[Q] S3 wont boot, nor go into factory mode

Hi!
When I was at work today, I had the phone in my pocket, when i took the phone out of my pocket, the phone wouldn't boot properly - it is stucked on Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300. Tried to press both volume up, home and power on at the same time, and held it there for over 10 sec..
It's stock android, with no root.. Any solutions out there for this problem?
Thanks for all help on beforehand!
Best regards,
DanVazz
Try entering download mode (volume down+power+home key)
If you can enter download mode, you can flash a stock firmware....

i had the same problem and the only way to get it to work again is to send it for repair.
there is something wrong with your original software and only a samsung repair station can get it to work again.
Stock firmware with Odin
Try to flash a stock firmware with Odin.
Here is a tutorial including the last stock 4.1.2 (I9300XXELL5):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1646610
search for sudden death s3 and half sudden death s3.
some earlier models were shiped with bad flash memory. if flashing via odin won't work, send it to repair, they will change the mainboard.

Stop spamming the board =) Or else no one will help u :/
First check it's model number. GT-I9100G, GT-I9100, GT-I9100T, ..........etc
Download Stock Firmware from sammobile.com for your S2 model specific version...
Put your mobile in to Odin mode.
Download and Run Odin on PC.
Connect mobile to PC using USB cable.
Select PDA section on Odin. Select downloaded stock firmware.
Flash & leave rest to Odin!
Phone will be back to working mode. Next time root before flashing custom ROM!

When the phone turns on it'll write the model number. then search sammobile.com or checkfus for that model number's firmware. download and go into odin mode.
a simple google search would be enough, don't need to spam the entire board

[Q] s3 doesnt reboot after the 4.3 upgrade on the unlocked phone

s3 doesn't reboot after the 4.3 upgrade on the unlocked phone
Hi All,
Today, i updated my new unlocked Samsung galaxy s3 gt-9300 from JellyBean 4.1.2. to Official JellyBean 4.3 using below mentioned file
I9300XWUGML4_I9300ODDGML4_I9300DDUGMK1_HOME.tar.md5
After successful upgrade using the odin 3.07, the phone didn't reboot automatically. Instead, keeps on blinking the initial screen "Samsung galaxy s3 GT9300"

Probably just need to do a factory reset. It's not uncommon to need to do that after an update, even when successful, because the Odin flash does not wipe data (unless otherwise noted).

Please let me know the steps to factory reset the phone, since the phone is not booting and i cant do literally anything(not even able to switch off the phone)
Pull the battery. Then pop it back in. Reboot by holding Vol Up + Home + Power and release when you see the blue letters at the top left about entering recovery. Volume buttons should navigate and I think Power selects or Home if it isn't Power. Haven't used the stock 3e recovery in awhile.

S II i9100 Bricked No Odin/Recovery Mode

Suddenly One morning found the phone Bootlooping.. Had TWRP installed. so I downloaded a DeOdexed S II Rom n Installed the zip [Which I am now realizing was for i9100G]
Result: Phone stuck on S II logo with Yellow Triangle
No Recovery Mode
Phone not recognized in Odin [Galaxy Star Pro is recognized so its not a Driver/cable/port issue]
So What Can I do to recover This old gem?
Thanks in Advance for your Help
no helpers?

What about download mode (volume down, home button, power button)? Does ODIN detect your phone in download mode?

Galaxy Grand II Duos G7102- Stuck At Samsung Logo

Samsung Galaxy Grand II Duos G7102 Factory Unlocked International Version Phone - Gol
I bought a Samsung Galaxy Grand II Duos G7102 Factory Unlocked International Version Phone - Gold. It worked fine for about a month but when I turn it on it just says Samsung on the screen and will not do anything else. Any ideas on how to reset this phone or what might be wrong with it?

Don't worry you can overcome it in 15mins max if you have an official firmware for your device.
1.Google for your firmware, download it.
2.Download Odin.
3.Get your phone in download mode (by pressing Volume down+power button+home button together, when your phone vibrates release the power button but keep the volume down+home button)
4.After your phone goes to download mode, Flash the official firmware you have downloaded.
Wait till it completes
That's it. your device will work like a charm.
If I helped you, Press thanks and let me know for any further assistance Enjoy
