GENERAL COMMENT AND REQUEST:
We ask all the regular contributors here to please answer the "xxx is broken" or "yyy force closes" statements without an attached logcat with something like "LOGCAT or it didn't happen"
Feel free to be creative but DO NOT respond with wipe cache/clear data or any other attempted solution before the reporting user has taken the trouble to actually try to help solve the problem (e.g. by attaching a logcat, detailed steps to reproduce etc.).
We need to force more discipline in how issues are reported which will help us all find and squash bugs that may exist.
Just clearing data etc. may in fact cause us to never find the bug that caused the issue and just makes for lazy users.

I will update Enigma rom one more time. Then i will help you solve remaining issues because it is hard to handle many projects with people asking and asking again.
Best regards

Black screen here too. Wiped data cache and system from CM 10.2 with the GNU kernel, but no luck. Even waited for about 10 minutes, but no magic happened. =/

Patience, the devs are working on it! Percy_G2 will post further information here if he makes some progress.
As far as I know the current builds don't boot to launcher/lock and adb isn't working, which makes debugging and fixing a lot harder.
If you want to know the current state of 4.4 on Novathor devices I suggest you look in this thread too: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2511734.
The last few pages of http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2454745 also contain more information about the current problems.

@percy_g2 there's already a port for Xperia Z device, It's AOSP and it's great (almost bugless) I know it's useless overall but potentially it worth a look,

Seams not. But if it bootloop it shouldn't be difficult to fix i think

Thread cleaned again.. This is a development thread please do not spam the thread with pointless posts. I'm sure the developer would prefer not to have to trawl through multiple pages of posts which are useless to the development of this ROM just to find the posts made by users who are trying to help

This is an unofficial build of CM10.1.
This is an attempt to stay close to official cm10.1 and not make crazy hacks to make things working.
This is a pure CM build, only contains official CM features. I will not add any other external feature/app/etc.
For an up-to date working/not working list, bug tracker, useful guides & FAQ, visit our new website:
http://legacyxperia.github.io
Requirements:
* Only use the included kernel for 100% compatibility, bug reports with non-standard kernel will be ignored.
Installation instructions:
1. Flash boot.img (in the zip) with fastboot or FlashTool
2. Install update zip in CWM recovery
3. Install Google Apps (gapps) zip in CWM recovery (this step is optional for those who don't want Google Apps)
4. Wipe data (do this only if you come from stock ics, a newer version of android like cm-10.2 or if you have problems like Force Close after installation)

Yes the sources are not the same, I'm trying to stay close to official cm10.1 and send bugfixes there. Bluetooth is not working here, it will be probably fixed with nAa's 3.0.8 kernel when it will be released. This rom is not intended for simple users, I created it to gather information from devs & advanced users to fix the bugs in a clean way.

Can i help in some way.
Will you add support for mini pro ?
my build was successful, no problems,
@anybody using this,
my apollo is crashing on the first launch. clear the data of apollo and report here if it crashes for you too.
i have a sd-ext partition, so that may have something to do with it, and so i want someone else to confirm this.
i have already created an issue on the cm bugtracker,
https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/CYAN-808
logcat is attached in the issue,
i'll try to see what causes the problem,
edit:
they have closed the issue, since coconut is not an official cm-10.1 phone.
smultron build is up, mango is coming next
i think we never be able to have a Working Bluetooth because 4.2 brings the new bluetooth stack ... We have to back port bluez which hikari no
tenshi did for cm42semc builds ... but let's hope for the best ..!

I'm already porting the new drivers for the BlueDroid stack.
EDIT: mango build is up
I just flashed your mango build and so far I can report two bugs:
1. Softkey Backlight not working (hardware key lighting fine though)
2. Light Sensor not working (constantly reports 0 lux as value)
Just minor stuff, does not really bother me, just wanted to state it.
Also the 4.2 camera is working in shufuking´s ROM (photos only), in your build it does not work at all, but I suppose that
is due to one of the "crazy hacks" you don´t want to use?

Key backlights is a known issue and it is already fixed in the next build
Have you flashed both kernel & rom? Check the FAQ about bug reporting
About the camera, don't expect working camera on cm10 or 10.1 roms except LegacyCamera. These apps will never work, only hope that sony is going to release some camera source or precompiled libs for JB or some dev makes magic things to fix the camera I'm not willing to hack android to fix camera since it requires extensive changes.
Hi Mike,
It's great you decided to do things sane way, try to push changes upstream and provide us with clean sources.
I have been playing with them for a few day to further customize my Cyanogen experience, but I can't figure out how to prevent 4.2 camera from building. Uncommenting BOARD_USES_LEGACY_CAMERA := true like on cm10 breaks the build for me. I suppose I could just remove camera project from manifest, but I'm going to build for mako so that's really not an option.
Thanks.
pinch to zoom in browser , gallery , and most app working ?

I tried both. The Kernel inside ZIP and nAa Kernel (which i am using now)
The reason why I did not include a logcat is because there is nothing related to light sensor in it (captured 2 logcats with and without automatic brightness and no difference in output)
When I activate automatic brightness it just dims the screen down to almost complete dark.
As said before this is not really an issue for me as I dont use auto brightness anyway. So maybe it is better to wait if other user report the same behaviour...

About Carbon
CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.
Please feel free to look at, build, and use our code on CarbonDev GitHub.
We would like to thank CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods and their code that was incorporated into this project. We also extend our gratitude to the devs whose code that we have incorporated. Proper authorship has been maintained and can be viewed on our repository.
Special thanks also go to Slim Rom for some of their features, PA, AOKP, and anyone else we may have borrowed commits from that hasn't been mentioned here. If you feel you have been unfairly left out, please - let us know.
While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash! If you have questions, ask your fellow users or ask us in #teamcarbon on freenode IRC.

Support
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our goo.im page linked above. It's new, but expanding fast. Just like us!
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Join our G+ Community: http://community.carbon-rom.com This is where we spend the bulk of our time and the best way to reach us and other community members. We update and frequent this community far more than XDA, simply due to time constraints and the convenience of G+.
5) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 ( Kitkat ), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
*/
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo and Device Tree for Nypon is here Github repo.Feel Free to Contribute and Help in this Project .
A great Tutorial by @Shaaan for taking logcat, dmesg, kmsg, etc LINK

Format data and cache
Flash the Zip
Reboot
Issues?
Updating From Previous Nightly/Weekly/RC
Download the ROM zip from OTA apps or from given links
Reboot to recovery [Press power button when Device vibrates to enter TWRP recovery]
Flash the ZIP
Wipe cache and dalvik cache
Reboot
Experience issues? As these are nightlies, bug reports are not accepted. You are relying on yourself and your peers in this thread for support!

FAQ's ( Frequently Asked Question's)
What is CyanogenMod ?
CyanogenMod (pronounced sigh-AN-oh-jen-mod), is a customized, aftermarket firmware distribution for several Android devices. Based on the Android Open Source Project, CyanogenMod is designed to increase performance and reliability over Android-based ROMs released by vendors and carriers such as Google, T-Mobile, HTC,Sony, etc. CyanogenMod also offers a variety of features & enhancements that are not currently found in these versions of Android.
What is Nightlies (BUILD-XXX) ?
Nightlies are automated builds that are built, well, every night. There is no human interaction with these and they are largely there just to see if the code added throughout the day will compile. These Build's are numbered with BUILD-XXX (XXX are build Number's).
What is SNAPSHOT (M) Build's ?
Snapshots (M builds) are builds done roughly once a month that has had some testing to make sure things are mostly working and released to the public. These Build's are generally stable then nightlies .
What is OpenDelta OTA Updater ?
OpenDelta is an OTA / delta updater designed to keep your ROM up-to-date while downloading as little as possible. If possible, it will download only the changes between your currently flashed ROM, and the latest available one, greatly reducing the download time and size.
Why status bar is not transparent ?
Change ro.config.low_ram=true to false in build.prop and reboot. It also enable's PhotoSphere and Blur lens in Google Camera.

We always welcome any kind of feedback, but if you report a bug, please, do it in a proper way, make a full detailed description about how to reproduce that bug, explain which add-ons you installed, tell us if you wiped cache and dalvik-cache or if you made a clean install, also, is very helpful to attach a logcat reproducing that bug, here you have a great guide about how to report a bug and take a logcat
