when is the official jb releasing for s3?
Sent for sg-s3(omega9.1/siyah 1.3.9)
It is unknown. But it is near.
*We already reported yesterday that the Samsung Galaxy S2 Jelly Bean update is already being tested, so this surely means that the S3 will most definitely be on the list next, if we look over at Sam Mobile they suggest an September launch or we could indeed see it as early as August.*

4.1.1 will come out after Galaxy Note 2. Now here everything about money. 4.1.1 is another point to buy it Note2.
They will not screw another big sale.
I read somewhere on internet that some updates will come on SGS3 sgs2 and galaxy note and something about jellybean.
today my galaxy note had an software update but no jellybean!
what do you know about those update that are coming

There is a thread in the general section. This isn't the right place for questions like yours.
We know as much as you, it's on the way.
If you are bored play around with custom roms, otherwise you will just have to be patient like the rest of us

Rooted Samsung Galaxy Rush user here. I was wondering if it's possible to have a dev port Android 4.3 stock to the Galaxy Rush?
One guy did it for Android 4.0. Although he used other files from a different Samsung device to use it on the Rush (Prevail 2).

Hi guys,
Just like the subject, will mega 6.3 get android 5 officially some day from Samsung ??
I know it's toooo early for such a Q but this may be a matter of live or death for any device
Like S2 which still receives it's 4th big update now (live) , and Galaxy Grand which received it's only 1st update 4.2.2 (death) .
I wish any one have something or a prediction just say it and try to proof it

I think we need to worry about getting 4.3 before we think about 5.0.

Will it be something to worry about

The old Galaxy S2 got a jellybean update from samsung. A year old Galaxy Grand Dous, an almost entry-level phone, got a jb 4.2.2 update from samsung. Even the old Galaxy Tab 2, an old entry-level tab, got a jb 4.2.2 update.
Why would samsung abandon a two-and-a-half month old Mega 6.3 all of a sudden?
Samsung already said that they will no longer support dual cored devices after 4.2 update but they said it before 4.3 was released so it's sure that premium end dual core devices (such as mega and may be note 1) will get 4.3 update.)
But there's is a big doubt existing:what: in the case for dual cored devices getting 5.0(but why samsung put dual core on mega, a premium device when they are providing octa core on s4

When did Samsung say they will no longer support dual core devices after 4.2 update? I don't think that's true.
The Mega is a mid range device and at the price you can't find anything near what you get from it.

No man I relly meant they(sammy) even didn't put quad core on the device at this price range(note that mega released after s4 and they even knows that key lime pie can't be put on a dual core)
Also looking on the price range in my country (India)
Mega 6.3 -- 31000rs
Note 2 --->34000rs
S3 ----> 27000rs
S4 ----> 40000rs
Verdict : note 2 and s3 is better and got quad core(really better than mega on performance and price)

But did you noticed comments posted there?? Even google is not supporting their dual core devices on next update (say, galaxy nexus, but mega is far more powerful than galaxy nexus)
But anyway if we has luck we could get klp (my device is also a dualcore legend, the mighty tab 2 .But I am pretty sure my device wouldn't get klp (may be CM would help) coz it's too weak to run even the stock 4.2.2)

Galaxy Nexus is not ALL dual core phones so it's nothing to worry about.
I have the tab 2 7.0 and I am sure the Tab 3 will get KLP and its specs is the same as the Tab 2.
I don't think it's good just speculating and making people worry about things we're not really sure about.
