Telus Unlocked HTC One X+ Rom Flashing Help - HTC One X+

Hi all, I'm now back to an Android and HTC device after a while. I picked up an HTC One X + from eBay and it's an Telus unlocked handset. I did a fastboot and it showed CID 111111 and S-Off. My question is can I flash international Custom Roms on this? Or am I just limited to AT&T ones. (I believe as it's S-Off, I can install Int. Roms) Do I lose out on anything if I flash an international ROM.
Please help me out. I'm starting from scratch and the existence of 2 variants of this model has confused me.
Thanks in advance,
Jude

Yep you will loose something flashing an international rom ..... Your phone! ,lol
The NA HOX+ and the international one have diffrent radio hardware and are not compatible in any way.

Your question makes little sense and is overall pointless. Go to settings on the phone and check for a software update. If one is available it will be downloaded and installed. If one is not available then you are current.

Thanks for your help but I wasn't asking about an at&t phone I was asking about a Sim Free WWE phone.
So can someone please tell me what the latest software version is for the One X +?
All I can find is this....
https://support.htc.com/index.php?t...pdate_-_Android_4.1.1_and_HTC_Sense_4+_update
But that appears to be for the One X.

I am debating similar question too, trying to decide which of the following I should flash/wait to flash
1. Developer Edition (support by HTC directly, but so far stuck on 4.12)
2. International Stock Rom (support by HTC directly, has 4.22, not sure if OTA will work even with SuperCID or correct CID since we are in US?)
3. Nexus Edition (support by Google, which means updates will be fast and furious, but no Sense 5)
I know SuperCID will let you whatever rom you want, but will OTA work with superCID? or we need to set CID to match the rom for OTA to work?
S-Off'd and successfully RUU'd the Developer Edition on my AT&T One!

Has anyone noticed any issued with the dev edition rom running on at&t or is it all in my head? I feel like my reception is weaker (at least it shows weaker) Do they run a different algorithm for service than at&t?
Go to settings and look at signal strength. Bars lie..

Stock HTC Rom

Would it be possible to flash a stock (original from HTC - for example the 32gb unlocked rom) on a At&t HTC One without rooting?
My company uses Good Enterprise and it won't work on a rooted phone so I'm debating on getting the At&t HTC One (I'm up for an update and can get it for 199) or just get the unlocked version from HTC?
At&t takes FOREVER with updates and I just don't want to deal with that again (possibly wait 5-6 months before At&t releases 4.2.2)
You probably are better off with the international version if you can afford it

You could unlock the bootloader, flash a recovery such as TWRP, flash the Rom of your choice, and unroot it. Unrooting a Rom is easy.

I'm think of buying the AT&T HTC one but I just want the plain google stock rom just like the version that release on the 26th. I just want to conform that you have had success in replacing rom with a genuine HTC stick international version on a AT&T htc one? What did you need to do to achieve this if you don't mind sharing. I tried access your links but they dot appear to be working because they look to be truncated.

hey sorry to interrupt but how is your htc one so fast?
i live in miami, fl and the most i've gotten on at&t 4G LTE on the ONE is 12mpbs d/l
where on my former iphone 5 it was 25-29mbps loving the phone but not the speed difference.
Has anyone turned their att HTC one into a Dev edition? I'm on arhd but the whole firmware flashing thing has me interested in just going into the Dev edition to be able to just receive OTA updates.

so this is a link to the stock OEM rom which is not rooted. what do i have to do to replace my at&t rom with this? also in the future, how would i go about installing the updates?
again, at the end of the day, Good Enterprises does a quick check to make sure the phone is not rooted, so no matter what i do, the phone cannot be rooted. if i have to root, flash something which results in the phone going back to non-rooted, that's fine, i just want to understand what's needed before i get started
edit:
can't i flash the stock rom which would have come on the unlocked htc one if i had just gotten that instead?

So I read up on this because this sounded like something i would really like to achieve as the international has already recieved 4.2.2.
Ive researched a bit and I was just curious if what I've read is actually true. My theory is that since both devices , international and at&t , both have roms for the 4.1.2 firmware then i may flash my phone to run the actual international versions firmware 4.1.2 thus then letting me upgrade to 4.2.2. This is actually be possible on my at&t HTC one 32 GB ? I believe this is true but are there actual proof of xda devs running this? Thanks for the help guys i don't know what the heck I would do without this awesome community of Devs and modders.

You don't need to flash the international 4.1.2 you can flash 4.2.2

Not for nothin, but 4.2.2 hasn't been released. The custom ROMS based on it are using a leaked base

Just wondering....

Ok...my phone is an AT&T HTC One...but I have it unlocked...and rooted...and s-off....is that why it shows up as a HTC EUROPE HTC ONE in the screenshot below?
Probably.... because.... you..... use.... way..... too.... many.... dots....

You forgot to mention that you have a custom ROM installed. AT&T HTC One isn't supposed to have 4.2.2 yet.

Did you change to supercid (11111111)? That, coupled with everyone else mentioning the 4.2.2 not being out in the US, would make sense as to why it's not appearing correct.
