Doesn't look like hardware/qcom from cm-10.2 is compatible, keep getting errors.
I know, you'll need to hack cm11.0 one, like I did with aosp and it broke all stuff for me. But now I made my own vendor repo etc and am compiling again, let's hope this time ril etc won't be broken

One word. Wubi.
It lets you install Ubuntu as a regular application in Windows and after installing you'll be able to dual boot. Want to remove it? Just delete it like you usually do with other programs. Sure, it takes some time to set it all up after installation, but it'll be more stable and run better.

Hands on with CM10.2 Jelly Bean 4.3 for the HTC One -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?edit=vd&v=UhvYjD8o22k
Didn't get a build out yesterday however I will today. The biggest issue I've found so far while listening to music video wired headphones when you open an app the sound will fade in and out. Other then that WiFi works notification sounds work. Haven't tried BT. Haven't tested auto brightness either. Camera and focul both work. Camera now shows full screen when capturing pictures however Focul still cuts off top and bottom.
Screenshot works now as well.
Update: disabling touch sounds fixes audio fade in/out. Also in call audio works.

Rotation doesn't work.
Google Voice
Has anyone been successful with Google Voice setup working? When I go thru the app setup process it says unable to verify call forwarding settings.
Also Focal F/C's when trying to swap to front facing camera and is also flipped upon opening.
Has anyone had any difficulty installing this? My phone just keeps spinning on the Cyanogenmod splash screen.
I've tried installing in CWM & TWRP.
I've cleared cache/data/system -- still does the same thing. I tried both the 18 & the 19 files.
I can install other ROMs (tested Houstonn's 4.3)
I'm not sure what else to try to get this thing to boot. I've let it sit for 10-15 minutes, which should definitely be more than enough time for it to boot. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Both are built from Cyanogen source, but are built with different local manifests. So probably different kernel, and probably some slightly different "under the hood" differences. Features should be the same since they both use Cyanogen source, unless they cherry picked other features... which I doubt they have at this point since having a nice stable cm10.2 and kernel for our device is most likely the main goal. Once that is achieved, it will make the base for many other ROM's with different features ect.
I have not examined the repo's much so I could be wrong though.
So flash away! All these dev's need us all to test their stuff out to smash the bugs.
EDIT: Actually, I believe there are two different sources for 4.3 so I'm not exactly sure if they both used the same.

Fixed in a new build dated 0819. I typoed sensors when I added sdcard to the mounts. Thus why sensors worked on 0818 but not 0819. They should be good to go now though.
As far as the two cm 10.2 builds for e970. This is based on stock kernel and acree's e975. Dvhexer's is based on mako.

...with a wealth of under-the-hood improvements, KitKat is actually reducing the toll the OS takes on a phone's guts. Thanks to a reduction in KitKat's footprint it can run "comfortably" on devices with as low as 512MB of RAM, so KitKat won't just be for the high-grade device elite once it starts trickling down through carriers.

Haha good one. Considering this device has official CM support AND AOSPA support, I'm willing to bet well have a stable kitkat build by two months tops.

I doubt there'll be an official update.

This is more about cheaper phones for third world countries and watches

If we get this update, LG will surprise me. I had a Sidekick 4G stuck on Froyo while Gingerbread was looked at as a good update for all phones.

Lol. I doubt lg would bother and metro/tmob would definately shaft us, again

in my opinion lg won't release a new android for our phone. We have to hope indie developer port kitkat to our phone...
Seems that we wouldn't get android 4.4 update because of our omap4430 cpu. As TI quitted mobile bussiness, it is possible don't update the kernel drive. But if google glass get the update, it is possible for our L9 to have it.

It wouldn't be surprising if it doesn't get it, I'm rooted and unlocked so I'm not tripping. Someone might cook a rom.

I would like to ask everyone to remember that developers do this for free and as a hobby.
Not everyone can develop, so not all phones will have major development.
Thread cleaned
possible
