Stock 4.3 upgrade broke PdaNet+ - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

I installed the system update and now the PdaNet+ desktop program won't detect the app running on the phone. I usually use USB tethering. USB debugging is on and the app is running, but when I click connect on the PC it says to start the app on the phone. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling without much luck.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Click to collapse
what are you specifically saying to uninstall?
I haven't used the webtop yet so forgive my ignorance, just gonna throw some ideas at ya.
Do you have to use firefox or do you just prefer it? wouldnt you be able to download other browsers from the market place and just launch those once connected to webtop?
check under the settings for the firefox browser, see if you can play with any of them, what comes to mind is the client option, which allows u to chose from android or desktop.

Android File Transfer

Those of us with Macs know how hard it is using Kies to transfer files and the other popular app AFT seems to work for seldom.
To try and make aft work First install drivers using Kies. Then try connecting with kies still installed. Try both with and without USB debugging turned on. Then completely uninstall kies with the uninstall package. Try connecting again. Also try different cables ( an HTC one worked for me).
If still does not work then try Airdroid

memu crashes Windows 10 like all Android emulators

So when I Googled it, it said uninstall/disable avast while using it, I tried that, but it still froze my PC when even installing memu. So when I restart my computer and try to uninstal memu that wasn't fully installed, it doesn't show up in the program list for control panel, and if I try to manually delete the folder from my computer it says it's still in use.
What should I do to A) make memu work on my computer without uninstalling avast, or B) uninstall memu completely and give up trying to play FFRK on my computer while my phone is broke and I don't have money to fix it?

HELP! Apps won't work after install

I just got a gear S and I am having the hardest time finding out how to get apps to run after installed. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8, so I don't know if this is an issue...everything works fine, it connects and all that. When I download and install from the app store, the apps do nothing once i press on them on the watch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I tried using a 3rd part program to install widget files but don't know how to do that either (and yes I have USB debugging enabled)
