That's what I thought too. Cool, thanks.
I don't have FCs so far.
Edit: Maps is not loading location. Hangouts doesn't load due to some error with Google Play services. Something is really wonky with the GP services..
Also, you mentioned the Headset fix. Are you referring to the fix that was in place for MIUI 2.3 back in the days?

Headset fix doesn't really work and it shuts off the phone where you have to pull the battery after making a call (also caused the power button not to respond). Reflashed the ROM again. The mute issue still persists (as with previous MIUI ROMs, I believe).

I find the Mic when I press lower left capacative button but it says "recognizer not present"
Edit
Found a copy of Nuance voice and installed. Now the microphone icon is on the keyboard and works perfectly.
Edit:

Take the battery and put it back. Start up the device, and wait until it boots. When it finishes booting, change the screen timeout to 30 mkins, and every 20 mins touch the screen. Hope this helped xD

If you need your phone so badly why don't you just flash a GB based rom like Nottachtrix or cm7 ?
With all the JB build or ICS roms i have tried, my phone never goes to deep sleep too, i don't have an answer yet, but even when i plug it to the charger the cpu reminds at 750 Mhz.
The best for you it's to change until someone finds a solution

I had the exact same happen to me, tried everything I could think of to fix it. Finally had to use lgnpst to restore, then reroot unlock and flash base.
I think I'll just wait to see if the next rom fixes it if that's the case. Does anyone know if there is an option to calibrate the sensors? I've looked but haven't found it

Under display in system settings, the last option but it will not help. You can be up and running in no time, lgnpst doesn't wipe data and there is an automated install script. Once you have everything downloaded it runs in few minutes.
