So I have been looking for a way to watch amazon prime videos since I've become a prime member. No solid workarounds aside from using Firefox and Flash which is inconvenient. After writing to Amazon this is was the response I received below. Anyone else have a resolution or have contacted amazon about this? From what I'm aware of its been an on going thing for a while, maybe 2 years.

New to Prime.....assumed there was an app for this
I am still a bit dumfounded why there is not an app for this on android. I have used the alternate browser with flash method to get around the issue, but does anyone know if the lack of an android app comes down to a proprietary agreement between IOS and Amazon to prevent/delay an android release?

There is a 'android' version, it's just only for the Amazon devices and select Google TV devices. From what I gather they're holding out on devices outside of that.

What are u guys using on your tablet for security. Sometimes my tablet is left in my car and i would hate to think of a day that comes in which it is stolen. What 3rd party apps are u guys using to locate and wipe your device?
I'm using Samsung's own service
Samsung Dive
Seems to work well.
I use seekdroid. It works perfectly.

This a hard question, cause myself use Lookout Mobile Security for my tablet, but then again I have Verizon 4G Galaxy Tab 10.1. It works like its suppose to, but it was slow at locating my device but further testing proves it to work.

Thanks for the apk.
I'm really surprised that Google restricted it to the USA.
Currents is just a news aggregating service...these websites are available normally on the web from around the world...
Its the same with other mobile products... Voice/Wallet/Music etc and now currents...
at least there are ways around it...
Many thanks, Currents works fine on my phone.
anything special with new Google apk, please share?.

to be honest, nothing is safe once it's on the internet. Best way to keep files is in a vault built into the wall behind a cheap painting. And share stuff personally, not using postal services because they, like, sometimes check your mail...
Back on topic. I like the idea of google offering a dropbox alternative. With few to no adds, a simple app that integrates with the android ecosystem...
I love dropbox for giving a flawless user experience between different platforms, and for being free...i just hope google drive would live up to be even better.

The HTC Droid DNA [codename "HTC DLX"] is the first device to launch with a widget analogous to the Kindle Fire interface or the Nexus "My Library" widget for Google Play. This is called the Amazon App Suite for Android and more info is available here: http://wireless.amazon.com/HTC-DNA-Android-Verizon-Wireless/dp/B00A4OOPN0#AmazonAppSuite
As you can see from the image here, there is a custom widget that supports "single sign-on" to most Amazon services (strangely Amazon Instant Video is omitted...hmmm!).

Was wondering if anyone with the devices could pull the Amazon apk and post it here. This is not WAREZ as it should be available from the Amazon App Store and perhaps even the Google Play Android Apps in the future.
Can anyone help with this?

Copy to /system/app, fix permissions, reboot.
Has anybody the original The Room & The Room 2 Amazon APK? (*no* illegal stuff here!)
I've got a little problem.
I bought the Amazon version of The Room some time ago (by mistake more or less) and now I also got The Room 2 via the current free deal.
However, I don't have a Kindle but a Galaxy Nexus. Therefore, I cannot download the app from the App Store.
According to the Play edition, the device should work, though. It is just Amazon that is preventing the install.
That's why I am looking for a way to install the game on my GNex.
Either you have an idea to fool the App Store into thinking I have a Kindle - I have XPrivacy installed, maybe this might help in spoofing it.
Or someone can send me the original (no crack or bull****) APKs, so I can install them manually? The App Store should then take care of the authentication, shouldn't it?
Thank you very much for your input!
As kind of a proof, here are my orders:
