Where should I post this for rom devs. I don't want to post it development because even though I made it and its rooted, contains the modem, is deodexed, has init.d, busybox etc. I dont have my s4 with me to confirm it would flash. Also I left the knox and security in it, so that analysis could be done. Thoughts?

So this is a rom that will be flashable through twrp/cwm on mdk? I would love to give it a test run for you but I'm at work right now. Send me a pm and I'll test it in about an hour or so. As long as I can Odin back to mdk of course.

Lately I've been rocking CM10 nightly mods and updating them somewhat on a daily basis.
Kind of tired of this 4.1.2 mods, not that they're not good, I just want something new I guess.
I was wondering if anyone knows of any 4.2 ROM out for the Note i717?
Maybe another ROM? What's your favorite ROM(s)?
Any suggestion helps.
Thanks in advance.
Well ....
Samsung is telling us that an upgrade is on the way.
That being said ...the source will spawn many changes for new builds.
CM is busy merging several commits, and is likely preparing for some 4.2 love ....g

Ok,
Having a few issues and I have no idea how to fix them. I rooted my s2 using odin and siyah v6.05 and I have installed a ROM. I have followed all the instructions, wiped the cache etc and when I re boot I can't get past the start up screen. I had installed the ROM and it booted up fine but the home button, menu and back button didn't work so after some reading I believe this to have been a kernal issue? So I flashed a kernal that would fix it and it's now just stuck. I have re-flashed the previous kernal and it's the same.
Apologies if it's unclear as I'm rubbish at explaining stuff. I have rooted and flashed my HTC sensation and turned s-off sucesfully and it seemed a lot easier than this and I am led to believe this is an easier phone to root etc.
Any help is much appreciated. I'm fairly new to all this but have experience with linux and ms systems so if you can explain stuff I will pick it up easy.
Many thanks
Andrew

Verizon rolls these out in batches.
You can try manually checking for the update - Settings, More, About phone, Software update.
I've been checking every half hour. I odin back to ml1. Did kies emergency install. Did verizon updateer thing. After 4 days you would think it would be here. I did notice in file manager there is sdcard/emulated/0. What is this.

That's a normal folder path in JB. There is the manual update in the other threads if you're dying to apply the update.
Why don't you download this update.zip to your external sdcard and boot to stock recovery and apply it.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2502591

This will only work on Dev edition devices... I think. It will not work with the standard vzw note 3. I think it best that you remove this thread as it will most likely turn into a q and a and help forum.
Seeing as you are not the original developer and, if I'm not mistaking, cyanogen mod Dev team does not like posts made on stuff they have not officially released yet.
