xperia sola not charging - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

my xperia sola is not charging when connected to wall charger or to pc via usb
have tried flashing another kernel and using samsung charger
but its not charging it
when connect to pc it does not show anything on pc or on mobile
is this a software or hardware issue?is there anything i can do to fix this?

Why u use Samsung charger why not the sony one?

It looks like it's a problem. With the hardware. Because i doesn't react at all with another charger.

[HELP] hardware problem x10mini pro

I need help regarding x10mini pro. It wont charge and wont connect to PC. what can I do to fix this?
its either your usb pport or your cable. the ports fail a lot and only sony ericsson or samsung cables work so try another cable first

OTG cable not working.

Hi ive been using samsung galaxy s2...running on ICS 4.0.3(not rooted)...ive purchased samsung original OTG cable and sandisk 4gd pendrive...but whenever i connect the cable a message appears...USB connector connected thats all nothing happens no media scanning nothin..and i am avoding factory reset or reinstallation of OS...tried all the pendrives but still no go...would appericiate if anyone can help me...want to use the otg feature....

first did u check that cable is working with any other phone? If it is, then go to settings-->Storage --> then mount USB storage.. Until u mount it wont get recognized.. By default it should be mounted, but sometimes it doesnt..
no..i hvnt tried the cable with any other phone..but m getting the notification usb connector connected...and after plugging the OTG cable ive checked the storage option in setting and its not showing mount usb storage option..its not there..

[Q][SOLA] Right charger PLEASE HELP

I have Xperia Sola and I use Kit kat (proble doesnt depend on rom, respective depends if rom is greater than ICS (4.0.4))
When I conect charger i cant use touchreen because touches are crazy (i cant click on app etc.)
PLEASE SEND ME SPECIFICATION OF YOUR CHARGER (voltage and ampers) or way to fix that
The problem apears o any rom greater than 4.0.4 ICS
Usually Sony's original charger push something like 750 - 850ma at 5Volt DC.

Maybe you're using a charger from another phone, that happens to me with my Xperia P, use original charger, or at least the original cable.

I think the Sony EP800 is the original charger of the XSola Better you ask for the original Charger in the Sony Chat support. That's where I also asked
Yup EP800 but if you can get EP850 thats better as XP and Sola both support fast charging.

Unabel to Connect

Hello everybody, i have a problem, my sony z2 is not detected to Pc. And no led or notification on the z2 tell me that the phone is plugged in (no charging sign) . i install sony companion and reinstall it and the problem is still here.

Try a different USB port, if that doesn't work maybe your cable is damaged.

I tried a different laptop, usb cable. I can use the same usb cable to charge it from ac charger.

No, no any sign except when the phone is shutdown. it can charge very slow.
