How to flash:
Download ROM and place it on your virtual SD card
Flash boot.img from the downloads section
Boot your phone in recovery mode (vol down + power)
In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard"
Select "choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of Android Revolution ROM
You can use data wiping option in AROMA (optionally if coming from earlier version of my ROM, obligatory if coming from stock or other custom ROM)
After flashing process is complete, reboot the device

Performance Tweaks for Android Revolution HD
data_writeback journalism for /system, /data and /cache partitions.
This mod will turn ON data_writeback for all 3 partitions - system, data and cache. This will drastically improve I/O performance (mostly on write operations) at the expense of file system integrity in certain situations, like unexpected system shutdown. The risk is not extreme, but still bigger then regular. Use this to improve your system performance, but you flash it at your own risk!

Android Revolution HD EXT4 Tweaks v.0.1
Force GPU rendering on 2D operations.
This mod is working similar to "Render GUI with GPU" option in Development Settings. Flashing this will force whole system to use GPU rendering (instead of CPU) for all kind of 2D/3D operations. This might improve 2D operations performance, but keep in mind that some apps are not working correctly with GPU rendering. After using this mod you no longer need to tick "Render GUI with GPU" in settings. Even if un-ticked it will be still working. Flash it at your own risk!

Q 2: My Premium Navigation doesn't work correctly. What should I do?
A: Your Premium Navigation may not work correctly for many reasons. Most of them are not ROM related. You can try the following things:
- reinstall your Locations under "Settings" ---> "Locations"
- remove /sdcard/.data/navigator/Data/Temporary from your SD card
- re-download Google Maps from the Android Market
- clear data from Google Maps in system software management
Q 3: When recording HD video, the playback of the clip keeps freezing. How to fix it?
A: This is probably SD card problem. Format your SD card (FAT32 recommended) to gain silky smooth playback.

Q 4: After I reboot my device, mp3 ring-tone is back to default. What should I do?
A: Go to Ringtones > Menu > More Ringtones > Create new ringtone > Select the one you want (Thanks to kill4l)

Q 6: After flashing Android Revolution HD my SD card is being mounted as ready only. What should I do?
A: Connect your SD card to your PC and do defragmentation process. If you still have some problems with SD card, please read this.
Mac users can use the repair function of the MacOS disk utility to solve the read only problem (Thanks to Calimero1205).
Q 7: My CPU load is all the time nearly 100% and in most part it's used by system. What is the reason of that high CPU usage and how can I fix it?
A: Delete your htcsense.com account. It takes A LOT of your battery and CPU usage.

Q 8: Do I need to wipe data partition when upgrading from old version of Android Revolution HD?
A: I always recommend wiping data partition but it's absolutely necessary only if I mention that in the changelog. But normally you can live without it.
Wipe data partition if you experience any issues.
Q 9: I have some strange issues with my ROM that nobody reported before. What should I do in first place?
A: In first place you should check, if the MD5 Checksum is correct. Then flash ROM again and see if the issue is gone. A lot of strange issues can be solved this way.

Q 10: I had SetCPU installed on Android Revolution HD, then I flashed new version of AR HD and SetCPU doesn't work any more. How to fix it?
A: Please reinstall SetCPU.
Q 11: I can't send/receive MMS or I can't connect with mobile data connection. How can I fix it?

Q 12: My phone got random freezes or reboots. How can I fix it?
A: Every CPU is different. It seems that your CPU doesn't like OC or UV (undervolt). Set your CPU to default 1GHz.
If it doesn't help, then you need to flash default kernel from the second post.
Q 13: When I listen to music from HTC stock player it accidentally pauses for short time and then keep playing.
A: Turn OFF fastboot in settings.

Q 14: My GPS signal is very weak or GPS is not working at all. How can I fix it?
A: There are some solutions:
1. You can download and install FasterFix to improve your signal strength.
2. You can download and install GPS Status & Toolbox to manage your GPS settings.
3. Turn off "Fast boot" under "Settings" ---> "Power" and reboot your phone.

Q 16: My Quadrant score is not as high as on different ROM. What does it mean?
A: It means absolutely nothing. Benchmarks on Android System are more or less lottery and they are not showing the real system performance.
There are many settings that can force Quadrant to show more then 3000 points but it's faked performance, that actually can slow down your phone in some circumstances.
What I always emphasize is a real performance, the one you can feel under your fingers. Remember that I/O has some limit and surpassing it shows just a numbers without true ratio.
Also keep in mind that Quadrant has support for Android Gingerbread only in version 1.1.7 and higher.
Q 17: I have com.htc.bgc process force close few times a day. How can I fix it?
A: It's because you have removed HtcTwitter.apk (HTC Twitter application). Please restore it.

If both devices have the same hardware then you will be able to flash it.

I think the only difference between the one x+ and the one xl+ is the modem, the one x+ has an intel chip and one xl+ has a qualcomm icera chip. Other than that the phones should have identical hardware.

Unless someone writes a script than can identify the 2 different devices and pushes the correct kernel/libs to the device. I've seen similar methods for devices that have GSM/CDMA variants.

Correct, it's quite easy actually. But the size of ROM will increase and the hard part is that usually it's not just a kernel and few bins/libs. Those are also carrier related and sometimes signed .apk files.

Known issue(s):
- As per original developers fb messenger do causes System UI error to stopped intermittently. SystemUI errors are faced only by few people and some do not. Unfortunately there is no perfect solution for this at the moment. Please Read FAQ regarding this issue and check if some workaround mentioned there may solve this fc on recent app fc problem.
- Use Youtube App Version 5.2.27 and do not update your google search. If videos in you tube dont work after Updating, just "uninstall updates" in App Manager wipe data and cache and reboot phone. It will work fine. Disable AUTO UPDATE option of PlayStore.
- Like many other observations about systemui fb issue, this is one more workaround suggested by @pratheepdx. you can try that.
- If you find any other issues, please describe in details.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ):
1. How to enable air command?
- Hold capacitive menu button
2. How to use multi window?
- Drag 2 apps from sidebar to home screen

- Long press back key button for 2-3 seconds
4. How to install OTA update(s) after downloading?
- Uncheck wipe data and wipe cache before installing OTA update(s).
5. Why Unfortunately, SystemUI has stopped?
- If you have facebook messenger installed, just drag the chat head(s) down to close it. Then reopen facebook messenger in app drawer to restore System UI back to normal.
- Another workaround is to install Xposed Installer/Framework and Gravity Box [JB] then activate it in Xposed Installer modules then reboot. Open Gravity Box and select Navigation keys actions and set Home key Long-press action to Show recent apps.
- It is also recommended to install Xposed and GravityBox or other modules in Internal Memory for proper functioning. Read next question about Xposed/GravityBox.
- Branded Android devices from known companies like HTC, SAMSUNG, SONY, etc. also encounter this problem when facebook messenger is installed.
- One more user 'genesisalgor' suggested this method to get rid of this issue. Click here. You may simply try this.
- If you have facebook messenger installed, drag down chat head(s) to close it then reopen messenger application shortcut to restore System UI back to normal. (Do this if you encounter similar issue with other messenger applications like Viber, Skype, etc...)
- Freezing Facebook messenger will also solve this issue.
- Just found out that even the original HDC Galaxy Note 3 clone which is the source of this ROM also experience this issue.
6. Why Led indicator (sms/call notifications at top) is not working for incoming missed-call or missed-sms?
- Open Light Manager (included in rom) and change LED color to "Green" for CALLS and SMS and also run Test to check color. LEDs of A116 can show only two colors, Green and Red, so do not change to any other color, else LED LIGHTS will not work.
7. FONTS option in settings does Force Closes. What to do?
- The Fonts option in settings is related to iFont App. Just install from playstore and it will work. You may also need to restart phone and clear Dalvik Cache. It was tested ok but missed in this first build upload.
8 - Xposed / Gravity Box not working?
A- Xposed works perfect in all roms made by me. But make sure that Xposed Installer and all its modules are installed in Internal memory and not sd card.
____1) Run App Manager and Move "Xposed Installler" and "Graviti Box" or all other modules to Internal Memory.
____2) Run Xposed and in Frameworks again Run "INSTALL/UPDATE" and reboot.
____3) Now just UNCHECK Gravity Box and RE-CHECK Gravity Box and again reboot.
This works perfect on this rom too and is tested ok, though I have not installed modules other than GravityBox.
This method works on other roms too.
9 - I can's see or setup Live Wallpaper. Why?
A - For some strange reason it was excluded from the rom, but as some people may still want it, here is the patch only for Colossus Rom on any ported model

13) Should I try any other modified kernel?
Answer: This rom is Optimized to extreme level to give you best performance. This smartly tweaked rom comes with Stock kernel which have confirmed advantage of No Bugs, Reliability, Good Battery Backup and Superb Power performance. It is advised that you try this rom with included stock kernel for few days and then if you are not satisfied, you are free to flash any kernel you want. Custom kernel can be flashed but results are not always as expected. If you face any issues on other kernel, I cannot help you and you should contact kernel developer for further help.
EDIT: Just to add, heavy games like Asphalt8 and NOVA3 runs like butter. And most of the gamers are getting more than 5 hours of game time in single charge which is unbelievable but true. I am not gamer, but other gamers have confirmed it.

Actually that Fonts option in settings is related to iFont App. Just install from playstore and it will not FC. It is missing in first upload. Will add in next update. I installed iFont and its working fine.

hello CM, beautiful work but like all the other users i seek for the lite and stable rom which consume less ram or at least equal to stock roms.when i was surfing through this thread, i saw a screen shot of running apps, which shows ram uses also....well for me it seems like a screen shot from stock rom in other words FAKE .please correct me if i am wrong and also please anyone provide a real screen shot of ram use after installing necessary applications.I have used pureXperia z2 rom of yours and i am your fan to.

Yes of course @remzej have done great job on scrolling and I added some good optimizations which made rom Buttery Smooth, like SLD
I always include GREENIFY and ask people to configure it to get good Battery Backup. Hope you know how to use it.

The free ram ss was from other aosp in my phone, and was accidentally uploaded before in a bunch which was removed after Hri**** from fb notified me. you are actually late to report. The image is replaced in ss, check now. That was not intentional and at least I dont need to do such things.

This happened with FB messenger and not for any other app in our test but some users may get some weird issues. BTW which app / action caused this on your phone? Also READ FAQ.

Since the ZTE Nubia Z7 Mini Rooting - Thread gets overwhelmed by technical requests and infos on ROMS being posted parallel I wanted to make this an own thread.

I use Mokee RC4 as daily ROM

At the moment I'm still using the 1.42 based Cuoco V2.8. The only thing that annoys me very hard is a dictionary that I'm not able to disable and which permanently tells me that I'm writing everything wrong in its mind... Everything else is working fine so far. UI is really not the best and I also will give the Mokee ROM a try soon.
But I'm not able to figure out what all of you people mean when talking about versions like 9.20 or 9.42 I also read it once on ANDROIDiani but it makes no sense I only see there is a 1.20 and 1.42 and thats it. Is this the old codename of Cuoco's ROM? Could you clarify this please?
I have been using the MoKee ROM from the unknown developer for about 3 weeks; it's the one called mk_nx507j-leader-0924.zip. I have noticed a few bugs with it and is starting to get a little frustrating - though I've been putting up with it.
1) When downloading a new app from the Play Store, the phone freezes and eventually reboot's itself before the app has finished downloading.
2) Apps randomly disappear. Most commonly happens when another app has a new update from the Play Store. (12 apps were missing today after I updated my launcher.)
3) Attempts to automatically put certain apps on SD card without permissions and won't move them back to the phone.
4) Battery recharging is sporadic. Will charge for 30 minutes (occasionally longer) and then no longer recognize that it is plugged in and stops charging.
That's all that I can think of for now. Will definitely try one or more of the others.

Thank you for sharing this informations. This makes the ROM even more strange. I'll add it to the bugs section for this ROM and declare it as "not recommended" for the moment.
You better go für the RC4 version by zhaochengw, heard nothing really bad about it.

The MIUI ROM gets stuck in a bootloop error and won't load.
The Lewa ROM has its own installer that overrides CWM. It's hard to see and only in Chinese - good for them, bad for me. After install, it attempts to flash the Nubia recovery and never ends up loading. Anyone else get it to work?
I'm going back to MoKee.
I've gone back to the 1.42 rom (NubiaZ7Mini_1.42_V2.8-Cuoco92) as the 1.60 and 1.62 still have issues with LTE here in Aus even after the supposed baseband fix. I also have some weirdness with the icons at the top of the screen dissappearing (signal strength, battery etc) very weird.
I'm yet to try the other non stock based roms but I'm getting very good at updating roms now LOL

I don't like the Nubia UI. I really like CM as it also has many more features for customization. Bad luck for me though as there doesn't seem to be a stable version..

Just has Lewa weather i think it says in the title. The screenshots for the rom just look like the nubia UI icons. Ive used lewa on other phones and it looks different.

If you are on a 4.4.x ROM, my recommendation is to flash via ODIN the 5.0 Official Lollipop Update from T-Mobile, then... make sure your BASEBAND was really updated to FOB6 (see screenshot above from About device screen) If your BASEBAND DOES NOT SAY N900TUVUFOB6 then pull off battery and ODIN again. Re-Root/TWRP, and then, and only then... you can go ahead and flash this ROM.
-> LOLLIPOP ROOT & RECOVERY GUIDE HERE by someone called @TEKHD (in other words, this is the guide that you need in order to update your baseband to FOB6) (and just in case... again... you need to BE on FOB6 in order to flash this ROM) (Just making this as easy as possible)
So,... I am providing the ROOT & RECOVERY GUIDE for your T-Mobile Note 3 plus I am also providing the ROM INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS... It is IMPOSSIBLE to make this any easier. Any questions just ask!
STEP 0 - MAKE A NANDROID (always important)
STEP 1 - TWRP -> WIPE -> ADVANCED WIPE and do this 3 times... (see image below)
STEP 2 - Install ROM... (May take like 10 min to boot the first time)
BULLET PROOF (FAIL SAFE) INSTALLATION:
STEP 0 - MAKE A NANDROID (always important)
STEP 1 - Download the Stock FOB6 Kernel-> https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934544329 (put the file in the same folder as the ROM in your phone...)
STEP 2 - TWRP -> WIPE -> ADVANCED WIPE and do this 3 times... (see image below)
STEP 3 - Install ROM... (May take like 10 min to boot the first time)
STEP 4 -> If for some reason the ROM does NOT boot (I have tested this a million times and never got a single bootloop, but if you do...) Go ahead and boot into recovery, (Volume UP + HOME + Power) and flash the Stock FOB6 Kernel. Now your phone should boot normally.

Installation
1.download, and place on external sd, if possible. (Fail safe ) always good to have if you ever format internal storage
2.already on 5.0, grab the necessary tools to boot into safestrap, nc2 flash apk, (search general forum if you're not sure) I always flash the nc2 kernel from the app, exit the app without rebooting, and then go into safestrap and use the reboot to recovery option there.
3. Do the normal wipe, in advanced, all but ext sd
4. Install rom from wherever you have it stored
5. The last step is to flash the 5.0 kernel zip( also found throughout the forum . EDIT step 5 might be obsolete, if anyone can try it report back, if it doesn't boot we have to do it the normal way flashing oc1 kernel
6. Don't forget to thank the development, He didn't have to port one for att, but it happened, and it's sweet

Battery life on International and T-Mobile variants of this rom is simply out of this world, really amazing.
Sorry, I don't work with CM12 (for development)
Regarding scores and benchmarks I honestly never do benchmarks... but there are some screenshots I believe from some users at the international thread...

Rom is very nice at all but the problem i am having is mobile network.. sometimes its coming and going but most of the time no signal....any fix for this issue

What were your exact settings because I tried manually setting up the APN and I still wasn't able to get any service. I didn't have any problems getting service after setting up the APN on the Darklord rom.

Added to OP:
Data problems? -> Make sure you have your APN set, plus go to Settings -> About -> Report Diagnostic Info Unchecked
That should help... (sometimes you might need to select another apn and then select back your apn...) This is a one time procedure... After that, data should stick forever...

Awesome thanks for supporting our dear g900h. I have noticed a few bugs tho.
1. Random reboots during calls, especially during internet calls.
2. 720p v60 and 1080p v60 lag or or no video output in youtube as well as in browser.
3. Always getting "starting apps" every boot.
4. Device overheats after 30 hour of screen time.
Things i have done. I have done a clean install TWICE. I have wipe dalvik and cache, and I haven't moved of messed with any system apps. I believe the reboots and lag is due to the kernel, but is there a way to get rid of the "starting apps" its makes booting up take longer.

Hi. I downloaded stock kernel from Mehdimadi . He has numerous versions, but I found stock kernel is Best. Check out Kian kernel for options.
BTW, I have not had any problems. I added Xposed as well as ran through UBWer ROM cleaner, installed Dolby etc.
