Hello all,
I've bought a Mediapad 10 FHD for my wife and have a problem with video and animated gifs , they are showing with an frame rate of i think 2 or 3 per second, which is awful. She's watching a lot on the 9gag app (which i also love ) but isn't happy about this. I have a (old) motorola xoom myself and having no problems with frame rate whatsoever.
So my question , anybody else has (had) problems like this ? and now how to fix this ?
Thx !

Hi all,
I´m running a standard S2 with latest LP7 ICS Stock-Firmware.
recently I discovered a very odd thing about the S2´s video recording. While the general abillities are quite good, it seems the device is recording every video with a random fps rate ... especially when recording 720p or 1080p ... i recorded 4 sniplets in a row and EVERY one slightly differs in frame rate ... 29.384 fps, 29,031 fps, 29,782 pfs ... this sucks the big hairy meatball folks! How am i supposed to cut and edit those to one clip without re-rendering all to one steady frame rate?
Also tried LG Camera pro but same problem, despite fixing the frame rate to exactly 30 fps. Anyone hading the same problem? or even better - having a solution to fix this?
Thanks!
K.
Use a good transcoding software.
Anyone?
Hello.
I have One Plus X and I love taking videos. Previously I had Galaxy S2 Plus with Cyanogen Mod and had no issue with videos.
With One Plus X frame rate is variable and makes editing really hard in adobe premier. At the moment I use Handbreak to deal with this issue.
My friend told me that nearly all new phone record with Variable Frame Rate which I did not knew. =/
I tried Open Camera which I can select lock 30fps but no luck there.
Any help or ideas?
Thanks
Hello!
I have used Huawei P20 Pro for a little under 2 weeks and I totally love the phone itself.
Before this one I had a Samsung Galaxy S8, by my little analyse, Huawei beats it in everything but Video recording quality, Screen quality and the last one, well, that's awkward, snapchat.
Yes, I am a heavy snapchat user, it's about 50% of the time I use on mobile.
This is why I have a question for you people who use Huawei Mate 10, since it's a little bit older device so optimalisation should be fixed by now.
I wonder about 2 things
The first thing:
My Huawei P20 Pro takes pictures on snapchat with resolution 1440x720 and sometimes even lower at 960x462 while I have screen set up on Full HD+.
The quality within the app is so bad, it feels like I jumped back to my Galaxy S3 from a couple years ago.
So I wonder if it is the same on Huawei Mate 10, or is it fixed and it takes higher resolution photos.
The second thing:
While I know that laggy and unsmooth zoom is about the huawei camera app itself, not snapchat, the other problem is stabilization.
There is no sign for any form for stabilization while filming on snapchat, and that's weird since mobile supports stabilization upto 1080p, and, as i said. My snap takes pictures and records at 1440x720 or 960x462
So if you own a Huawei Mate 10 and got a couple of minutes to find it out, you would really help me out.
You could also post some pictures or videos taken with your Huawei Mate 10, that would be really helpful.
If it is something that will get updated, I will just stick with P20 and wait for the update, but if not, I'm going to change to S9 instead.
Sorry for my English but it is my third language.
Your problem is snapchat...
When you record photos or video with camera app the photos are great..
With snapchat they're crap

While I know that Snapchat is making the quality of the pictures and videos worse because it's screenshoting what the camera sees instead of using all camera options, the quality wasn't that bad on my Galaxy S8.
Pictures on Galaxy S8 had a resolution around 2560x1440 and movies were filmed at 1080p with stabilization, here I get 1440x720/960x462 without stabilization with Huawei P20, that's a huge drop.

For your third language you communicate in English much better than many born and raised with English as their first language!
Hi All!
Anyone experience Stutter / micro frame drops on Asphalt 8 on Poco F1?
Also, youtube channels saying "Poco keeps cool even during gaming" but I certainly feel warm up after some photos I take or shortly after I run a game. So Unsure who's right?

Saw some frame drops in 8 ball pool game, wonder what's the deal with this. Maybe software issue.
I saw many vids on YT non of them addressed what i care about, on 1080p 30 fps recording, does the mate 20 pro stutter and kinda lags behind where your hand has actually stopped?
2- On 1080p 60 fps, is there any video stabilisation active?

No stabilization on the 60 fps. I've been reading about it all day, regardless I love my mate pro way more than my note 9. I'll be selling my note.
