Hello I need some help.
I broke the phone software,
I tried to put something else but it seems that it was not compatible.
Now the phone just enter in recovery, the system does not launch.
Version is the S-ON. ..HBOOT 1.53.007 I found out that should be other version.
How can i do version downgrade?

Yes you can downgrade or upgrade the hboot all you'd like but first you will need to s-off your phone. Here is a guide that I looked over a lot before I did it. It does work. (http://androidforums.com/evo-v-4g-all-things-root/695161-s-off-root-fix-everything-all-in-one.html) I call it jbear wire trick. I am not the one who made it but it does really work. If you need me to I can make a video and re s-on my phone and do it again. I was thinking about doing this anyways. Yep I just did it on my EVO 3d cdma and it was great I'm on jbear hboot 1.50.5050 now and on a gingerbread Rom and I'm just loving this. Lol so fast.

OK i got my EVO 3D on boost and everything works like a dream. Only i forgot to root it prior. I did all the settings for my eris and incredible for metro pcs but after i root it will it be the same like with those only useing the info from boost?
If you can message me or e mail me that would be awesome.

1.5 I tryed the temp roots and they dont work for me.
As for flashing i found a guy on Craigslist.

i just flashed my 3d to boost......it was a learning experience.
im on hboot 1.50, so i cant get s-off yet. all & all it was easy, if you have the right tools.
does anyone know if its possible to flash a new radio on hboot 1.50

Can you PM me with info to do this...?? I have it partially done now, I think Im missing some things. The Evo 3D works (accepts calls and sends/receives texts)when the donor is on, but as soon as the donor goes off I cant dial out or receive/send texts on the 3D. WHat am I missing?? What tools did you use? I have all the majors CDMA WS 3.8 (new HTC tools) QXDM, QPST...

This man is right. Radio flashing is one of the things that's restricted with hboot 1.5
i thought that was one of the dis advantages of that damn htc unlock crap...........

fellas, i cant give away the info. i went thru hell to get it & the mods would kill it soon as i post it due to "legal" reasons (check the 4g forum, read between the lines for the missing info)

You need a computer as far as I know and use http://revolutionary.io/ This works like a champ.

read this there are Hboot drivers for windows make sure you have HTC sync uninstalled.
Anyways make sure your Hboot is one of the latest 2.16 i think is the latest.
What Hboot do you have? Your phone CDMA also?
Are you talking about the HTC EVO? Not the Evo design? Nor the EVO 3D

Also make sure there isn't any PC36IMG.ZIP on your phone. Prior to root.

Depends on the hboot. Revolutionary works with hboot 1.3 and 1.4. For hboot 1.5 the safest is with the HTC unlock method.
To figure out what hboot you have power down your phone and pull the battery for a few seconds to clear the fastboot. The press and hold vol. Down + power button which will boot into the bootloader and will tell you what hboot you have.
For hboot 1.5

Don't donwload that file unless your on the HTC EVO CDMA and know what HBOOT you are using the latest is 2.16 i think.
If your on the EVO 3D you will need to root HTC method if your hboot is 1.5.

EVO 4g? I could be wrong believe the last ota that was released borked the ability to root until a new exploit method is found.
My point is that if he has updated recently then idk if he can root.

So here's the lowdown. I am rooted and SuperSU installed, however I was hoping to get S-OFF using LazyPanda. I keep getting the "can not find the panda" error?? Anyone know how to get around this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! :good:

It won't work if you took the OTA and your Software version is 1.22.651.3 with HBOOT 1.15.

You cannot downgrade your bootloader.
If you have the newest ota you cannot get soff at this time.

So i am using a unbranded amaze which was s-off and super cided . It was working well untill I updated to the latest update from t mobile which is this : RUBY_ICS_35_S_TMOUS_2.14.531.3_R2_Radio_1.14.550L.17DC_30.78.550L.15_release_262141_signed
The update completed like it should but while updated nfc components it was written bypassed.... I installed H boot (jupontbear one) nd flashed recovery and flashed viper rom..!!!
I noticed that when I disable the smart flash the rom does not install correctly ...??
pls guyz help me out I thought this update would improve battery life but nah it has made it worst...!
PS: I intalled update again no luck still cant install rom without smart flash nd in bootloader it is still showing s-off

yes I did ful wipe after the update and than reupdated and installed the hboot nd flashd the recovry nd rom thn.

I am s-off and unlocked and super cid.
I am running viper. I put the firmware update on my sdcard and booted to boatloader. Ran the upgrade and rebooted and have had no issues. Still s-off and unlocked.and on viper.

People taking this unbranded thing too seriously. the only difference in unbranded version is the different cid it's like a access code since we don't have a ics ruu for that cid we had to s off our phones (breaking the access code so it accept any brand) that's the difference, other than that all Amaze 4G's are the very same so yea, I did the same way chevy did

No you flashed a different hboot therefore the s-off hboot you had no longer exists so therefore you are back s-on

Nonsense. You changed the hboot and became s on. Now you have to s off again and flash the right hboot which I think is the jbear one.

Lol yea I paraphrased because I hate to say it but sadly many people on the amaze forum can't read because we have a new wave of Noobs and FOBs (fresh off the boat) people.

Now for the 2nd time I'm telling you, you have to do the s off process again. At the end of the process if it asks you if you want the jbear hboot choose yes.
This isn't rocket science, you aren't programming a satellite, nor are you short circuiting your phone, so calm down people. If you are that worried and paranoid about it you need to leave xda and get an iPhone or something that doesn't challenge your mind and isn't technologically advanced. So if anyone else is reading this that's clueless about this process just keep that it mind.

I'm a big fan of FNG's (F**King New Guys)
After hours of mess ups I've finally created a COMPLETE (extremely detailed) video (guide) on how to To S-OFF, Unlock, Install Custom Recovery for the HTC EVO 3D (CDMA). There are 4 different parts. The first 2 parts are for the users that have already unlocked boot loader, installed recovery and a ROM. If this is your first time doing any of this to your stock HTC evo 3d (CDMA) then you can skip to part 3. In each video there will be a link in the description for the next part. I hope this works for everyone that watches it and please like, sub. And pass it on to others who need help with this! Thanks again to everyone who has helped me s-off my phone and do all i have done to it today! I LOVE XDA!! Please let me know of anything you don't understand or any problem you run in to (if you do).
Also, the videos might seem long I just want to assure that your HTC EVO 3D is s-off, unlocked, and recovery installed. Please watch all 4 parts and your phone will be all of this!
