Interruption to network connectivity. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all I am having an issue. I am trying to launch my Navy federal app and this is the error I get. I can't find out how to fix it. The app works on other CM10.2, but no KitKat based ROM. I realize this could be do to incompatibility, but the reason I think it isn't is simply because it allows me to install it from the play store. I am running AOSP 4.4 built from source, built by Houstonn in the at&t lgog community. The kernel is one that he has built. I will be posting this there as well so any help will be appreciated.

Share your Nexus 4 conversion experience

Hi everyone !!! soon i'm going to buy an Optimus G and i read in the forums that since is the same hardware (virtually) as the nexus 4, it can be converted into a nexus 4, i've been reading quite a while about the subject and learning how things work on the Optimus G, but i can't find any users opinion about it and i can't find any videos of the conversion working so i created this thread so anyone who wants to share his expierence about the conversion or anyone who wants to share videos or photos of the conversion working it can be posted here
No need to do the conversion as we can run mako kernel natively now.

Modified mako kernels, not ones from n4 forums.

The 4.1 update gave the tz and rpm that was needed.

so are you saying that the rom's like PA3.15 in the android development section work on the optimus g as they would work on a nexus 4, but still why don't turn the optimus g into a nexus 4 completely and install all the nexus 4 goodies ?

We are referring to all the 4.2 ROMs in the optimus g android dev section like root box, chaos, aokp, liquid smooth and cm10.1 in original dev section.
Why deal with all the problems that converting can bring if you decide to swotch back to stock partitons?

As everyone has said, during the last several weeks there's been an explosion of new ROMs. No need for n4 conversion!
it seems that i chose the right moment to buy an optimus g, so with this new modified kernels for the cellphone it would be one of the best devices to run an AOSP rom, thanks for the info
soo i bough the phone and the first thing i said when i held it was :HOLYY SH*T is gorgeous and its freaakin fast, now im going to install PA3.15 i will tell my experience with the rom later
I love it. Stock 4.2.2, rooted and deodexed with .33 modem. Everything I need works no problem.

so i was tempted to convert and i did it lol
so i converted my lgog into a nexus 4 and this device its amazing i did all the fixes and the device is running well, great battery life, amazing speed and a pretty cool Google bootloader splash lol, i made a video just for showing you guys my phone in it's actual state

How'd you come to the decision to convert and go to a n4 ROM? To each his own, but there's some pretty good Roms in the android Dev section and who knows what else to come.
And lolol what is with the random flexing..

i like the feeling that im using a 100% stock AOSP ROM and if the device is almost like 98% identical as the Nexus 4 why not do it, its a shame that the developers do not support the conversion no more, and with the flexing lol i was bored lol
It's not supported because the long-run effects aren't known, and there's nothing wrong with the AOSP/AOKP/CM/PA ROMs we have. But good luck with it!
I ditched 33 modem. Now using 24 & 27 interchangeably. They are holding Att reception much better. No issues thus far.

How are your antutu benchmarks ?
Homeboy is brave for converting^
And you say you have no issues? *bravo*

I enjoyed the conversion for a couple of weeks until it started getting screwy for me. Overheating, GPS stopped working, constant signal drop and bootlooped daily. Loving RootBox, though. All the advantages of AOKP, PA and CM in one.

I was tempted to convert for the longest time. Finally got the nerve the day we got AOSP, so no need in my book. I used rootbox for a while, but it started acting screwy on me recently. Switched to liquid smooth tonight and seems even better.
Turns out, I didn't need the AOKP/PA bloat, and this kernel feels even better than Houcha's did
Pecked by the AOKP/CM/PA alicorn

[Q] Not able to Play Trainz

Hi Experts,
I am having LG optimus G E970..not able to play Trainz..installed chainfire 3D but i heard it wont work in JB
Please help
Don't know about game incompatibility, but chainfire 3d doesn't work on jb. Also, having your email address as your user name is stupid. You're going to get so much spam.
Sent via LG E970 with houstonn aokp 4.2.2
Will it not install, or not run?
I was able to download The Conduit HD, a "tegra only" game, by using Market Helper, and it runs just fine.

Q: How is signal quality with AOSP-based roms (comparison to GS3)

Hey Guys,
I have a Vzw GS3. I live in a 'fringe area', signal wise, so I've never been able to use any of the AOSP roms available for the phone. From what I understand it has to do with Samsung not releasing the modem drivers and people having to reverse engineer them to get it to work.
Was wondering how the GS4 compares...if it's the same story or..?
Anyway, input would be appreciated. I'd like to get the phone, but I'm tired of Touchwiz.
Thanks!
damon
Nothing, eh?
There was a thread here yesterday that I can't find back.... It said no issues on aosp roms concerning data..... Same speed and signal as touchwiz.

I haven't noticed any signal segregation at all since I've I wiped out touchwiz and installed a cm nightly

[Q] DNA & FitBit App - 4.2.2

I am looking for a way to get the FitBit app to work with my Wife's DNA. She is running 4.2.2 (latest VZW OTA Patch) and the app will not work due to Bluetooth compatibility issues. I have searched without luck to find a way to get the app working on a stock DNA with JB 4.2.2. Rooting is not an option right now, but if I can convince her I will root the phone. She would rather buy a HTC One before rooting but I don't want to spend that money because the FitBit devs won't touch a non 4.3+ device. So any suggestions would be helpful.
I have tried the xposed FitBit app that you can find on one of the XDA pages. That didn't work either.
Never rooted a HTC device, so I don't know which ROMs I should start with. (I have a Note 2 that was running Carbon then CM11) Not sure if there is a good HTC Sense ROM that wouldn't be over the top for someone who never used anything but stock.

You need 4.3 or 4.4 for the modified Fitbit app to work (I'm not sure what xposed app you're talking about), but I've had no problems syncing my Force with CM11, AOSPA 4.0 beta, and the Blackout GPE rom. If you're looking for stock, there's a port of the One's stock 4.4 rom.

Thanks for confirming this. I guess I have to convince her to root. Hopefully she doesn't pull some v-day BS and trick me in to getting her a new phone.
I got my fitbit force to work with the xposed fitbit module + the latest Viper rom (sense 5.5 running 4.4)

I will have to look at that ROM. My wife is still on the fence about rooting her phone, but it is cheaper than getting her a phone that is officially supported by FitBit

Is everyone aware about this?

I dont know if anyone is aware, the sprint LG G3 subforum is lacking in kernels and roms. If you want other roms or kernels go to the LG G3 Android Development. not sprint. Almost all of the roms and kernels support LS990. I'm using Xenon HD with the AOSP 777 kernel. Euphoria OS 1.1 also works fine. They are not GSM only and most of them support all variants.

Ive been using cloudyrom g3 2.5 has most g4 port including system ui, also on google + there is a banned member from xda who made lion rom 5.1 and it is amazing for the most part. So weird that the other variants have a lot more custom roms than in the sprint lg g3 subforum. I guest sprint variant is least popular...

Right? I just found this out. I love my LG G3. Like a lot. I haven't enjoyed a nice android device in a long time, and I was just hoping to help everyone out since the subforum for the sprint variant isnt as busy with new stuff.
Me and @engine95 have beening working on kernel so don't count us out
