Stuck on boot loop. Did everything. Flashed stock ICS, flashed kernel with recovery, flashed LT22i_DooMLoRD_leak_JB-399.zip, wiped data/factory reset, flashed new kernel. Can someone help?
EDIT: When flashing zip it takes only 10 seconds or so and it says finished. It's too soon, right?

For those with boot loop using Xposed, try the workaround as it has worked for me which can be found at the link posted below.

Hello Sir. i'm running the Stock OTA update on my Sony Z Ultra everything is running real smooth my only complaint why Sony went with such small icons when we have such a large screen where the Z3 phones is using large icons on 5.0.2 we should all call Sony.
Both mirror were anable to use...
I think due to too much traffic...

Simple fix, download an alternative launcher such as Nova Launcher. In my opinion it's the best launcher with the most amount of customization including increasing or reducing icon size. The default icon size was 100% and I increased it to 115% since they were indeed too small!

FWIW, I grabbed the US 14.5.A.0.242 using Xperifirm, turned it into an FTF using FlashTool, then made a flashable rooted zip with [NUT]s dualrecovery 2.8.9 using PRF creator 0.8, installed xposed 3.0alpha2 and rebooted successfully. EDIT: Gravitybox 5.0.7alpha causes bootloops.
Kudos to @inauthoritative for his work and posting it for all to use, especially for those without access to a Windows PC to use those tools.
Here is Android 6.0.1 for our xperia z ultra.

It was posted in another thread and not its own so here you.
You flash via recovery.
I came from stock, and aosp. It boots up fine, let first boot take like 2 mins.
If anyone have GAPPS please post.
Currently it doesn't pick up the sim card and has the aosp WiFi bug. If anyone gets sim working please post.
No credit to me... Just sharing with fellow z ultra users

I tried all 4 modems so I'm guessing its the devs fault.
THİS ROM İS NOT GOOD FOR DAİLY USE.
This ROM is basen on CM13 , so when cm fixes the sim and wifi this whill be fixed to. For Gapps you can use http://opengapps.org/ (ARM 6.0).

Yeah I even posted modems in that thread I think it's an issue with the rom
Same problem with the 12/21 build, no camera and no sim.
http://www.cmxlog.com/13
You can track here for CM13 fixes. When tou see togari or rhine got sim card camera and memory fixes then it will be fixed on this rom to and probably the official CM13 nightlys will start then...
Sometimes back
When i was looking at the cm gerrit, there was a mention of switching to kernel 3.10 on rhine based devices and subsequently using the aosp ril, that's why the sim might not me working.
Wait for sometime... Fix will come.
Did anyone try the 25th December nightly from VanirAOSP?
Is the sim working?
Still sim not working.
Following this. My ZU is just a spare phone so I am happy to test builds.
12/25 Rom has the same Sim problem.
12/31 same problems.

does it support htc themes??
is it possible to change CPU governors? or have some cpu/kernel tweeks?

It seems to be using SenseUI. And tweaks should always work on any android device, especially the de-bloated ones.

Me too, so I am asking htcdev to release the kernel source code for us so that I may port a AOSP rom later this summer. But for now htcdev is just wasting my time by either redirecting me to unlock my damn bootloader or give be links to the KK kernel source code again and again .

Complete waste of time. I tried several different ways to flash this ROM but it's just not compatible with the XZ1 8341. Now i have to flash back to stock and the restore my TWRP backup.
Incompatible ROMs should NOT be posted on these forums unless they have been tested at the very least by the OP.

Hey, I'm asking this just to be sure that we can consider the rom incompatible for our device.
You used the rom that said A-only, right? Since the thread states that the XZ1 only supports build A-only. If so, we could try mentioning the issues you experienced in the original thread.
Thank you for your time.
Edit: I've just seen your posts in the original thread. Sorry for the quote.
No it's ok, I don't mind helping, it's just frustrating. I flashed the A only nosu vanilla version, then booted into TWRP and performed a factory reset and when I rebooted into system the phone just hangs on the Sony boot screen for ages then reboots and does the same thing again and again.
I had the same experience with all A-only versions.
