I want to create a full system backup. My Suestion is - How?
I Want to backup all Foders (with bootloader , system files and all files in root direcory "/" without sdcard) and them "flash it" to same device. Is possible? Is any guide , tutorial , HOW TO theard etc?

2. root & UNLOCK
3. used rage_kernel ( Download )
4. place the backup in: sd card
5. Go to CWM on the backup and restore
6. restart
7. be seccussful *

Hi, I am novice as in this forum and as a new user android phone SGS3-I9300. I have some questions on you, on some experienced users. I root my phone with (CF-Auto-Root-m0-m0xx-gti9300 with included SuperSu 2.0 from Odin 3.09) then flash my recovery with (CWM 6.0.6.4 from Rom Manager app) and after I install custom Rom from (CWM recovery - cm-11-20140712-NIGHTLY-i9300) and i have some couple questions. Where is installed recovery becouse i think its like as bios on pc, but on pc is bios on separated chip and system on disk, is recovery on same place as android system, I think on Phone internal SD ? Because I have another question, when I open file manager on CM and open tho root "/" I have lot of folders there, some i can format / wipe from CWM, but some are still there and I dont know if I can delete him or I cant, and if I can then how? I want clean whole root if it is possible. Thank you.
Noone can help me with this ? I want only know what can i delete and what i cant. Under text you can find my root folders and files.

no you cant delete the files and the folders on your root directory unless you intend to crash your device.
Hi, I really am a SuperBaka (a Super idiot :crying: )
I tried to install Gapps to my new Asus Zenphone 5 (A500KL) by this method :
Which is:
1.Root your phone
2.Install Root Explorer
3.Unzip Gapps and Copy SYSTEM Folder to Internal memory
4.With Root Explorer paste SYSTEM Folder over original SYSTEM folder
5.Reboot
I followed each step, until the 4. But unfortunately, instead of copying, I erased accidently my original System folder by coping into Internal memory.
After that, all the apps closed and since that when i turn ON my phone, I only can see the Asus logo...
Please help me to reinstall Android, I have this phone since only 2 days... I really don't know what to do and i panic beacause i don't have any warranty (bought on To2c.com)
PS: Sorry for my english, i am french (tell me if you didnt understand something)
PS2: It was on Android 4.4.2 Kit kat version

Your only option now is to find a way to place /system back into your phone, which will require a custom recovery.
Hi everybody
I'm new on this big forum, so this my first post...
I have made a backup for my chinese tablet (MT6582) by using MTK droid tools, and I have installed a recovery for it and I installed a rom but it didn't work. So I want now to restore the first stock rom by installing the backup with the SP flash tool ... I have all the wanted files (img) just the system.img file because I have just the system folder. So my question is: How to convert(pack) the system folder to a yaffs2img file. :good:

I just backup my stock ROM using GSM Aladdin (using the read flash feature.also i ticked save as scatter) and it completed successfully so i went to the folder where it was saved (something like MT6580xxx) and i saw .bin files like boot , system , preloader etc
So my point is they are all .bin files (excluding the scatter.txt)
And i want to flash that to my phone using sp flash tool so do i need to make the .bin files to .img files or can i use directly? ? Or is there any other step ? Please help
