Basically whenever I make a phone call, I can call or receive just fine... but the phone instantly goes black and I'm unable to open the dial pad or put it on speaker ever.. I can hit the home button and hang up but whenever I re-enter the phone call it instantly goes black again. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello,
I use every day S2U2: application which I find really successful
I have however a question to subject you:
I use the locking during the calls for questions of security.
When I phone, the device locks itself normally: everything is well.
On the other hand, when my call is ended, I am obliged to unlock my device to hang up.
Is there a means to hang up while the telephone is locked during the calls ?
Naturally I went on the site of S2U2 to read the "FAQ" section and "README" but no answer to my problem.
Also, I sent a message to the technical support; reponse: thank you for postponing you in the "FAQ" rubirque and "README".
Thus today, I wish to know if there is a means to hang up the telephone while this last one is vérouillé during the calls ?
Thank you for your answer

Hi All!,
Can anyone tell me how can I stop the phone from vibrating for a short while while answering or rejecting a call. While its ringing and you drag the 'answer' or 'reject' to take or reject a call, it vibrates, I have tried all settings but could not find the option to do it.

Try here

Settings -> Call -> Call alert -> Outgoing call vibration.
Hope it helped.
Can I get a reference to the com.android.internal.telephony.Connection instance of an incoming call? Can it be done before the call has been accepted? If not, can I get information of an incoming call other then the phone number?
Thanks,
Shooali

Hi all
After getting the update to ICS I have experienced this twice:
My phone starts ringing with a very loud ringtone (louder than I think I left it) and I cannot answer it.
The phone doesn't lock or anything, but there just isn't any option to answer the call. It just behaves as if it wasn't ringing.
The first time it was in my pocket when it started and I turned the phone off to make it stop.
The second time I was writing a text and I just turned the volume down, and eventually it stopped.
The calls doesn't show up in the logs, and I haven't been able to find out who was calling, so in reality I don't know if someone was actually calling or if the phone just decided to suddenly play the ringtone out loud.
Anybody else experienced this?
/Brian
