Ok, I just think it would be cool if someone was able to make a Pokedex UI theme. I'm not a huge fan or anything, I just know that thousands of people would instantly get this app if they thought they could turn their phones into Pokedex's.

Lol! I have plenty of friends who have kids and they OBSESS over Pokemon with them. Haha. Still love Pokemon myself and going on 26... It's fine to love something fun and childish, that's what keeps one alive! Lol.

should be pretty easy to make too,perhaps using the slideshow feature to move the pokemon through the pokedex.Well in fifities here and me and the son had some great pokemon battles,still into Mr Potter and Co and definately lord of the rings series.

Actually found a way to display the dex rotating which was pretty bloody easy really,well at least on my galaxy S4.Simply use the built in frames widget if your firmware supports it and it will rotate them,the drawback is that you can only display each pic for seven seconds before it rotates to the next,anyway just a though in case anyone fancies trying it

We're trying to get a Pokemon theme, maybe more than one (especially after Twitch Plays Pokemon), so we'll keep you informed!

Guys, I would also use a wallpaper applying app like Wallpaper Set and Save, so that the image will not be stretched or compressed.

my theory is that it's not an individual or a few but the community. everyone was ranting and raving and showing impatience for his upcoming themes. when the time came to release he was underwhelmed from the thanks/donations afterwards. I could be wrong but that's my guess

I agree but it must have been the end results. just hope it's not about appreciation. he already started to purge files and links. that's a possible bad sign to encourage others to look elsewhere. sure hope not because the rez is a great device

I think he specifically said in his mods thread that it had nothing to do with lack of thanks/appreciation.
Mike D's themes were legit. Seeing what he was able to do has pushed me into learning how to theme roms
IM sure he will be back one day...
He is just working more hours... If he got more donations for his work I am sure he could cut back on his hours.

Well donations are optional plus times are tough. I know ive thanked the guy plenty. Hope he comes back one day.
perhaps I'll start doing small things in his place. I'm not good enough to do total themes but I can certainly decompile/recompile,edit png colors and switch font color hex codes in the xmls

Sure, they are optional, but people start getting demanding and the money helps put up with the idiots. I think the enjoyment starts to go away.
I always donate to those whose work I consistently use. But then I also buy apps.
There's a reason why devs want to dev for iphone even though there are more android phones out there. Android users tend to be cheapskates who would rather steal an app than pay for it.
cant blame the community . this one is the same as others. i know someone who was working on bamf rezound in the beginning said hed stop cause of the "community" and he did . we're not THAT bad, but quitting cause of that is kinda lame- though i do understand in away .

Users forget that Dev's are people with real lives and real responsibilities and that Android Dev'ing, for the most, of us is just a hobby like collecting Stamps or baseball cards. They seem to think that because we make cool things we are some giant company with the resources of many when in fact we are only one person trying to bring some fun to your device. But anyways.. You know that already and I am grateful for your support!
I don't know about the iPhone thing though. I couldn't deal with it if I had to. I love Android. Never really liked Apple. Hahaha

honestly, I would still be on wp7 if verizon had one with lte and a bigger screen. Really enjoyed my hd7. Spent more time using my phone. Tinkering with it is fun, but didn't miss it jumping from winmo to wp7. Used to build my own roms back then, but haven't had the time to really dive into what makes android tick.

Maybe the other 94 views didn't see anything worth saying thanks for like myself. It would be different if you made the theme yourself but you simply posted a theme you found on Google play. Congratulations. I personally think that theme sucks. It's bright and very plain. Looks very similar to stock. I've got 3 different themes I use on substranium. Should I make 3 new threads and expect thanks? Lol

Lol… And you've been on here since 2012??? Look at the Dev. thread and see how many thanks they got for either making a Rom or putting up instructions on how to flash a GSI to our devices and answer lots of questions and help in there spare time!!
Very little my friend! Take a look! And as for it being a Subsratum theme means nothing except as I posted that I haven't seen any themes on here yet! And thought it would be a great idea for posting one so others on stock that cant get Pie to work, could atleast have the Pie look! You know, that New firmware that we are not getting Lmao! And further more, ive seen in threads that some were having problems getting substatum to work!!! No I didnt make a Theme myself, but I took the time to put up a thread for others to see and help HELP them if they had questions on how to install or anything for that matter! So, yes a thanks goes a long way when your doing this on your spare time!!!

I'm more concerned about taking care of my mother with cancer, my father that's had 3 strokes, and that my bank account goes up every time my face is shown on the video Billboard in front of Harrahs on the Vegas strip. Hack im more concerned with the fact that I travel so much I don't even know what city, state, or time zone I'm in half the time when I wake up. What I'm not concerned about is how many thanks I have on xda in however many years. Do the 4 guys in my inbox from the last week that I've helped recover their bricked phones who actually said thanks count? Id prolly have more then you if I begged for thanks on every post as well. Or maybe I should get on Twitter and beg them to come on xda and thank me because I know I have way more followers then you do. Hello, All! I take a lot of low-light video of my musician kid performing in small clubs. The problem I'm having is that the brightness is always at max when I start recording. So, I move the slider down and it's great... until I touch the screen again. Then it returns to max brightness, so I have to keep adjusting it throughout my video clip which is visible in the final product. I often need to touch the screen while taping to snap a still photo or zoom in or out. This issue is maddening and is making me consider buying a different phone which is too bad because I still really love my S9+ otherwise.
Is there maybe a setting somewhere I'm not aware of? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks, everyone!

this is a recurring issue throughout all of the last 5 or 6 Samsung phones. The only way of getting around it is to use a non-standard app. I dont video live shows nearly as much as you do, in all likelihood, but i was at Armin Van Buuren on 2.1.20 and i had the same issue. Same issue with Slayer a few weeks prior to that, concert prior to that was outdoors and during the late fall with plenty of light, so that wasnt an issue then.
Try out some different camera apps in test conditions so you wont be let down at the next event.
The cameras on the S9 and S9+ are very good, but i will tell you that some friends of mine at the aforementioned Slayer gig had far worse seats than me and had FAR better pictures and videos with his S10. The difference was striking.
