I wanted to ask why my s2 when I turn it on I must wait 5 min to start android .. And when is on is very laggy, must wait 30 sec to unlock , when I open the browser have lag to etc .. This happens just with Stock firmwares installed jelly bean , ics but same problem ..
Maybe i need to find the original stock firmware for my device because i dont know where is come from . I bought from a person on a web site for 80 euro .
Can anyone help me pls I'm from Kosovo and sory for my english

Did you try out any custom roms?
maybe that will help you out
Or if you want to stick with stock, search for the latest firmware for your region and flash it

When it comes to flashing there is no such thing as region compatible firmware
You can flash whatever firmware you want
As you are saying that you cannot find the firmware for your region go ahead and flash other stock jellybean official firmwares

why do u want to dwngrade to GB ?, u can try the stable ICS 4.0.3 version of stock firmware instead
u can find all stock firmwares pertained to region's at www.sammobile.com

As i said in my earlier post visit the link provided in it and get registered free there and dwnld the GB 2.3.6 firmware available there and flash the same using ODIN on ur PC
this is what i find for now for indian GB 2.3.6

When I install gingerbread on my SGS2 and after isnatll found some error and if I want to install again Jelly Bean then its possible? After install gingerbread If SGS2 not start and its frozen in Startup Picture then its possible to reinstall any os? THis is very important for me cause I have just 1 mobile... Theire is any chances to death my mobile for installation OS? Please reply as soon as possible...

Yeah you can until you can access ODIN/Download mode, just flash the ROM from there and it will be fine.
If you could root your phone I'll suggest you to try out neatrom as its very fast and smooth, I had GB but I never got experience like this ever before. :thumbup:

No no Sir I din't mean that ICS/Jelly Bean are not user friendly... They are very useful and user friendly but I comfort very much in Gingerbread. Last U used Galaxy R gingerbread os and now I used SGS2 Jelly Bean but I face some minor issue, 1) like phone does not lock power key or automatic option if enable, I mean to say that my phone does not lock, 2) One folder in SDcard name Ringtone & alomost 30 ringtone are their but when I play all of this or play one by one then its play but like name is another and play another ringtone and same thing happended when I go settings and selecting ringtone but this problem is only in this folder but oher folder are fine, name given another and play another and I don't like file manager cause its always enable file selected mode not like gingerbread,when U need then its show selected one not always but its not a big deal or prob but my main 2 problem is locking or display 1 name or play 1 file.

Try to clear cache and dalvik cache into recovery may be it will help

I do risk and I installed global version of Gingerbread 2.3.6 and its working fine and then I installed Official Indian Gingerbread and its totally working fine and all are working like charm..

Hi I'm trying to look for the stock 4.1.2 kernel for the international version GT9300. I have the original ROM but decided to change the kernel to Yank555 but since i would like to update to 4.2 would like to do it through the samsung Kies (if you have better suggestions, they are welcome, since i dont want all the samsung crap which took very long to get rid off) Otherwise I will have to jump again in the world of looking for a ROM
on a side note, anyone knows which kernel would be best for the MIUI rom? i tried it last year but i had lags and some things didnt work.

I'm now using leaked firmware 12\12\2013 open europe by the way i'm 4m egypt , and now i wanna downgrade to 4.1.2 i already backed up efs on 4.3 jb rom shall now i install 4.1.2 or i shoul do any other steps .
another question is swiss 26\12\2013 4.3 the most stable and fast rom or if it is not , what else is good

and began to leave 4.3 official few days ago. if you downgrade to 4.1.2 can install a modem having supeior mg4 or so you would not have problems imei.

If u did not back up ur efs before u flash 4.3, it is useless. Not entirely useless but useless at this situation.

Flashing roms in CWM is same in all phones...
If you looking for an AOSP roms, you can try SlimBeans... I use it and its really smooth and fast and low battry drain
If you Looking for Samsung base Roms, Try Wanam Lite or Android Revolution HD...
there is lots of note 3 ported roms but i found most of them laggy and unstable...

Wat do u expect from a rom tat has apps tat are programmed to run in 3 gbs of ram compared to our 1 gb.

may i ask where can i find the stock rom 4.3 Jelly Bean and a noob tutorial on how to flash it with Odin. I choose Odin instead of Kies because i don't want to unroot my s3.. (im also currently looking for the answer through google fyi)

may i ask what are the differences of each firmware from each countries listed there?. are they all the same?.
my samsung galaxy s3 is made in Hongkong (color purple) GT19300. but Im from the Philippines. my samsung galaxy is not sim locked .i can insert any sim that i want. is it ok to choose the US firmware instead?. is it ok not to choose a firmware from hongkong because i can't understand chinese languange.

I have flashed lots of official roms, but i didn't see any important differences between different countries roms... Just some language features...
I'm persian but i flashed MK6 rom that is for Europe, I've got no problem... I can even type Persian...
For 4.3 rom, you've got just few choices and best of them is MK6... The other 4.3 updates have a lots of bugs but MK6 is almost bug free rom...

ICS is not really a very good rom and I would recommend KK or JB
you should be good if you go from a GB firmware to a JB one
or if u want you could flash a custom kernel in odin and then flash a KK ROM like CM11 or Slimkat

It`s very safe to flash Jellybean or Kitkat. Download the latest jellybean from sammobile and flash it with odin.. Look around for tutorials how to. Note that you will lose all your data, but your phone will 100% work. That brickbug was only on 4.0.4 version.. To be sure and safe flash jellybean and after that flash PhilZ-cwm6 - Safe Stock Based Kernel. If you need more info, i`ll help you. Cheers!:good:
