Well, my HD2's end call button has finally given out on me. I can still get it to work if I push down on it VERY hard...
Anyway, I was hoping someone could help me replace it with an on-screen shortcut or widget for Android and Windows please. I just want to be able to get to the power off reboot menu...
Any help is much appreciated.
Any ideas? I tried to make a shortcut to my homescreen using anycut (in android) but couldnt figure it out. Is there anyone that has had a end call hard button that stopped working for them?

When you are in a call on the droid os there is a softkey on the screen saying 'end call', just use it....simple beyond belief <----- DISREGARD THIS
Sorry about that, I see what your saying now, hmmm...check out the marketplace to see if you can find anything, I know there are a couple of apps there and if your lucky then you can get one free.

Yeah Ive looked, mabey not hard enough, and I cant seem to figure out how to create the shortcut either...Thanks for the advice, Ill keep looking through the market for anything....
Have a read through the Themes & Apps HD2 section on here. I recall a few End Button programs - but have never had the need to try them out.
Is there a way to determine what specifically caused a reboot or maybe the state of the phone right before a reboot? I'd like to find out what exactly is causing my phone to randomly reboot. If I could pinpoint an app that is causing the problem... problem solved!
Does a "reboot analyzer" type app exist?
Yes. Try alogcat in the market. Logcat can run in the background so it will catch what's causing reboot. If you don't know how to read a logcat theres a logcat reader in the market or just post the text file and someone could read it for you. It doesn't kill battery faster than any other app or nothing like that so don't be worried, just let it run.
Its not just a reboot analyzer it will tell you everything thats going wrong with your device etc. You should take some time to learn how to read it. Pretty neat..
Edit: I had some force closes with alogcat so download catlog it works great!
Thanks for the alogcat recommendation. You're right, I definitely need help reading it. What is the best way to learn what the logcat means? Right now, it's completely greek to me and I actually have a programming background (vba, c++, fortran).

Use catlog it will help you read it. Try opening catlog then turning your phone in landscape to get a feel of how it works!

Try searching around or visiting the android homepage for devs. Lots you can learn there.
ok I'm still battling this random instant voicemail deal. I can't figure this out. also when I do a master reset how come my was numbers are wrong. I always have to put them back in. is there anything I can do like a logcat to figure this out. its really driving me nuts
EDIT:
I have a alogcat file to upload if someone can look at it. i made it from the time i had made a call to about an hour later or as long as it could go just to see that inside the logcat you can see that the phone in action_phone_state_changed state=idle after i called out from the phone. anyways hope somoene can help i will upload the logcat if needed.
I've suddenly started seeing this "ReadyDLNA: WN..." in my Gallery. I have no idea what it is and would like to know how to remove it -_-
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks
