I've been trying to install android os on my touch pro 2 with wm but have failed miserably so far. I am a complete noob and some guidance would be much appreciated.

Try reading the install guide for noobs. If that is above your head, then you will need to find someone with more skill to give your phone to for programming.

I've been following this tutorial but couldn't continue because when I tried entering the boot-loader by pressing down the vol down and power buttons, I would get the tri-color screen but then I would get a loading... message and it got stuck there. Then I realized that the guy was doing it on a RHOD 200 and gave up because I thought my phone would require different files and procedure. What to do?

Windows Mobile at the momment. Theres a lot of info in this page about it. I will recommend that you spend 5 minutes to do a little search and you will get the answer you are seeking.

Hi. I´m completly new in this forum and i´m not a profi in things like android, software, aso. But I tried to install FRX07.1_Full_Bundle_20110901 on my HTC Touch Pro 2. It works well but the FN Key on my keyboard has no function. That means I cannot write email adresses aso. Do you have some solutions for me to solve this problem? The only reason to change the software from WinMobile 6.5 to android for me is that "whatsaap" doesn´t word on WinMobile 6.5. But I need whatsapp. Or do you have some ideas for me to use whatsapp on WinMobile 6.5. If yes then I won´t change from WinMobile 6.5 to Android. It would be great If you can give me quick answers / solution for my problem. Thanks in advance
Try using GBX0C. It is newer. FRX07.1 basically has no support at this point.

It sounds like you're not using the proper keylayout. Make sure you have chosen the correct startup.txt for your device...

Assuming that you are still working with FRX07.1 you could try reading step 3 in the directions...
Otherwise we will be forced to use our physic powers which are not very good. The last time someone's head exploded.

After do some searching about my concern, I found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=671520 But I can't create Gold Card because the site http://psas.revskills.de/?q=goldcard is down.
In another threads, someone suggests using flashgc (http://www.thinkthinkdo.com/trac/project1/wiki/flashgc). However I can't do this completely (got "Illegal instruction" when excute command "./flashgc").
So do you have any suggestion?

go through official unlocker maybe, it will give u boot 1.02 and "unlocked" info in bootloader.

In your place I would take this ROM, it's almost a stock ROM and you have not to downgrade, you also need no GoldCard...
I used it for a long time, it´s absolutely stable.

Please take a look at wetransfer.com. You can upload the ROM there and create a link to the file(s) and PM me the link. I will then put it in my dropbox and make it available for who might be interested.
I am looking for the ROM Blayo 0.8 and the patch 0.8.4...

Oh my man waitttt I mistook your device for having a Qualcomm processor but it has a M-Tek one instead. Give me an hour or so.
