Thank You. just reminded me that when i order my items to grab and MHL i owe u like shipping cost or something
For my Note 3 I have:
(1) Spigen Neo Hybrid Case
http://www.spigen.com/galaxy-note-3-case-neo-hybrid.html
(2) Moga Pro Controller
http://www.mogaanywhere.com/controllers/moga-pro-controller/
(3) Anker 15000mAH External Battery
http://www.amazon.co.uk/15000mAh-Portable-Ultra-High-Thunderbolt-Incredible/dp/B00D5T3QK4
I already had a 64gb sandisk memory card so I'm fine for storage. The Neo Hybrid is a really nice looking case, it offers good protection but it does add a fair bit of bulk to the phone. The Moga Pro works on some games but with the universal driver, I have it working with some emulators which is why I purchased it. I am not rooted btw. The Anker battery is for when I go on holiday, I have yet to receive and test it but it should charge my Note 3 fully at least 4 times! :good:

You have a nice setup.I was thinking about getting The Spigen case too,but I don't actually like simple cases like that.and the case which I want to buy has a stand. It's useful for me,because I watch a lot of movies and series on my phone. And I think I will use my PS3 controller, too.

I actually don't.I have now a 16 Gb Kingston Micro SD,but I want an upgrade.
Once you get a 64 sd, you wish you've always had it. I loaded all my movies from my laptop, playlists from iTunes, and still have a ton of free space.

Get a glass screen protector!
I would definitely recommend the Samsung Note 2 Multimedia Smart Dock:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCPCY9PSfSk
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWN43pnkg0s
I second the Moga Pro, best thing ive bought so far, get modern combat 3 and shadowgun deadzone and it feels like console. In HID mode I got it to work with pretty much any game/emulator that supports controller.

It's my understanding that the I717's NFC antenna is in the battery door. So if you use a N7000 battery cover on your I717, your NFC won't work--not that it'll work anyway with stock AT&T firmware.

I hope they have the surface combo also. The active may be too thick and bulky on an already large phone for my taste.

I don't think OtterBox makes a case for the Transformer Prime, but GumDrop makes one, and today is the first day they're shipping them out!
Also has very good protection for the Transformer Prime, even comes with a clear plastic layer to protect the screen!
Hello all!
So, if the winter storms allow it, on Thursday I will have my Xperia Ultra to replace my beloved Note 2. Shame on you Samsung for the "amazing" .18" display size increase of Note 3!
Anyways, as always I like to have my phone ready with some accessories.
I am still a bit confused about this whole magnetic charger thingy so please provide any feedback, recommendations etc or something I might be missing as well! :good:
For first...a basic cheap case for normal use..unless I change my mind and get something with a flip.
Cheapo case
Or maybe this one too for now as a battery and more protective case:
Case and 5000mAh battery
Car mount:

Finally for now this one confuses me: the dock/charger thing:
Are either of this the same and do I need something else besides the doc...? Like I have read about a magnetic cable too.

Doc2
I am still wanting a stylus but I would like some sort of case with a thin stylus that I can hide into the case...yes, I am used to my note spen
And also I was planning to get my usual Zagg screen protector but not sore sure if anyone has tried it since a search for Zagg showed no results.
Thanks for any help!
dealxtreme
I have deleted my long list of Xperia Z Ultra accessories found of dx.com/dealxtreme.com because they are utterly useless.
I ordered five things and ensured that they were not marked out of stock. A week later they sent me an email saying they couldn't send because something was out of stock. It proved impossible to respond to them: email bounced, phone numbers didn't work or were never answered, website chat didn't work. Their online ticketing system didn't allow creating a ticket to discuss order, you had to enter a SKU code and I didn't know which item was in doubt. Eventually I stumbled on a ticket type I could create (problem with paying) so I sent them a message and they admitted there were three items of the five they couldn't get! They asked for more time, after five days I told them to cancel the order with a full refund.
So, stay away from DX.com / dealxtreme.com as they are clearly utterly utterly useless.
This is the dock I got and have had good experiences with it. It is slow to charge but works well as a stand for you to charge your phone overnight.

How slow? The original DK30 uses around 2 hours to charge from 0-100%.
I see that Brando also have a bunch of X Z U accessories:
http://mobile.brando.com/shop/Sony-Xperia-Z-Ultra
they're more expensive than DX, but Brando in my experience are usually good quality and offer good customer service.
I've still not seen a car dock that I want to buy, I want one that will hold my XZU whilst its in its case, and attach to the windscreen. So far universal tablet holders designed for smaller tablets have looked like the best option.

Regarding car dock, I got one from infiniapps, really like the design and you can use it with a case, works better with a thin case. I would recommend the tablet version and then buy 2 of the phone metal inserts.

I'd stick with the DK30 dock. The maglock cable i used from DX.com wrecked my ultra. (after plugging in the magdock cable it started playing up. charging and discharging irregularly. Had to have a full mainboard replacement.) So its been 6 weeks and my ultra is finally being sent back to me after a major repair.
Link not working, can you try again?

Hello!
I have been using the ZGPAX S5 watch. It is very powerful, not sure if you have seen some of the videos I uploaded but it runs emulators like MAME, Dreamcast and can even use the PS3 controller
BUT, the company that built it is as good it if did not exist because forget about any support from them.
So if no dev picks it up, you are not going to get much from it.
It is more of a Standalone watch than a companion to your phone. Currently only using an app called TableTak is how you can get text messages and reply from the watch.
For charging I bought the original DK30 magnetic charger. Expensive but well worth it.
As for protection, I bought some "explosion proof" glass protector for the front and a regular film protector for the rear and just some cheap plastic case from ebay just for when I am carrying it around. At home etc I just like the feeling of it naked so no cases there
Also about the watch, I returned it as the GPS was not working and right now I am undecided between buying it again or waiting for one to have ALL the features without having to fight to get things working.

I did see the videos yes did look pretty good. Apart from using a very small screen lol. I take it you use emulators on your xzu though. I think my best bet is getting a smart watch 2 at some point then. Do you actually use the dk30 dock or you taken the cable out? I can't see myself getting 1 as I always have a flip case on the phone as too worried about the phone. And wouldn't want to keep taking it out of case etc. I would like to find a genuine Sony magnetic charger though. If I do keep my xzu I would like to get some good accessories. But at present my xzu is in repair. So I have been debating about getting a HTC one max. Just not sure. I do want a good power flip case though would like the cp12. And like the look of the sbh52. that screen protector is it a glass protector and if so where did you get it from? What apps do you currently have on phone any useful/interesting ones?

I got my 12.2 this afternoon. So far so good but now it is time to get a good case, having that big screen unprotected is leaving me nervous.
Anyone having good recommendations?
Tab was pricey but came with a 64gb card and 6 months of Netflix free.
I haven't had much time with it but let me know if you have questions. This is my first tab (of any kind) but I've used Andis for a long time and have a rooted Note 2.
Thanks.
you bought the 12.2 note pro or tab pro? i'm looking for the 12.2 tab pro and it's not released yet..
It doesn't look like the cases from Samsung are out yet, and are only for pre-order at the mo. Also I don't see much in the way of 3rd party yet. It's great to have a bleeding edge device but it sucks to wait for everything like cases, root, etc..

12.2 Note Pro.
I'm not fully sure I will adapt to the size or if I need a tablet at all, so something tells me I might end up selling it in two or three days. That will definitely be a needless loss of money, but sometimes there's no way to know until you experiment.

try getting a BT keyboard and mouse, it might make things better, I guess..
If you search eBay there are a ton of cases for around $20. However, when I pick mine 12.2 up on Sunday I will be getting the Zagg Cover-fit bluetooth keyboard case. (link) I've had the original tab since day 1, almost 3 years ago, and I've been using the Logitec bluetooth case that is very similar to the Zagg case in the link. I literally have about 7 cases for my original tab at home that I've collected over the years but have only used the keyboard/case exclusively since I got it.
The Zagg is $100, which is what the Logitech cost at launch (I got it later on clearance for $15), but it's worth every penny.
Picked up an 8.4 yesterday and it's fantastic. Literally only the Belkin case is available immediately so I passed on that. I paid 50 for the Samsung Book case on their site...it appears to be available now, so hopefully it gets here quick. Toddler in the house!
Now we just gotta get these things rooted and unlocked with a form of stock Android. Magazine UX is terrible.
I'm waiting on the Tab pro to come out, but after using the poetic slimline case on my N7, I'll be looking at something like this http://www.amazon.com/Series-Samsun..._sim_pc_4?ie=UTF8&refRID=10YW9X29YEQEN39KKBS8. By mid-March, more cases may be around for 12.2.
The IBlason cases are linked in the Accessory thread.

The Moko Samsung Galaxy Note PRO & Tab PRO 12.2 Case.
It's cheap, but feels sturdy and nice materials. It has magnetic closure that turns off the screen of my Tab Pro 12.2 when I close the case. It props up nicely. The only minor issues I have are the pen holder is cheap stretchy material and is badly located and the case has a cheap elastic strap designed to help keep it closed. I don't use the strap. I may cut it off, but it's not intrusive.
Here is my short review of the Corsair OTG drive. I have also included some read/write tests that I did below.

Read/Write benchmarks:
Cases where it fits without an OTG cable or modification:
Cruzerlite
TUDIA TPU
Spigen Ultra Hybrid
Supcase Beetle Hybrid
Cases where it needs a OTG cable or removal of the lanyard loop:
Supcase Beetle (otterbox style)
I got the 64gb model and I'm happy with it so far!

I couldn't be happier with mine! It has saved me from many bootloops because I have all of my TWRP backups on it. Its much better than the SanDisk I had, or my old Transcend usb OTG drive.

What case are you using? I haven't had any issues with it using any of my cases so far so in curious to know which one has issues. I can add a list of which ones or works / doesn't work with.

Unicorn beetle... Looks like an Otterbox. It just fell short by a smidge so I had to cut it off. I was afraid that it would get wet on my keychain, so what I did was I put it in a pill fob on my keychain.

I wonder if the port opening is smaller on that than the regular one. I have 2 of the frosted back ones and the drive works perfectly. I'll make a list of cases where it fits here shortly. Thanks for the heads up.
Just saw this drive on amazon and ordered a 64gb. $0.50/GB isnt bad at all.
Unfortunately it semes that I will have to cut the tabs off as i normally use the SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro (Otterbox-like one). Is there any way you can think of to still connect it to a keychain without the lanyard tabs? maybe like a little pouch thing or something?

That's possible, I don't own the beetle pro so I'm going off of what the other member said. You could get a small otg cable for your keychain like the one below. You could drill a very small hole 1/32in onto the drive if you take it apart and attach a cable through that hole. I wouldn't recommend that because it could potentially allow dirty to damage the drive but I haven't taken it apart yet to see.
