Hi Everyone,
I have Star S7589 and have installed the following rom (www.needrom.com/mobile/star-s7589-galaxy3/). However while the rom is awesome it seems that the menu is missing a key feature the ability to swtich the 3g sim vs 2g sim. Which is a key feature for any of these dual sim china mobiles.
I have tried everything in my power, changing the settings apk. Uncompiling and modifying the settings xml (I'm no dev/expert and working with limited knowledge) but to no avail.
Found this reference script (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2033329). But couldn't figure out how to utilize it.
Would really appreciate anyone's help on this. Please don't just read and ignore, i have truly exhausted all options prior to posting.

Just installed Vlingo and cant see some of the features advertised such as superdialer, and also answering questions and things from within the app.
When i ask for anything I get sent to google, where it does find what i want but not with the proper dialer !? Is it U.S. only ??

This is my first question here on this topic. And i am only make it becouse i cant find the answer anywhere.
I have a sgs2 with a modded rom. But i already use the cyanogen.
Both have the SIP active already but the cyanogen have the option to change user-agent.
There's any way to put this option in the other modded ROM too? Or there's any app with this option active?

i would like to develop an small app that will manage the automatic switching on and off ("airplane" mode) in an exact time of day sim cards on my dual sim phone.
Unfortunatelly I don't now from where to start. i searched google and some forums regarding managing dual sim-s but didn't find anything usefull.
From where can i start? where to look for some kind of code samples or anything else that could help me?
Development will be done in java.

I read too that it IS actually done by apps like MultiSim. I suggest you contact them? As no-one on the internet seems to know the answer. Let us know when you solved this :

Is there any solution using an android tablet with his (nokia) phone?

The point is NOT to be distracted from the phone while working,

PS. I know there are dual-sim boxes to use with BT on tablet
but they require sim-cloning and turning off the mobile in order to work.
We need a seamless procedure, thus, using the phone as the call router.

Hello forum friends. I have a Galaxy SII. Older but works great...except it will not stay with default apps. It asks to make a choice, then change it in defaults....over and over.
I cannot find a solution here or anywhere else.
I found other folks with the same issue...if there is a solution you or someone else could help quite a few of us.
