Is there any solution? It's frustrating. I want ABC arrangement, but when I install some new game and its name starts eg from A, I have to get every app outside of the folder, to the app drawer, then RE-arrange the apps by name. So, please help. ;-;
BUMP people? Noone? Or noone cares?
Do you mean when you click on applications and the apps are all spread out on different pages?
If so just click the call button on your phone and select list view and your apps will be in alphabetical order.
Also i recommend this app i have it myself
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.abcOrganizer&hl=en
don't folders have a list alphabetically setting?
For me, Appzorter Lite has proven to be the best. It's primary job is to alphabetically sort the apps on the launcher, but if you go into settings you can also have it arrange the apps inside your folders. It can also fill out gaps if you choose to manually move some applications to another page on the launcher. Very nice app!
I mean this:
http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/6716/sc20110821015013.png
To arrange the apps inside the folders by name(a-z). I tried the Appzorter, but it screwed my other apps inside Touchwiz's appdrawer. I only want it for folders.
I realised after some trial and error that you need to use Appzorter's sort as well as fill gaps features, then restart the phone. I believe that should work. I don't think there's an app or drawer that allows you to add folders and only sort apps within the folders.

SwitchMe shouldnt affect anything. Just try rebooting - its probably a launcher cache problem.
Let me know if the issue persists please.

You mention a video. However, I don't see it. Google returns metawidget.org which is obviously not the same thing.
Actually, I found it, in one of these other threads you started about meta widget.

In the list.
Problem: The widget title alignment doesn't seem to work. Regardless of choosing center or right, it remains aligned on the left.
Suggestion: Ability to select two colors so you can alternate colors for each line of a widgets content.

Any issues?
Hi again i got it to workign using adw
i may be using it wrong but i can only seem to be able to select one element on a wbsite
so on say engadget on the mobile
i can only select one story not the whole colume of them
is there a way to do this cause other wise it doesnt really work for me as a newsfeed.
couple of bugs ive found
when on engadgets desktop site, when i press the slect box thingy the buttons all disappear and come back ever time i click but then go again
works fine on mobile site though
anther is that on facebook on the desktop site, when i click the select box the whole news feed goes blank.
I know the answer to these problems is just "use the mobile site" but i thought id let you know
Cheers for the app though

I mentioned the title alignment does not work. And it seems the content alignment doesn't work either. Regardless of selecting right or center, everything aligns left.
EDIT: Alignment failed to work with m.fark.com however worked with content created from a google feed.
Also, from the video, before adding the widget the user is prompted for widget dimensions. This does not happen. Perhaps it is something to do with Nemus. But, once the widget is added I am able to scale the widget to my desired dimensions.
Device: Korean Tab 10.1WiFi (shw-m380w)
ROM: Stock Honeycomb FD19
Launcher: Nemus Launcher
Very cool app.
Suggestions:
Abiliy to enable a border.
Ability to create a template or set defaults that stores color and font sizes, etc to easily create like widgets without having to adjust new widgets to match existing widgets.
Once the desired content is selected the ui advances to the widget settings where you can select content and then colors, etc. If the user presses the back button, the widget closes and the user has to start all over again. Please change the back function to bring the user back to the content selection page or the browser window. It's really frustrating having to start over!
Ability to set a global update frequency and/or a per widget update frequency.

Alignment works fine for me on all devices i have, what is your device name and firmware version?
1: App Picker Classic
I don't know about you guys but most of the time when I open a link, I use one app. As such I select it as my default app because having to select the app, press just once and then pressing ok to the message about removing default app status is a pain. But often times I want to use a different app to open it.for example opening a url in browser or pop up browser.
So this app just makes it so you only have to press the app once to open the link with it. Awesome.

2: Disk Usage
Having two storage devices, with a fairly overpopulated filing system, can be pretty hard to manage. Even with a large sd card, it can get full pretty quick. Especially when you're downloading big files and doing nandroid backups.
This app graphically lays out your entire file system by size so you can easily see which directories and which files are hogging your storage capacity and exactly where they are all at the same time. A really easy to use and a convenient tool. Awesome.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.diskusage
3: Helium (previously carbon)
Whether you're a crack flasher or you just want to play it safe, making backups is a good idea. With helium you can backup up the state of your apps. For example your sms's, a particular apps settings or log in info, to name a few. This is an invaluable tool you should always have in your app drawer. Awesome.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.backup
I also recommend getting the premium version to support the dev and for the features
4: Swipe pad
Multitasking can be a bit cumbersome on devices with a screen smaller than that of a computer. I mean among the smallest laptops are laptops under 13" and there are some who argue those are too small to be manageable. Yes our phone is huge relative to other phones, but relative to a computer it's tiny.
I don't know about you guys but I use a small collection of apps frequently, and I have some apps which I want immediate access to. Fortunately there are developers with answers, and the product delivers.
Swipe pad is the solution. It allows you to map apps to little slots on a grid that is available when swiping from a desired edge of the screen. Simply lift your finger from the app you're touching and it gets launched. But it's not only for apps. I'll let you discover the rest, but being able to add nova launcher activities is just awesome.

Privacy is a major concern in today’s web industry. All Major Tech industries and web portals are serious about privacy. Individually, we all take privacy very seriously. Therefore, developers are trying to bring us apps that make sure our files remain private and safe from prying eyes of strangers.
# What can PrivateMe hide?
PrivateMe comes with tons of customization for the hiding features. Firstly PrivateMe can hide apps of almost all 3rd party. While hidden in PrivateMe, the data generated by these hidden apps will not be reached by other apps. At the same time, PrivateMe also can hide apps from your launcher, recent Apps list, App management in system settings and any other app trace on your phone system. Moreover, you can manage the notification of hidden apps. Secondly PrivateMe also can hide pictures, screenshot and other media files on the phone.

You can hide apps with a Launcher. I use nova launcher which has this feature.
On the v2.0 we combined Hide and Clone to the feature of Create Apps in PrivateMe, here is the steps for hiding apps:
First of all go to PrivateMe Apps Setting
Tap the + on the right top on home screen to enter App Creating list, you can choose to create local apps into PrivateMe or create new apps in PrivateMe through App market.
Hide new apps: type into search bar to find apps from App market and then install without records. Then you can access to this app through PrivateMe.
Clone apps: select from App Creating list to create apps you’ve installed, tap the app icon then will automatically prompt to create the app – detect app security – created successfully. When creating completed, the app can be used in PrivateMe normally. Now you can run multi accounts at the same time on one phone with the cloned app.
Hide local apps: after the app is created in PrivateMe, you need to uninstall it on your phone system, or later opening this app in PrivateMe to choose to uninstall from system, to completely hide this app, then you just access it from PrivateMe.
Mock Notifications: If you want to manage the notification of hidden and cloned apps, then go to PrivateMe >Home > Notifications > select block/allow/mock. And you can go to the Mock Notification Setting to customize your mock content.
Protect PrivateMe: go to the App Setting list of PrivateMe, here two protection solutions are available: Cover PrivateMe - cover PrivateMe as calculator and this calculator requires password followed by "=" to open PrivateMe; Lock PrivateMe - set the password to access PrivateMe.
Follow same method to enable the app. Just Simple like that!
Paid apps?
I tried to hide a purchased app, but the app can't "see" that I bought it so it won't run. What must I do to ensure the purchased hidden or cloned apps can run?
