue led comes on for a second then goes off. i dont know whats happend.
now problem is i cant use seus or sus or pc companion. non of them recognize phone. also it doesnt charge. however pc recognises it. and comes up with cant recognize error. i have installed drivers with flashtool. i have tried flashing stock ftf but my phone cant be found in flashtool. also if i hold odnw the power button the red led comes on for a bit.
is there anyone that can help me?

I Think the only way to save your phone is flashing it using flashtool.
First of all try recharging your battery using an universal charger.
then try reinstalling usb driver.flashmode and fastboot drivers with flashtool (fastboot and flashmode are not compatible with windows 8.1)
Normally flashtool will recognize it without a problem.

yeah, with flashtool, install the drivers and then try to install the custom ics, when flashtool ask you to put the phone on fastboot just volume down while you connect the usb cable, it worked for me
thanks all . finally managed to fix the phone. issue was i was using flashtool on windows 8.1 even though i disbaled driver signature. some features still dont work on windows 8.1 . i then used my windows vista laptop and everything worked fine
so phones rooted with custom rom. happy days
Ok, hi guys... yesterday I misinterpreted some instructions before flashing Rajeev's PureX v4.1 rom... was on Niaboc79's ExistenZ Y v2.6.0... so went on, wiped and factory resetted... then, instead of formatting system/data, I formatted data AND system so obviously now it gets stuck at the Sony logo when booting because it has nothing to boot up and the only way to shut it off is with the small red button on the left side until it vibrates, resets then shuts off...
I then told myself I could simply flash a .FTF back from FlashTool, but alas, not this time... ok, I'm on D6503 Z2 with locked bootloader which is not unlockable... and now, when my phone's off and FlashTool asks to connect phone in flash mode the phone doesn't act as it normally would. when plugging usb cable, instead of the original green led, it quickly shows red, then green then nothing and on flashtool we can now see an error which is shown in the screenshot below.
Drivers are installed and I guess the problem now has to do with the bogus leds as they are the same just trying to connect in flash mode out of FlashTool... I Googled and read a lot about it yesterday on XDA and the only potential answer I could find was telling to flash a .ftf whrough FlashTool which was my first bet anyway but now, I really can't think of anything and would please appreciate your assistance about that... I hate to say this but I must admit what I'm requesting now is some help to get me through my own f*** up, please...
Might be a corrupt .ftf , try downloading another one or build your own with xperifirm+flashtool.
You can also try repairing with sony pc companion app...

In fact I tested with 4 different ftfs I know are working... and as I said the problem is with the inability of phone to enter flash mode and its wrong leds when connecting to flash mode; not a software issue... I also tried with PCCompanion but it fails at detecting the phone since it freezes at the Sony logo and doesn't boot anything...
EDIT it also doesn't charge when I plug usb or ac. Instead it quickly toggles leds red, green, none one time and stays off... same way as when I try connecting it to flashmode holding vol-...
I've flashed many sony phones that don't boot / bootloop with flashtool and they always come to life again unless there's hardware problems
You phone is beeing detected in flashtool as beeing in flashmode so it's entering the correct mode. As a last resort i would try flashing on another pc/os , i still think it's pc related... are you using any android emulator on the pc? bluestacks / andy or that kind of stuff?
They cause loader.sin errors too... had that happen once on my work computer, uninstalled bluestacks and flashed fine afterwards.
Sorry i can't think of anything else right now...
I don't have another pc, but I reinstalled a pc backup so it is as when I originally set it up... reinstalled flashtool, reinstalled drivers and launched FlashTool to flash a .FTF. It just did the same as before flashes red, flashes green then nothing but the same errot message in FlashTool... but I noticed one thing, everytime I just plug phone to pc, Flashtool states it's in Flash mode as it is not. it was simply plugged in... and I don't use such as BlueStacks... and anyway the phone's leds react wrongly first then the asked action, flashing, cannot be applied hence the error message in FlashTool... thanx for your help...
I'm really used to flashing stuff and I know my mistake now was to format the system partition. From that time, it became impossible to flash any .ftf and the only info, signal I've got is the led quickly displaying red then green led intead of just green then starting to flash, when cable is plugged in, holding VOL-...
Damn formatting the system partition should not hard-brick your phone bro i've done exactly the same mistake on my also unlockable BL Z2 a long time ago, wiped everything and rebooted the phone without flashing the rom xD phone would only show sony logo (can't remember led status) but it flashed normally and came back to life. maybe you got really really unlucky and your bootloader got messed up somehow :| You already did everything i would have done without success, i'm also out of ideas... but xda is full of great minds, maybe someone else can help you better.
You are absolutely right... I had done the same mistake on my xperia T, a while back, and a simple flash from flashtool had taken care of it... I don'T even come to ask for help, usually... when I mess things up, I have always succeeded in bringing the thing back to life... until now...

EDIT: Oh, even worse now... when flashtool is done preparing the FTF to be flashed and asks to plug in phone holding VOL-, I tried just plugging the phone WITHOUT holding any button and it did the exact same error I screenshotted earlier, with same red/green/none scheme... If you just power on the phone and connect it to pc (no flashtool running) does your pc device manager detect your phone? what device does it detect? If you connect in fastboot mode (vol up + plugin usb cable) what do you see in the device manager? Just throwing some ideas now, at least we're keeping the thread alive, maybe someone more expert will look at it too

However, I can boot into fastboot and then it's detected in device manager as in the screenshot below... But, it does flash red just before turning blue for fastboot... just the same quick red flash as when I plug USB in...

But, it does flash red just before turning blue for fastboot... just the same quick red flash as when I plug USB in... it also doesn't charge when plugged in... no orange led... was at about 90% when it stopped working...
Just a quick tip- don't use the red button, it is only for emergency and it is annoying to open the flap everytime. Instead, use the Power + Volup and hold for a few seconds.
WOW! reallly can'T say why it didn't work first time, but I tried reinserting sd card and retake it out, started one last time to flash a .ftf and it worked.... Great, now back on my backup... everything working as it should now....
thanx to @BlAckXpeRia for the reminder tip... Red button should only be used when everything else failed to shut the phone down...

Was trying to flash boot.img from CWM recovery 6.0.3.0 via fastboot. It flashes succesfully, but after rebooting the tablet it doesnt show any signs of life. Was trying EMMA for solving , Flashtool to change kernel, but when plug it through usb, it haven't launched and PC don't recognize any device connected. When i press Vol+ Vol- Power at the same time LED lights with white 3 times and that all.
Was using rooted Lollipop 5.1.1 with unlocked bootloader.
Is there any possibility to reanimate it or its finished totally.

Here's what you can do..
Press and hold the Power button and the Volume Up button for ten seconds until you see a white light flashing three times. While doing this somewhere around in 5 seconds you'll see white led flashing once, but keep on pressing those buttons till it flashes next three times.
After that your tablet will be turned Off.
You can put your device in flash mode and flash a new ROM from Xperia flash tool.
If you get the error "Unknown sources and USB debugging must me enable for flash mode, then your option can be to flash the ROM from fastboot.
Download a ROM (CyanogenMod or any with custom recovery).
Flash the boot.img via fastboot and reboot your device.
Once done you should see a led lit up while the device is booting (pink/magenta color in case of CyanogenMod).
Press the volume up/down button and you should be able to go to recovery mode.
From here you can recover your device easily
And before you do anything make sure you've charged your device well.

Hi there! I think I have hardbricked my tablet (SGP321) too. The thing is, mine won't start, no matter what I press and do. If I press the power button it blinks white and if I press the UP button with it, it blinks three times. After that nothing happens. If I connect a USB to it, it just flickers first red and then green. And thats it.
I tried to flash [7.1] CyanogenMod 14 [POLLUX/POLLUX_WINDY][UNOFFICIAL] by CaHbKaUp and chose the Pollux Version from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-tablet-z/general/rom-cyanogenmod-14-t3496758. I also flashed the recommended GApps.
I whiped the sd-card in recovery (twrp) first and then flashed the new rom and GApps.
I think I chose the wrong version, maybe? I flashed my tablet once and I thought I could do it again, the same way as before. Guess I was wrong.
If there is anything I can do to get this back to work, please respond!

Just ran into the same problem. So there are stil people looking
Didn't know about the bootloader.
Has Android 5.1.1 Stock rom,
rooted it
installed XZDualrecovery from here:

Then it showed up twrp and I flashed lineage-14.1-20170417-UNOFFICIAL-pollux.zip
ticked "reboot" and ??? nothing

Reflash device with Flashtool.
You can't flash custom ROMs with XZDR recovery.
